May I know a little more about the school maybe? I just want to make sure the character I create will be okay.

Sure, this is a private academy run by the Turian family, who also owns the city and its surrounding suburbs. For reasons undisclosed the students of the school are ranked not just on academic performance but also on their ability to best each other in archaic combat. A student's rank determines whether or not their family will be allowed to live in one of the better neighborhoods in the city or be confined to the slums. As a student you must climb your way through the ranks, making friends and enemies as you go, with the hopes of one day freeing this city from the grip of the ruling family. Also they make everyone wear uniforms, which denote your status.

Hm alright sounds good. Are only certain people allowed into this school?

Nope, it used to be a normal public school, but when the family bought up the city they enrolled all residents of eligible age. They own a huge clothing and fashion empire.

You have an idea for how the uniforms look and all the ranks?

Personally I'm torn as far as the uniforms go, I can't decide if I like the American style which is all blazers and ties and such, or the Japanese style, which are based off of military uniforms. As far as the ranks go there are five, each one richer than the last. at the bottom are the slums, then you move up to apartments and town houses, then you get to Suburbia, then you reach the multi-leveled condo buildings, at the top are mansions with land property and everything, but only the best get those.

Ohhhh. Would you like to have both our characters start from the bottom? Or have my character starts from the bottom while yours is in a higher rank?

We could do it either way really. It just depends on your preferences.

I think it my be interesting to have your character a little higher up but obvioisly atill have somewhere to go. I just have an idea is all.

Weapon: Katana light saber ( not sure what your plan is for actually fighting tell me if this does not suit what you are thinking)

Background


Ren grew up with her older brother and little sister, their parents died when she was very little so all she had was her brother Kai. The three of them grew up in the slums together doing anything they could to survive. Kai taught Ren how to defend herself both with her hands and a sword, she had always been gifted in fighting as it came naturally to her but when it came down to actually hurting someone she would always hesitate. Now she fights to put her family in a better home as her little sister now lives in the slums but has to battle with her inner conscious about hurting those around her.

Hair: Messy brown, is slicked back when at formal events, otherwise is all poofy.

Weapon: Lance (it's alright if it's a laser sword, as long as it can't like cut through an important enemy's weapon.)


Personality: Upbeat and witty, tends to avoid thinking about problems, charges head on into adversity. Kind. Competitive. Anything of inconvenience and discomfort is a pain and not worth dwelling on.


Bio: Was brought up in the Apartment sector with his brother by a single father, but recently moved to the suburbs due to personal merit. Always rode a wave of personal talent through school, never had to cram or study. Grew extremely bored with life, especially when he found dating to be dull, but then welcomed the excitement of the new school rules, felt that honest blood sport was the best expression of his skill.

Thats cool. Oh do you maybe want to use the same type of outfit that the picture is wearing? ( I do really like the Persona 4 uniforms lol) Maybe on the collar or the arm they would have a symbol or the colour that represents what rank they are?

That could work. You could have pins that go on the collar to denote your rank, from one to five. As far as the uniforms go I'm still undecided on what I want them to look like, I'll make up my mind tomorrow and send you a picture.

Thats cool I understand. I hope you know I am not trying to rush you just asking questions that pop into my head ^^ Would they also have normal classes? Or would it mostly be based around fighting?

There's normal courses, those can help decide your ranking as well. The system was designed to weed out the weakest members both mentally and physically. Almost like a eugenics process to produce the best specimens of the human race.
