Seo walked, or, limped to the canteen, sitting down next to Maru. "How can you eat a steak on its own? You have to have a side dish, right?" She shrugs, picking it up from Maru's plate with her bare hands and took a huge bite out of it. "Oh.. Alright, it is pretty good."

"You didnt wash your hands did you." Maru said as she took out her pack of Hygenic Wipes. "There. Wipe your hands... You will get really sick." Maru handed Seo one.

"Oh.. Oops." She put it down, taking the wipe off her and wiping her hands. Seo stood up from the chair, leaning on it. "Do you want a race with me?" She starts smirking at Maru, hoping she will agree.

"Wait... Sports? But... Seo senpai... I... Don't do sports. In fact, I HATE sports. Sorry." Maru's fur stood on the end and she sweated. Sports, one of her biggest fears.


"And plus, You've get this terrible bruise on your leg. I study Med, so... You want me to help? Like, bandage it? It is going to get infected soon since you move and run so much. Iv'e got a bunch if supplies in my dorm."

Seo grinned, ignoring what she had just said. "Yay! Let's go then!" She picks her up and lays her down in her arms, running as fast as she can to the running track and locking the gate behind herself. "Aha, now you can't escape if you lose!" Seo puts Maru down on the ground and walks over to the track competitively. "Come over here, then."

"WOAH!!! BUT SEO SENPAI!!!" Maru yelled as Seo put her down on the track. This is a horrifying place to Maru. But she knows that she will have to race the injured Seo to escape. "Seo senpai? Are you sure that your leg can bare this?" She tried to use her tail to cover up her tearing eyes. "Right. Just... one lap. Oh and Senpai? Promisecme to come to my dorm and get your leg fixed after this." Maru then set theready pose, worried about Seo's leg.

"Okay, okay." Seo laughs, starting to blush. "And er.. It isn't my leg that's injured. I'm afraid I'll have to fix it myself." She states, getting ready to run. "Are you ready? 3, 2, 1, GO!" Seo starts running around the track, checking behind her to see if Maru has started yet.

Maru hesitantly started running-but on her four legs. It didn't make a single noise. Hertail got into her mouth again. She didn't care. She just wanted this to be over.She closed her eyes, and ran with all her might.

Seo continues running, and finally makes it to the end of the track. "I WIN!" She jumps up and down with her fist formed in the air. "You lose! Loser! I'm the winner! Loser! YOU LOSE!" 'Oh yeah, oh yeah. I win.' Seo thought to herself, then turned around to see Mari struggling. "Are you okay?"

"No... Not another deja vu..." Maru mumbled. Her brother once somehow died... while a Marathon. She was running behing him when he kinda had a seizure and died. "No... Oni-San..."

"Eh? What's the matter?" Seo runs over to her, trying to calm her down. She picks her up and sits her down on a bench, kissing her cheek to try and make her feel better since she didn't know what else to do. "W-what's wrong?"

"No...Nothing..."Maru wiped her tears off with her tail and forced a grin on her face, but quickly loses the hold of it and cries again.

"Come on, tell me. Don't cry." Seo takes out a handkerchief from her pocket and wipes Maru's eyes. "You can tell me. I promise I won't tell anyone, ever."

I tried to stop it... I was still 5 back then. Other runners just passed, leaving me and dead Oni on the center of the trail.

She uncontrollably hugged Seo tight.


 
"My brother died while a Marathon. A seizure"

"O-oh.. I'm sorry." Seo hugs her and tries to comfort her by kissing her forehead-she didn't really know what else to do other than that, seeing as her brothers all did the same to her when she was upset. "Sorry that I made you do this. I just.. Like winning things, that's all."

"Not at all." Seo lifted her up, unlocking the gate and walking to the first year's dorms. Many of the first year students stared at the tall Seo, carrying the seemingly short Maru. Some of them even laughed to see something so weird. Finally she arrived at Maru's dorm and opened the door, laying her down on her bed. "Do you need anything else?"

Sora sighed as she stared outside of the window out of her dorm room. " So bored. " She mumbled to no one but herself. Sighing she had gotten up and exited her dorm. Passing various people that were way taller than Sora who was only 5'2 almost 5'3. A few seconds had passed and she had made it outside, sitting at a bench. Sora had observed everything around her, " Looks like nothing really changed. " She had thought to herself before getting more comfortable sitting at the bench.

Maru lied down on her bed. When Seo was about to leave, Maru stopped her:"Im sorry, but.. Would you... stay and game with me? Oni-Chan used to do that when I was depressed. It always cheered me up." Maru sobbed.


 
"I bought a bunch of games before I settled in Sakura."Maru slid open her drawer and revealed a huge collection of games.
