Bio: her mother died when she was young and her aunt and uncle took her father and her into their home. Then the drinking started. Her father started to drink and gamble. That led to the aggression and hostility. Mitsuko's father began to be extremely rude to her and once even beat her when Mitsuko turned 15. When her aunt found out she kicked her father onto the streets of Japan. From then Mitsuko led a normal life, when she turned 18 she got a scholarship to the University of Tokyo for a degree in theater and directing. Her father is constantly trying to mooch off of Mitsuko through bribing her for money for his gambling and drinking habits. It often upsets Mitsuko deeply.

Leaning away from guilds as he thinks they waste time, he is seen as a loner, traveling alone clearing floors and having next to no trouble. However, Mikey is actually a guy who loves to joke once he is with someone. Taking nothing serious inside a safe zone can create a very wrong picture of himself, as in the field the boy is very serious, taking nothing lightly. He is also one to not turn down a challenge, always pushing himself to the limit and hates to lose. His one true wish is to solo a floor boss.

Being in a family of gamers, Mike had to be good in order to survive. He had to win to get out of doing the dishes. Had to be competitive to win. Had to win to get out of doing the laundry. It all went round in one big circle. His family saw Mike as some kind of freak, as he was always rather good. A prodigy in fact. So, seeing this, he began to stream, mainly mmorpgs, taking various people on under the name 'Abyss'. He never lost a duel on camera, nor was there a loss on his record. Some people loved him, overs hated him. So, some began to make fake accounts, trying to tarnish his reputation. In the end, Abyss just stopped. The real one, not the fakers. For years, he no longer streamed. However, he saw SAO coming out and felt like he had to play it, maybe try and record a video. It was his duty. However, he wanted the experience everyone else would get, meaning he turned down the offer to become a beta tester. Another year passed and it came out. Quick, he made an account and went right to grinding, making sure he would get his levels up. Then, the incident happened. And from then, he has spent everyday trying to be the best once more.

Weapon of Choice:

Twin rapiers which he duel wields.

To hold off on people, he will use a one handed broadsword made of pure Stalectorite Silver (made it up if that's okay.) He also knows of the glitch, meaning he uses the one handed weapon more often then not.

Other:

Is very reluctant in people realizing who he is after receiving a few death threats from some viewers years back. Now, they can go through with it.

Has no problem with killing other members for the greater good.​
