After the tragedy of Sword Art Online, thousands of previous VRMMORPG players have been released. Soon, a new game is released, known as GSO; Gun and Sword Online.

GSO has many new features from the original game SAO, such as an automatic quest generator known as The Cardinal, custom weapon creation, guilds, and sword skills. Although this new game takes many aspects from the original game, SAO, it also adds new features. Some of these features include: mob taming, guns, jobs, and in game - real life currency trading.

Alice started down the path that lied in front of her. There was no one around her and no sign of directions, so she wandered around until she found the weapon store. There were all sorts of weapons, most of them Alice was able to buy because she put real life money into the game. She picked a well-known sniper named as the M82 Barret, two Five-Sevens for good measure, and a couple packs of ammo. As she was walking to the cash register, someone in line pulled a gun out on an employee. Alice's natural instinct was to try and shoot the attacker, but maybe making herself known was not the way to go in this game. Instead Alice called the in game police. It stood out a lot less, but it was still enough to save the person at the register.

Soon, the police arrived and got rid of the criminal. The cash register thanked Alice for saving his life, and as a reward gave her the two weapons for free. Alice quickly thanked the cash register for the offer but still payed. She soon left the store and sat on a nearby bench.

I walked through the market with my sword on my back. While I was walking I noticed the game police running to the weapons store so I followed them. What I saw was pretty normal for this game. A noob player trying to rip off the gun man because he can't work for the money. Though what surprised me was the girl that got two free guns from the man.

After she got the weapons and left I followed her and introduced myself. "Hi my name Markus, but you can call me Ark as it is my in game name. Though if you want to call me Markus I am okay with that." I then flash a lopsided grin.

Alice, not wanting to talk, antisocially responded with: "What do you want?". She already had been having a long day and she didn't need boys to go along with it.

"Wow just trying to be friendly, but if you don't want to talk I will just do a mission by myself then." I start to walk away while sending a party and friend invite to Alice.

Matt was finally ready to immerse into his favorite game after a long day of real life. He laid down on his bed and put on the helmet to disappear into his virtual world. When he arrived he was spawned in the middle of a town. He grinned and looked down at his belt where his two guns was strapped on. Time to get into the better reality.

He lifted his index to see if there were any good missions going on. He overheard a guy talking about it. In the normal world he probably wouldn’t have spoken to a stranger, but in here he didn’t mind. “Hey, what mission are you thinking of talking, dude?” he asked him with lifted finger. Maybe he knew some good ones.

"Fine." Alice responded. She needed to complete some quests anyways. Accepting the party invite she asked Markus "What's the quest?".

Oh I was talking about the Criminal guild capture mission. All we have to do is either capture or kill the criminal guild and we get a really big reward.

Matt nodded. “Sounds cool, mind if I join you guys?” he asked them. “I’m Matt.”

Alice was intrigued. "Sounds good. This doesn't mean I like you or anything.".

Readying her sniper, she said "Let's go finish this."

Yeah you can join Matt, I say as I send an invite. Oh and you guys can split the cash. I don't need the cash so you guys can have it.

"finally" Salem said after logging in "it seems like forever since i have been here" she stretched then walked into town. "i guess this is the town i was told to go to" she said as she looked at a message from a friend. she was'int really paying attention of were she was going but she was pretty good at dodging people so she did'int care much that she was reading directions and walking around town.

Across the city in a quiet alley, two men staggered drunkenly out of a bar and into the day. One shouted merrily back into the bar, "Keep a 'nother bott'la joy fer nex' week, Carl! See ya then!" The bartender smiled and gave a warm wave in response, as was the trio's tradition of sorts.

The two in the alley started toward the main road, bantering about this and that, until one of them noticed the time. He instantly sobered. "Aw, shit, Dom, my wife's gonna kill me if she finds I stayed up all night drinking in-game. I don't know why she's so persistent about me going to that dead-end job of mine. I make more money questing with you than in that hellhole... but whatever. I love her. Catch you later, bro." He extended a fist toward his friend.

Dominik responded by bumping the fist with his own. "We all do crazy things for love. Give her a kiss for me~" The two chuckled as the salaryman logged out, fading into nothingness and leaving Dominik alone on the street. He drew a bottle of water from his inventory and drained it as he considered his next action. Drunken questing sounded like a good idea, but the real question was whether he should do a solo quest or join a party.

His mind refused to give him an answer, so he finished his water bottle. Drained of its uses, it began to disintegrate as he tossed it aside. Upon contact with the ground it shattered into a puff of cyber shards which faded into nothingness. Dom's attention was on his heads-up display, which was displaying both the quest tracker and the looking for group windows. "What to do..." he mused idly as he scrolled through both, seeing what was available and what was popular.

((Whether your party shows up on the LFG is up to you guys. I can goof off if you're full up.))
