Jessaline
When she heard the brunette's name, Jess' mind clicked. Ah, so that's why. God, I should've known. She kept her face expressionless as the teacher picked on Avery, deciding that the little Australian needed to learn what high school over here would be like.
Especially this school.
She hummed out the melody she'd been pencilling, just to make sure it sounded okay. Of course, it sounded okay, great even, but her perfectionism in music always got the better of her. Jess erased half of the song and chewed on her lip as she thought.
"You smell like vodka." She glanced up a moment and almost let out a laugh. She'd never met someone so forward with it. Well, thinking back, Aubrey had been that blunt as well, but with a lot more confidence. "Why wouldn't I smell like vodka?" Jess picked up her bottle and waved the vodka-diluted substance at her, then placed it back where it'd been.
Giving her a cheeky smile, she asked, "Do you always wear sunglasses indoors or was that a one-time thing?" She narrowed her eyes at the brunette who was trying very hard to cover her face with her hair. Some of the vodka had already gotten to her mind a bit, and she broke out into a series of soft giggles at Avery's look, which she found absolutely hilarious. After she'd recovered from her laughing fit, she asked for Avery's number. "I'll forward something to you. Just give it over."
