- Prelude"That’s right, witches exist. And it’s not like we just exist.......I mean, we’re fucking thriving.
Look at us, for fucks sake; our coven is bigger than ever and more prominent in like every aspect of life in this town. And sure, it’s not like as big as it was back before the trials, but it’s getting there. We get new recruits almost every year now, and Elena says that we’re probably going to have to expand to more than one source of magic in the next couple of years, which is like a really good thing.......I think?
Oh, and you know Martha? Yeah, so it turns out that she wasn’t actually pregnant, just really stressed out because of exams or whatever, so I guess that’s another really good thing. She would’ve gotten an abortion anyway, but I think this is obviously a clear sign that luck is on our side, finally. I know that if I had to listen to her stress-crying one more time while hanging from the ceiling of all places, I probably would’ve lost it.
Speaking of exams, literally all of the girls—or like all but one or two—got into schools and colleges they wanted without Elena having to pull a single one of her persuasion stunts. And, I mean, persuasion powers? How fucking cool and handy is that to have? If I didn’t have my powers, I would be pretty jealous of her. I genuinely don’t know how some of the other girls aren’t going gray. From like sheer jealousy, you know?
I don’t even know why I’m telling you this, you’ll just forget it anyways. I guess I’m worried that something is coming. And I’m talking more like an impending doom sort of situation, not like the comeback of studded belts—although, I guess that is a big problem on its own as well. I don’t know, I can just feel it in the back of my head, like a headache that just won’t go away. I think I’ll have a premonition today, probably.

- PlotlineAfter the odd disappearance of Rebecca Padden, a witch with powers of premonition and manifestation, the entire Coven of East Massachusetts—or more commonly recognized as Coven of Salem—is on edge. As everyone can feel a shift happening with something new looming just below the horizon, tensions are only beginning to rise, and it is almost a certainty that the already-hectic lives of the witches in Salem are about to get a lot crazier.
Despite the past unfortunate events and however many more of the same kind might be coming, 6 young witches in the coven are more than happy to continue living their lives in the fashion befitting youthful witches—grabbing life by the balls, chasing their dreams and goals, and thriving no matter the circumstances.
LoreCoven of Salem – Collection of 35+ witches of all ages living in or around the town of Salem, working together to exchange knowledge and culture, and to ensure that life remains peaceful for them and other supernatural creatures in and around east Massachusetts.
Witch – A woman/girl with a connection to the supernatural that manifests itself as a specific and somewhat unique ability or power. Different witches have different abilities/powers which aren’t interchangeable/learnable—a witch is brought into the world with their power.
Power – A collection of abilities connecting to a certain element/aspect/part of life and nature. This collection often has abilities of different difficulties (E.g. talking to animals, controlling animals, metamorphosing into an animal). More on this later.
Magic Source – Every coven pulls the magical potential for their abilities from somewhere (usually a single source). This can be something as simple as praying on ley lines or something more grim like human sacrifices to the devil. The stronger the magic source, the stronger the witches in the coven (the witches have an easier time manifesting their abilities). The source is usually protected by a council of witches or by the leader of the coven to ensure there aren't any odd happenings around the source.
- Rules
- Bullying, bigotry, and out of character drama are not welcome in this roleplay and will not be tolerated. Any issues that you may have with another person in the roleplay should be handled in between the two parties or through me (both ways with utmost respect and dignity).
- This will not be first come, first serve. Only the characters most fitting for the roleplay will be accepted into the main cast (5 spots). The amount of side characters accepted is (at this time) unlimited, however, the side characters still have to make sense with the setting and the story or they will not be accepted.
- All OOC talk will be taking place over Discord. If you’re interested in being part of this roleplay, having a Discord account is a requirement.
- This will be a literate roleplay. What this means is that one-liners will not be accepted as responses. At least two paragraphs of text will be expected of you per response. That being said, as long as you move the scene along with your post, and give your partner/s something to work with, you’re golden.
- A certain level of activity will be expected of you if you want to be part of this roleplay. A post/reply/response every two days will be the minimum. It is understandable that real life comes in the way, and if circumstances lead you to the inability to follow this rule 100% of the time, that is completely fine, however, if you know that you will not post at the frequency specified, please do not apply.
- All RPNation rules apply.

- Make sure to show your interest by replying to this thread. The more interest this thread generates, the better chances the roleplay has of lifting off the ground.
- Make sure to keep up with the thread for any updates that are to come such as a character sheet thread or a Discord server link.
- If this thread gets at least a few people interested, I will make the Discord server and the character sheet thread and will tag the people who've shown interest.
- In case you already have an idea for a character, story, or anything of the sort, please do share your ideas with us, I know I would love to hear what your creative mind came up with, plus, it might inspire someone else as well.
- In case you have any questions about anything Salem B*tch Trials related, or are confused by something in the interest thread, feel free to ask and I'll answer to the best of my ability.
