Anime & Manga SAO

BlacklegSanji

Cook of the Thousand Sunny
I just created this for the sake of the fact that sword art online has a massive amount of fans, myself being a huge fan, and it has become a big title among animes and the lite novels have become more and more popular in the past years so I figured I would start a little discussion on the anime.

Also along with that SAO season 2 has recently been announced and personally I cannot wait. I so hyped up when I first heard I was Like YAAAAAAAAAY. I you don't believe me here, this site even has a link to the SAO website showing the same video. Also if you look at the wiki here, on Sinon's character page and look down on the side where it has character information and a picture you scroll down to where it says media and it says Voiced By (Japanese)- Sawashiro Miyuki, this suggest a second season is coming out, I mean why else would they need voice actors.

So please post in this thread as you please and discuss your thoughts on SAO, whether they are positive or negative, and the new season that will be coming out this year.

SAO has quite a large fanbase here in RPN, I myself took part in a great RP some time back in the SAO world. I am happy to hear that there is a second season coming and I find that I can't wait for it to get here. I haven't read the lite novels yet but I plan to.

I love SAO, And i really hope they do an amazing job with this season as they did with the last.

DAT SOUNDTRACK MAN ALL THE FEELS

The Soundtrack is amazing. Sword Art Online is in fact one of the first Animes I actually enjoyed since Yu-Gi-Oh! Looking for SAO Roleplay, having trouble finding a good one that isn't crowded though

yay, any ways I forgot to edit this post but I thought the it was released on June the 5th not July the 5th.... so my bad.

I like SAO, but I felt disinterested in the second half of the first season. It seems like the series should have ended with Asuna and Kirito dying after saving the survivors of the game. That could have been a good ending, it made me cry. Not to offend anyone! The Fairies half was alright, however it didn't seem as well executed as the first half. Since I'm watching the show on Netflix I could only imagine watching the second season on time. I hope it was just a good as the first season, though. I still will be planing to watch the show despite the final parts of the first season.

Pretty much my opinion on the show right here. I totally grew bored of the second half(Yui was the only saving grace and even she wasn't there that much).

Thirded.

The second half was dissappointing. They had a great feel up until they got out. I thought the put a weird ending of almost gainax proportions (see tv tropes': gainax ending) They tried to extend if for some reason. I would have been much better without it. I watched the last half strictly because i wanted to finish the series, whereas the first half I really enjoyed.

I do however, LOVE all the little individual worlds that were created at the end. I feel like a hacker should layout a conspiracy in which the characters have to travel to and complete tasks in the variety of different worlds in order to put an end to it......Rp Idea?

Not sure if I did this right... I'm still a newbie....

I liked the the fact SAO barely have any filler episodes.. Until they reached the end. They are still important, but not as the first half. Thus, I call the second half fillers. It felt like they were rushed to do that.

Ma'am you've just saved the series. How about each character has a parallel game universe they'll have to complete individually. Also the hacker rewires the mind-frying capabilities of the Netgear too. However the characters can visit each other at certain checkpoints in the game, for a matter of seconds to hours. That would be good.

I love SAO. Even though I've been shown many flaws in the story, I don't care, I still liked the show and I can't wait for season 3 coming in July! ^•^

The anime is okay, in my opinion.

I feel like it could've been better executed and made more exciting to watch.

Also, the trapped in SAO part should've lasted the entire anime. Regardless, I still plan to watch season 2. :)

I'm a huge fan but didn't know how large the fan base was. This is awesome. I take back the huge fan part becasue I haven't finished the first season but I'm almost there. I'm that dude who puts animes on a watch list and lets them gather dust. I gotta get out of that bad habit.

I love Sao, I even play the Weiss Schwartz card game deck variant..I think I'm addicted @-@

I love SAO and I don't really see why it is all that bad unless that it was "too slow" but I deal with that stuff all the time so I'm used to it X)

It wasn't slow to me, it seemed decently paced
