Realistic or Modern π¬πœπšπ«π² 𝐧𝐒𝐠𝐑𝐭, 𝐒𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐒𝐭?

Ellie was satisfied with Sky accepting her proposal, and after the two clinked their class, Ellie too downed her drink. She had her eyes squeezed shut as she chugged, as though that would make the taste more bearable. It did help in a way, actually. As she gulped down the last drop of liquor, she placed the glass back onto the table and squeezed her eyes shut even tighter, letting out a quiet groan. Her coke to vodka ratio was definitely off, she'd have to fix that for the next drink.

Josh was watching the girls down their drinks, wincing a little too. Weed was way better tasting than alcohol, that was for sure. He liked the taste of beer, but the taste of vodka was absolutely horrendous in his opinion. That didn't mean he didn't drink it though. The end result of being drunk was totally worth it.

"Thank you, thank you." Ellie responded to the clapping, sort of raising her empty glass to Xander.

"Yeah fuck it." Ellie nodded, the remnants of a grimace still sitting on her face as she recovered from the drink. She slid the glass closer to Sky so she could pour her a drink, reaching for a nacho with her free hand. Nachos seemed to be a pretty good chaser.

The girl turned her attention to Xander, thinking for a moment. Part of her was tempted to say dare, but she had a feeling that Xander would dare her something rather interesting so she settled for truth.

"Truth." She told him.

"That's my girl!" Sky celebrated, happy that Ellie was down for another drink too. At the same time she looked over to Lindsey to see where she was with her drink, it was almost half way gone so she was bound to catch up soon.

Whilst Xander gave Ellie a truth, Sky poured a drink for her similar in strength to her own. She was rather relived that Alex didn't ask her truth or dare, he seemed to be very passionate about this game and she could guess that he'd give her a pretty extreme question to answer or action to commit. She'd have to be drunk to not dread being chosen by him.

With a smirk, Alex nodded and thought for a moment. He finished his beer and tossed the empty can in the trash, hearing it clank as it hit the bottom. He folded his arms over his torso and looked at her, a very sly smirk on his face.

"Out of everyone here, who would you most like to make out with?" He raised an eyebrow. He knew it was a rather extreme question for so early on in the game, but he wanted to cause some tension and figured that everyone was reaching the point where they were drunk enough to not take an answer too seriously. As he waited for an answer he pulled out another beer from the fridge.

Lindsey murmured an "Oooo!" At the exciting question, taking a large sip of her drink to finish it quicker.

Ellie couldn't deny that at this point she was definitely tipsy. Being on an empty stomach meant she was feeling the alcohol a lot quicker, too, and she was sure that within the next ten minutes she'd only get drunker as her body kept absorbing the liquor. Definitely not a heavy weight. She had a hand on the counter to help keep her balanced, not that she was stumbling but she didn't want to give off the impression that she was already pretty tipsy. She watched Skylar pour her a drink, offering her a smile and a 'thanks' before taking a sip to taste the ratio. Perfect. Way better than Ellie's previous attempt anyway.

She looked up at Xander in anticipation, lifting the cup up to her face and setting her lips on the rim as she looked at him. And then he asked his question. She proceeded to take a sip, with her eyebrows furrowed at the sudden extreme turn in the game. If this wasn't going to create tension, nothing else would.

Joshua couldn't help the small laugh that left him, relieved that he wasn't Ellie right now. Not that he felt embarrassment easily, but it felt like a very exposing question and Josh probably would've simply found a way to avoid it or said someone completely unexpected just for the fun of it. But, he was curious about who she'd say. He had a feeling Ellie wouldn't say his name, seeing as they weren't close enough for it to not be weird of her, so he inspected the rest of the room. Was Ellie straight?

Yes, very much so. She intended to answer the question properly because she knew that if Sky or Lindsey had been asked this, she'd want them to as well. Besides, it was only fair that she exposed herself the way Lindsey (sort of) did. Without looking at Josh, she immediately scratched him off the list. No offence to him, he really just wasn't her type. Not that he was unattractive, but she never found herself checking him out. That left her with only one other option.

Her eyes had been on the drink in her hands the entire time to spare herself any embarrassing glances. Ellie looked over at Skylar for a second, before deciding she should just go for it. The pretty girl leaned forward onto the counter with the drink between her hands, her face low as she turned her head to look up at Alexander. A small smirk threatening to grow wider sat on her lips.

"You." She told him rather simply but confidently, before looking away and taking a sip of her drink. Her heartbeat was absolutely pounding in her chest. She didn't even have a crush on him, she just felt incredibly exposed in front of her friends despite her confidence.

"Ooo." Josh grinned, nudging the brunette with denim overalls standing beside him at the prospect of drama unfolding tonight. Not that he cared for drama, the tone in his voice made it clear that he was trying to act a little dramatic on purpose.

"Get 'em tiger." Lindsey commented. Now that made Ellie feel more embarrassed. She stood up straight a little, deciding it was time to move onto the next truth or dare prompt.

"Sky, ask someone." Ellie then said, praying for Sky to pull her out of the situation by asking someone something. Curious as to how Xander had reacted to what she said, Ellie glanced over at him.

Skylar was rather taken aback by Alex's question, she really wasn't expecting something so tension-inducing so soon into the game. But she was just relieved it wasn't her, of course she knew exactly who she would choose if she was in that situation.

She had no clue who Ellie was going to choose, she knew Ellie was straight so it wouldn't have been her or Lindsey, so that left the two boys. The girl would be lying if she said she was a little frightened that Ellie would speak Josh's name- not that she ever showed interest in him, but it wasn't like she ever showed interest in Alex either. Due to that she couldn't help but let out a subtle sigh of relief when Ellie told Alex that it would be him. Still, she was quite shocked that she said it so outwardly.

At her answer, Sky giggled and shared a glance with Josh, finding the drama a little exciting now that she was sure she was the only one with heart eyes for him. But she, too, quickly shifted her eyes onto Alex, very intrigued as to what his reaction would be. She wondered if his intention for answering that question had anything to do with him personally, if it was a way of getting an answer to something he'd been wondering for a while.

Of course, it wasn't. Alex just wanted to spice things up, get things going. His surprise when she answered was shadowed by his confidence, his lips upturning into an arrogant smirk.

"Don't blame ya'." He replied. He didn't think that she wouldn't choose him, but he thought that regardless of if she was straight or not she may have avoided tension and embarrassment through avoiding the question somehow, or making a joke out of it. But he was actually flattered for once. He would've said he was the most attractive, 'kissable' guy out of the two of them but he was definitely just had a strong bias- that didn't mean he wasn't partial to a compliment like that from a pretty girl.

By now Sky was rather tipsy, borderline drunk from downing her drink with Ellie and taking a few sips of her freshly poured one. It helped when it came to her turn, and of course she looked to Josh. To other people it may just seem like she was asking him since he hadn't chosen a truth or dare yet, but she was honestly quite curious and wanted to give him attention.

"Josh! Truth or dare?" She asked, leaning a little closer to him.

In the midst of awaiting a response from Josh, Lindsey finished her drink and poured herself another. She was definitely beyond tipsy now and was giggling at everything and anything.

Ellie felt flustered from the whole interaction, but not as flustered as one would expect. That was definitely thanks to the alcohol, which tended to make Ellie far more confident and careless, and turned her into a bit of a flirt. His confident response to her answer didn't go unnoticed.

But, she was relieved that Sky helped shift the topic of the conversation and decided to ask Joshua something. Despite her intoxicated state, Ellie was hyper-aware of Alexander standing next to her, focusing on keeping her gaze on Sky and Josh so she wouldn't have to look at Xander.

At this point Josh had moved the nacho chips slightly closer to him since he was the one eating most of them, as well as the guac. They'd hung out at Lindsey's before and he knew she was well-stocked up on snacks, so he didn't worry about accidentally finishing the chips.

"Hm?" He hummed in response as he turned to look over at Sky, placing a guac-dipped chip inside he mouth as he listened to her. He contemplated whether to do truth or dare. Everyone kept saying truth, and though there were many potential spicy questions, including the one Xander had asked, Josh felt like now was the right time to do a dare. So, that's what he told her.

"Dare me." Josh answered rather simply but in a challenging manner, brushing the nacho dust off his hands by rubbing his hands together before fixing the beanie atop his head. His words were slower than usual, not necessarily slurred though. The tone of his voice had gotten the slightest bit deeper and raspy, too, a result of smoking the entire joint by himself. Smoke affected his voice somewhat drastically. He cleared his throat, though he knew it would do absolutely nothing to return his voice to its original state.

Josh choosing a dare didn't surprise Sky in the least, but this meant she was stuck for something to say. She had plenty ideas for a truth, she was a little iffy for a dare, not sure how far would be too far. But she didn't want to push those limits yet anyway. She looked at him for inspiration, before a sly smile crept on her face as she thought about his main activity since he finished smoking was munching on the nachos.

"I dare you to seductively lick a nacho." She said gallantly, proud of herself as if she hadn't dared him to do something rather unsophisticated. "You can choose a dip of your liking, of course." She added as if licking a nacho was the most normal thing to do.

Lindsey sipped her drink and stepped closer, intrigued to watch Josh execute the dare.

Alex chuckled and peered over, not that he had interest in watching another guy use his tongue to caress some food, but any dare intrigued him. He was happy with how the evening was going now, he couldn't complain since his truth question to Ellie resulted in a technical compliment to him. And he was very close to being full on drunk.

This probably excused his frequent glances to the pretty girl stood beside him, who he hadn't stopped thinking of since she said out of everyone she'd choose to kiss him. The boy had never thought about her in that way before, he blamed it all on the alcohol. This was common with Alex, he'd never outwardly think about a girl in such a way unless he got wind of her thinking that about him.

Ellie, however, wasn't thinking of Xander like that. Not that much at least. Sure, the idea had crossed her mind, but she wasn't that intent on doing it. Her attention was captured by Sky's interesting dare, and so she proceeded to rest her elbow upon the cold counter and her face atop the palm of her hand as she watched the scene unfold before her. Her attention was mostly on Joshua and Skylar at this point, but she couldn't help but take note of every movement Xander made beside her. It was definitely the alcohol.

Joshua's eyebrows raised up upon hearing the dare she had in mind for him. Not exactly what he expected, but he supposed it could've gone far worse. He let a small laugh leave him as a thought came across his mind.

"Can't get enough of me licking things?" He joked, referring back to her watching him roll the joint in the car, unsure whether she'd get the reference. That's all it was to him; a joke. His tone made it clear that that's what it was all about, just a jab at Skylar for the nature of her dare. Nonetheless, he accepted and reached over to grab a chip from the bowl, making sure to choose one that wasn't damaged or broken. The dip of his choice was salsa, and with a swift movement, he dunked the chip into the red dense sauce before holding the chip in front of his face, staring at it.

He glanced over at the people in the room, before proceeding with the dare. He let out a quiet huff, the track on the stereo switching to "About a Girl" by Nirvana as he did so. He stuck his tongue out and pressed the chip against the base of it, delicately licking upwards in fear of breaking the chip. His slightly puffy, blood-red eyes were half-shut, staring into absolute nothingness. He reached the top of the nacho, welcoming the tangy tomato-based flavour onto his tastebuds. The warm salsa began to drip down from the tip of the chip to his fingertips, and as he removed his tongue from the snack, he ate the chip. After swallowing it down, he looked over to Skylar for approval that his dare had been completed, sticking his salsa-covered index finger into his mouth and licking off any potential remnants of sauce. He was too high to give a crap about what he was doing.

"Seductive enough?" Joshua let out a low chuckle as he removed his finger from between his lips and approached the sink to give his hands a quick wash.

"Never gonna look at you the same." Lindsey remarked jokingly, to which Josh responded with a cheeky mix between a smirk and a slight grin. He wasn't particularly affected by her comment, and instead proceeded to eat more chips. Normally.

Ellie had a look of surprise on her face. Considering he was high and not drunk, he executed that pretty well.

Alex kept his mind and eyes elsewhere as Josh had his inappropriate moment with a nacho chip. Not just on Ellie but also on what his next drink would be, sure he liked his beers but they were slow in getting him drunk and tonight he planned on being hammered. So he decided with vodka and would pour himself one after Josh finished his dare.

Out of everyone, Sky probably had the strongest reaction, not that she’d let it show. The last thing she wanted was for people to think she dared it as a way of deriving some sort of pleasure from it- which of course she didn’t, she wasn’t expecting him to be so committed. Her eyes followed the drips of salsa creeping down the chip and onto his finger.

The girl was somewhat speechless and flustered once he’d finished, she had to clear her throat a little before she could answer, as if she was dragging herself from one state of reality to another. Her eyes moved from looking at his mouth to looking into his eyes.

Nodding, she finally responded. β€œYeah. Yes it was.” She offered a very quick smile and then picked up her drink, hoping the cold liquid would cool her reddening cheeks. As if his joke about licking things didn’t already spark something in her, then that did. She liked how he joked with her, but she did fear that’s all it was.

β€œWho’s next?” She asked, kind of desperate to move the topic away from that.

Josh's smirk was slightly satisfied. Now he better not get another risquΓ© dare for a while. Maybe he'd settle on picking truth for his next turn in case someone dared him something similar. He noted the way Sky's cheeks became a flushed red, but then again she had consumed a lot of alcohol in the last 10 minutes, so he didn't overthink it.

"Alex. Truth or dare?" Lindsey asked the boy, feeling quite a bit of pressure on her now that the game was going more toward the extremes. Lindsey was also sort of worried about someone asking her to do something like that, so she decided to take the initiative and be the asker. Joshua returned from the sink to his spot next to Sky, about to reach for another nacho but deciding maybe to take a break from those for a while.

Ellie looked up at the boy, anticipating his next answer.

Alex looked up from pouring a rather excessive amount of vodka into a glass, "Uhh, truth." He answered. Sure he loved it when other people did dares but considering he wasn't wanting to have that kind of fun at the moment, he thought it'd be good to stick to truth. The boy looked back down and filled up the remainder of his glass with coke. He leant his back against the wall and took a sip, grimacing ever so slightly and the pungent taste.

He was slightly weary about the truth, being such a private person he wasn't too keen on revealing stuff about himself but this type of truth may be a different kind of personal nature.

Skylar still had her face buried in her drink, annoyed that she became more flushed during Josh's dare than he did. The scene of him licking that chip replayed in her head, as well as his raspier voice and the curls poking out under his beanie. She was so deep into the train of thought that she wasn't paying any attention to the continuation of the game, just glad it wasn't involving her for this part.

Ellie looked over at Skylar, noticing that she had quieted down significantly. Her face was red, and for a moment she was concerned that the girl had maybe drunk too much.

"You okay?" She whispered to the shorter girl, giving her a slight nudge to get her attention.

Lindsey hummed in thought upon hearing him pick truth. She was sort of disappointed that he didn't pick dare, because she could've made him to something crazy like dance or do something sexual like Joshua, but nonetheless thought hard on what to ask. Until it felt like a lightbulb popped up above her head.

"Who would you make out with in this room?" Lindsey posed the question, a mischievous look on her face. If Ellie had ears, they would've perked up; she could feel her heart rate increasing slightly, slightly concerned on what his answer would be. She'd either be satisfied or disappointed. Still, she tried to focus her attention on Skylar instead.

"Don't pick me, dude." Josh said, and though the tone in his voice didn't convey it as much, he was definitely joking. To some extent. He obviously would rather not be picked, considering the feeling would not be mutual, but he felt like it was a given because he assumed Xander wasn't into men. One could never know, but still.

Upon feeling her friends nudge, Sky's train of thought fell off its tracks, though it took her a moment to focus on her friend. "Oh, yeah, I'm okay." She said with somewhat forced smile. She shifted on the spot a little and looked to Xander who was answering Lindsey's question, bringing her glass up to her lips once again and taking a sip. Since Josh had been momentarily eradicated from her mind, her cheeks soon lost all redness.

"Ellie." Alexander replied without thought.

He knew it would cause tension to answer with her name, and well, it wasn't completely false. He would, out of everyone, kiss her in that moment. He had been thinking about it since the girl had answered the same question earlier. It was exciting, he could've been a little boring and used his confidence to avoid the question by replying with 'myself' and holding his arm up as though he was flexing his muscles, but that was only an idea he had on the backburner. Ultimately satisfied with his answer, he sipped the vodka and coke concoction and waited for the reactions of everyone.

Sky certainly wasn't surprised, she was actually kind of happy that he responded with Ellie, it meant that even if it was only the tiniest bit and solely influenced by them being drunk, there was something there, which entertained her and meant she could focus on that rather than Joshua.

Ellie nodded, before quickly returning her attention to Xander, curious as to what he might say. The pessimist inside her started thinking that he'd say Lindsey or Skylar, because they were both unrealistically beautiful, but then a part of her told herself that it shouldn't matter. She held the edge of the counter as she stood there, her balance not being the greatest. Part of her wished they were sitting in Lindsey's living room instead of standing in the kitchen.

Then, Xander said Ellie's name with absolutely no hesitation. She reached a hand up to partially cover her mouth as she let out a small laugh, purely out of nervousness. She shifted a little on her feet, unsure of what to do with herself. Well now there was definitely going to be some unresolved tension between her and Xander. She had a wide, silly smile on her face as she looked up at him, her movements making it obvious that she was not sober.

"Well, i'm flattered." She told him, keeping her cool despite her heartbeat going absolutely crazy. She hadn't had tension like that with someone in a minute.

Joshua was a little surprised.

"Shit's going down." He mumbled to Sky, relieved at least that it didn't involve him. Hell, if he had been asked that question, he definitely would've avoided it, but he assumed that Xander was looking for that kind of tension.

"Truth or dare, Sky?" The boy asked the brunette next to him, leaning sideways against the counter and looking down at her as he awaited an answer.

Xander was taken aback slightly by Ellie's seemingly positive reaction, the wide smile on her face made him wonder if she did feel something for him. But he brushed it off, and simply put it down to her being so drunk. Then again, he was drunk himself so his judgement was most likely way off.

"You should be." He replied, giving her a cheeky wink before taking a large sip of his drink. He did ponder if the girl was actually flattered or if she just said it so there wouldn't be a weird silence between the group. Either way, he was happy with the reaction to his answer.

Sky giggled at Josh's muttered comment, nodding to agree. She was surprised to be asked, so set her drink down and looked at him. "Hmm, sorry to be boring but truth!" She spoke, looking at him. Oh, and he was back in her mind again! Who would've thought? At least this time it was granted since he was talking to her.

Ellie was looking right at Xander, and contained her girly reaction by looking away and focusing her gaze on Skylar, holding back the grin that was threatening to spill across her lips. Then, her gaze shifted to Lindsey, who was already looking back at her with a somewhat mischievous smile. She wiggled her eyebrows at Ellie, who responded by rolling her eyes as she typically did, before turning her attention to the next question that was being posed. Wanting to make it seem like she had something to do, she went on to sip more of her drink, passively drinking it as she listened to Sky and Josh.

"Yeah alright i'll let it slide." Josh waved her off with his hand, before letting out a 'tsk' as he tried hard to think of something. His mind was functioning totally differently now that he was high, but still he couldn't think of something remotely interesting or spicy enough to ask her. So, he went with something incredibly basic.

"Marry, fuck, kill. Go." He told her with a shrug, a clear indication that he had absolutely no clue what else to ask her.

"Oh wow, okay." Skylar replied, it instantly came to mind who she would choose for the fuck option, but she was clueless for the other two for the moments until she answered.

Alex could guess how it would go down, or at least that he'd be the one she would choose to kill. He didn't take it personally by any means, he knew she wouldn't kill the other three so that just left him.

After taking a swig of her drink Sky looked around at her friends, weighing up each of the two remaining options for each person. "Hmm...I suppose I'll marry Ellie, since I know she's not annoying to spend a lot of time with." She teased. Looking at Lindsey she gave a pitiful smile, "Sorry Lindsey, everyone knows you're hot," She moved to look at the brunette boy beside her, "but I'll have to fuck Josh, since I don't want to get between Ellie and Alex." She gave Ellie a nudge followed by a giggle, before she frowned and looked at Alex. "I'm sorry but I'll have to go with kill Alex. You know Lindsey would kill me if I tried to kill her." She added, her drunken words making less sense than usual.

The girl sipped her drink again as she awaited the reactions of her friends. The girl's cheeks did go a little red again, she audibly told everyone that she would fuck Josh, and that was definitely something that flustered her. She hoped Josh didn't take it weirdly, but there was a slim chance of that happening anyway.

Alex chuckled and shrugged in his drunken state, "Fine by me."

Ellie had a grin on her face upon hearing that she was chosen to be married. Not that she had a crush on Skylar, but she was relieved she wasn't put down for 'kill'. She gave Sky a nudge right back upon hearing her justification for choosing Josh as 'fuck', she wasn't annoyed by any means but more surprised that people were still discussing that.

Josh had zoned out slightly, staring into the bowl of nachos, until he heard Skylar putting him down for 'fuck'. His eyebrows lifted up, until he heard her justification. He looked over at Xander for a moment, and then his eyes returned to Sky. He blinked a few times, before picking up a chip and staring at it in thought. She could've said 'fuck' for Lindsey, no? Since she chose to marry Ellie, but realistically she wouldn't actually marry Ellie.

Why was he still staring at the chip? He dunked it in the guac and threw it into his mouth, biting down hard onto the crunchy snack. He wasn't sure why he even cared that much. He hadn't made a snarky comment about her choosing him for 'fuck' yet, so he figured now was the right time for that.

"That the only reason you'd fuck me?" He said, staring into the bowl of chips. Upon realising just how unfiltered that comment was, he looked up ahead of him, pausing his chewing and simply staring off into space as he thought about what the hell he had just said. High Joshua definitely had less of a filter than sober Joshua. When he was sober he was already pretty explicit, but he was different when high. "I'm kidding. Duh." He clarified afterwards, pairing it with a slight chuckle in fear that he had made her uncomfortable.

"Cool so, who's next?" Josh asked, seeing as he had already asked someone.

Sky practically had to force herself to not respond, with a newfound drunk confidence she'd have said no and then gone to say that she'd have chosen him for that anyway. But she had to refrain, and before she could utter even one word of a witty little comeback, Josh had spoken again. It was annoyingly disheartening that he said he was kidding, with the 'duh' making it even worse. But she gave him a playful, light shove and a grin to try and prove that she wasn't uncomfortable. That made Skylar pull her attention from him and look at someone else, clutching her drink in her hand.

Lindsey was very quick to chime in, stepping forward slightly so her presence was more focused on.

"Ellie, truth or dare?" She asked, not leaving even a second for Ellie to respond before continuing. "Dare, cool!" She spoke excitedly and pretended to think for a second, tapping her temple with her pointer finger and cocking her head to the side. "I dare you and Alex to do seven minutes in heaven." Her tone shifted to a more serious one. She knew that technically Ellie and Alex could probably get away with not doing that since Ellie didn't even confirm she wanted a dare, and it wasn't even Alex's turn, but she thought they'd do it since it would ruin the atmosphere not to.

Immediately, Alex put down his drink and reached his right hand over to Ellie's left, gently wrapping his hand around her slender wrist, his large hands covering a substantial portion of her forearm. He ensured not to hold her too tight, loose enough so she could slip her hand out of his grasp if she was uncomfortable.

"Make out time, baby!" He celebrated.

Josh returned the grin, though his edged more on a smirk as it always did, giving him that constant air of mischievousness. He leaned forward onto the counter, reaching into the bowl for the last nacho chip. That was depressing, but he was sure Lindsey had more snacks somewhere. He'd just have to ask her once she was done talking.

"T-" Ellie started, about to say that she wanted a 'truth' since the previous dares were quite intense, but it seemed like Lindsey had other plans in mind. She cocked her head to the side as she looked at the blonde girl. She must've been pretty drunk maybe.

Then, Ellie's eyebrows raised all the way up and her eyes widened. Now that was bound to lead to something. She looked over at Xander to see how he had reacted, but it was clear that he was intending to go through with the dare based on the way he had gently taken a hold of her wrist. She looked up at him, unable to hold her laugh back. Boy was he excited. As she looked at Skylar, her eyes sort of screamed 'help me' but nonetheless she decided to just do it. They didn't have to make out.

"Oh god. Where?" she asked Lindsey, swallowing a little and trying not to act phased by the large hand holding her.

"Bathroom?" She suggested. "Don't forget to lock the door." She whispered, though loud enough for everyone to hear, which defeated the whole purpose. Ellie gave her a look that told her to just shut it. It seemed like Lindsey was far more excited about the whole seven minutes in heaven thing than Ellie. Not that Ellie wasn't excited, but she knew that given the tension between them and their intoxicated state, her heart would be pounding and her stomach would be doing somersaults for the next seven minutes.

Sky was surprised to see Alex so willing, she thought seven minutes in heaven was something he'd detest, but evidently not. He was actually leading Ellie to the bathroom, proving his willingness to do this. Probably more than willing; if Ellie detested against it he would definitely try to convince her.

"I'll set the timer!" Sky giggled and pulled out a white, square timer from one of the kitchen drawers after rooting through a few of them until she found it's location. She hurried to the outside of the bathroom and waited until they'd go inside to start the timer.

The tall boy pulled her into the bathroom gently, a smile still firmly plastered on his face and his hand not letting go of her. He felt a kind of nervous excitement, something he definitely didn't feel often. It was a strange sensation, like he couldn't wait for something to start due to excitement but also like he couldn't wait for it to end. The feeling remained but was dampened when he looked at her, as if he could tell that she felt something a little similar.

Lindsey closed the door once they were both inside. "We'll leave you two lovebirds to get it on!" She laughed.

"Your time starts...Now!" Sky called from outside of the door, as if she were an enthusiastic gameshow host, firmly pressing her thumb on the faded 'start' button on the timer.

Alex pressed his ear against the bathroom door, as if trying to hear whether or not they had total privacy.

Ellie let herself be pulled into the bathroom, and after the door was shut behind them, she just stood in the middle of the bathroom, unsure of what to do. Were the next 7 minutes in the bathroom going to be incredibly awkward? She feared it would get to that point, but luckily they were both rather tipsy so maybe not. By now she had removed her wrist from his hand and approached the mirror, inspecting her face for a moment. Her makeup looked fine, it wasn't smudged. She adjusted the black sweater and then her little skirt, making sure it hadn't hiked too far up her body. She wasn't sure what to say to Alex, so she kept inspecting herself in the mirror until he were to do something.

Joshua didn't feel nearly the same level of excitement as the rest of the girls, and Alex. He remained by the kitchen counter, only shifting his body so he was watching them from afar by the bathroom door. He only let out a slight chuckle, and amid the munchies he was feeling, decided to dip his finger in the guac and then stick it into his mouth. The guac felt smooth in his mouth, and he let out a content sigh. Lindsey then returned from the bathroom, letting out a 'phew'.

"Don't wanna know whats gonna happen in there for the next 7 minutes." She commented, before realising there were no more nachos. "More snacks?" She asked, particularly Josh, who nodded his head in response with his finger still in his mouth. He waddled over to the sink once more to wash his hands as Lindsey reached into one of the cupboards. She pulled out a bag of flaming hot cheetos and tossed them onto the counter.

"Oh, dope. Thanks." He grinned, returning to the counter to rip open the bag and dig in. He held out the bag to Sky, offering her chips.

"You guys wanna go to the living room? I'm tired of standing." Lindsey complained. Quite honestly, she had been tired for at least the past 15 minutes but just didn't want to say anything.

Alex turned around once he was sure the others weren't camping outside of the bathroom door. He stepped over to her and put his face in front of hers, small laughs escaping his mouth every now and then.

"Are you gonna kiss me or am I the one who's going to kiss you?" He asked her, still fully convinced that they'd be making out.

"Thaaank you!" Sky said as she delved her hand into the bag of chips and took a big handful of them, using her other hand to lift individual ones to her mouth so she could eat them.

She then nodded and picked up her drink with her free hand and went to the living room. She set down her drink on a coffee table then slumped to the floor, sitting with her legs criss-crossed whilst she continued to eat. She thought about Alex and Ellie, and how she'd never done seven minutes in heaven before, which just made her wonder if the two of them were actually kissing. Probably not, she thought.

Ellie turned around as she felt him moving toward her, her back pressing up against the sink and her hands gripping the edge of it. His face had never been this close to hers, and despite her drunken state, she noticed details of his face she had never seen before, like the exact shade of his deep brown eyes. For a moment she felt entranced as she looked up at him, her neck craned back from the height difference. But, then she grounded herself back to reality as she processed his request. Reaching up and placing both her hands atop his shoulders, she cocked her head to one side before standing up on her tippy toes to reach his ear.

"Mm.." She hummed softly into his ear. "You're drunk, Xander." She whispered quietly, hinting that she wasn't intending on kissing him tonight.

"Oop." Joshua quietly mumbled as Sky shoved her hand into the chip bag with a little less grace than he expected, causing him to almost drop the entire thing onto the floor. His other hand reached up to stabilise the bag in his grip, knowing Lindsey wouldn't be too happy with a chip mess all across her white tiles. While the two girls made their way toward the living room, Joshua fixed himself a glass of water to bring along with him to the other room, feeling his mouth drying out a little. If Skylar was going to dare him to lick more things, the man had to be hydrated.

He entered the living room with his glass of water and the chips at some point, plopping down onto the floor next to Skylar. Lindsey, too, sat on the other side of the Skylar. It was quiet for a few moments, before Josh chose to speak.

"Truth or dare, one of you?" he asked, not particularly minding who he was asking.

Alex got his hopes up when the pretty girl put her hands on his shoulders, a smile on his face as his eyes closed. He was 100% thinking she was leaning up to kiss him. But when he heard her in his ear, he felt disappointed. Her whispers sent chills down his back, the hairs on the back of his neck standing. His hands moved up slowly to gently rest on either side of her waist, so gently it was as if they were hovering.

He was confused as to why she was telling him what he already knew, he was already upset that their lips weren't locked by now. Holding onto her waist a little firmer, he pushed her ever so slightly back so that he could look at her face to face. "That didn't answer my question." He said, tapping his fingers gently against her body. He felt the warmth of her, appreciating being so close to someone for once.

Sky jumped at the chance to answer, "Mm...Can you give meee a truth?" She asked him before tossing a chip or two into her mouth. She thought it would be more fair on the two in the bathroom if she chose truth, so they didn't miss something overly exciting. Lindsey looked at the two of them, sipping her drink.

A part of Ellie just wanted to jump onto him and kiss him for the next seven minutes and make it really feel like heaven, but a different part of her was worried that she'd regret it in the morning. Not because she didn't think Xander was cute, but because he was part of the friend group. Getting involved with someone from the same friend group, even something as little as kissing, didn't always bring good outcomes. The last thing she wanted to do was cause any turmoil between her and her friends. Besides, her slight attraction toward Alex was completely new, and it had only developed while she was drunk, so she wasn't sure whether she was just looking for a temporary high or genuinely interested in him.

Lost in her thoughts, she let her hands on his shoulders slide down to rest atop his chest. Her actions were doing the complete opposite of what she was thinking. As she leaned back slightly against the sink to look up at him, her eyes relaxed and half-shut, she couldn't help but momentarily gaze at her lips. No. Normal Ellie had to fight drunk Ellie.

Unsure of what to say, she proceeded to toy with the drawstring of his hoodie instead, twirling it between her fingers. "Not now." She told him honestly, her voice a little quieter, unsure of how he would handle that answer. She had experience with boys in the past who reacted very negatively to rejection, as she was sure many girls did unfortunately.

"Alright." Josh agreed, and as he reflected on what to ask her, he popped a few chips in his mouth. His fingertips were already stained red, but he figured he'd just deal with it later. He wasn't particularly interested in putting on another show for Skylar, or eventually he would actually learn what it felt like to be exposed and embarrassed. Speaking of exposed and embarrassed..

"Craziest place you've done it?" He asked out of the blue, leaning back against the bottom portion of the couch as he gazed at Skylar with tired eyes.
