History:
Seraphine’s parents were killed by other Moroi who wanted to become strigoi. It’s unclear why the Dragomir line was targeted however a family of other Moroi attacked along side a few strigoi taking out Seraphine’s parents and their families guardians. This news left their world in complete shock as the Dragomir’s have always been loved along side many of the other royal families. Thankfully the attack had happened while Seraphine and Kenna were away at school other wise they would have been killed as well. After this Seraphine was assigned two adult guardians to protect her while at school like any head of the royal family receives. Her sister was also given a fully assigned guardian at the school after this happened. It’s unclear if any of the other Dragomir family had survived however there has been no news from them and all that was left at the scene was dead bodies, a fight scene, and blood everywhere. It’s presumed that the Dragomir line is close to finished unless Sera and Kenna are able to survive and have children later on.
Personality:
Seraphina is a kind, caring, and very playful she often wins people over with just her own charm. She really enjoys reading and writing often creating small books for herself not wanting others to ever read them. Though she can also have a brutal side about her not one to easily allow taunts and threats just go by. She is very proud of her family name and tried her best to live up to it now as the head of the family. Though she often feels very lonely the powers she holds not helping in the matters at times it feels like they will consume her. She wants to try and enjoy her time while also learning to fight not wanting to be weak any longer.
Notes:
Seraphine’s compulsion is extremely strong. She’s able to make others see illusions or hallucinations while also making them bend completely to her will. She is also able to dream walk and use several of the other spirit abilities with them not being as strong as her compulsion abilities. She also has a very strong connection with animals.
Highly skilled with the violin, cello, and piano. She prefers the violin and plays it more often then the other two. She also has a wonderful singing voice however no one outside of her family ever learned this.
When Seraphina was first coming into her powers and not understanding what was happening with her. She would harm herself to the point of passing out. Now that could involve drinking, drugs, or other forms of bodily harm to just make the mental pain go away. She’d often keep it all to herself not wanting anyone to know what was going on with her. Since she’s a Royal and a Dragomir at that she tried to keep up a perfect appearance.

Now that she knows what’s going on she relies on her friends more for support and has allowed her true self to be out a bit more.

A man with a mask his face always hides his true emotions the only time to seem visible is within his eyes. A darkness lives inside him a hate for himself and the strigoi. He works hard to battle his inner demons and keep a straight face while hanging out with friends. He seems to joke around and be just fine most the time. A temper flares under the surface always ready to come out sometimes he can keep it reigned in and other times he can’t. He often takes his anger out on punching bags during training however has been known to get into multiple fights. As his temper continues to grow in him he’s decided to seek help from some of his instructors letting them know what’s going on. He wants to be a guardian more then anything so he’s trying his best to achieve that goal.
He’s more calm and reserved most the time. However he has a very short temper which he’s working on controlling. He’s use to people trying to say things about where he grew up and it often leads him to getting into fights.

    Alicia is a kind, yet quiet girl. She's never been one to get overly excited, a calm demeanor tends to be her defining feature. She also doesn't speak unless she feels it necessary to share her thoughts. If she doesn't have anything meaningful to say, she finds it simpler to just keep quiet. This can make her replies well thought out, especially when it comes to heated discussion, but don't confuse her thoughtfulness with intelligence.
    
    Alicia isn't the smartest of folk, instead choosing to focus on creative pursuits. This impacts her intellectual conversations and grades quite a bit. She's found that it's easy for people to think you are smart when you are eloquent.
    
    As far as flaws go, Alicia has quite a few. If you wrong her or her family, she can be very resentful. While her composure continues, she will no doubt insult or simply ignore those she dislikes. She can be a bit morbid as well, after the death of her parents she has a pessimism and general distrust of people.     Alicia and her sister Shayla grew up as any Moroi royals would. It was an unusual predicament, but they were loved.
    
    It was a day like any other when the girls' life changed forever. Alicia was thirteen, just coming into her own when her parents were slain in front of her and her sister.     Andre is a rather stoic person, who doesn't understand people very well. He doesn't interact with other much, and he isn't great at understanding social rules. He is straight to the point and has never been someone to pretend he likes you. He's also rather intelligent and strategic, so he speaks quite eloquently, despite his awkwardness. He can be quite hot-headed, especially when it involves the other dhamphirs and refuses to back down. He is an advocate for peace, but will use violence to get there.
    
    Andre rarely smiles, as he "refuses to put on a facade in order to make those around him feel more comfortable". He doesn't show emotion in general, unless it is anger. When he is genuinely sad, he will just leave the area, so no one will see his weakness. He also rarely gets genuinely excited, as he just filters that emotion into contentment. The only real things he feels on a regular basis are contentment and anger.

    To be entirely honest, Andre, Yasmin, and Isaiah were born of a blood whore and her moroi boyfriend. Their father led her on for years, until the kids were toddlers, then left her in order to find some fresh blood. The McKeons barely remember him and it's caused some damage on their relationship with morois in their later years.
    
    Despite the hatred Andre felt for Morois growing up, he quickly found himself becoming closer with one. A royal in fact, named Gavriel. The two became friends during childhood, but it was when they were around thirteen he began to have feelings for the moroi. Of course, he didn't want to end up like his mother so he kept those feelings to himself, instead just becoming her silent protector. He figured talking would ruin everything they had, so he just...stopped.
    
    Around one or two years ago, the two friends were hanging out when they suddenly heard a howling. Telling his superior (Gavriel) to run, Andre acted as the human shield while she presumably got away. The psi hound tore him apart completely and though Gavriel brought him back from the dead, some scars can't be healed. This is what created their bond.
    
    Now that Gavriel is with Beau, Andre doesn't know what to do. He can feel the things that she feels and it tears him up, knowing she will never feel that way for him.     Yasmin is a very guarded person, rarely letting people get past the wall of snarky comments and standoffish behavior. That being said, she doesn't exactly hide who she is. She is a very opinionated person and tends to let those opinions be known, if they won't put her family in danger. That's really the first trait anyone can glean from her, is that her family means everything to her. She is incredibly protective of her mother and brothers, though she worries that Andre is too far lost to them. She will always sacrifice herself to help her family and often changes her own behaviors in order to do what she deems best for them. She is most certainly the caregiver and sees it as her job. You can always count on her to know where her brothers are and what they are doing (they can't be trusted, while mom can).
    
    To those who don't know her well, Yasmin's personality seems very simple. She's almost like a guard dog, confrontational, loyal, and following her brother's orders. Ha, if they only knew. In all actuality, Yasmin is incredibly intelligent. She tends to avoid applying herself though, seeing school as useless due to her lack of a future. So, she occasionally purposefully fails as well. She figures it is better to be underestimated. However, you can occasionally catch her speaking about a plan she's come up with or something she read, before she remembers who and where she is and shuts down again.
    
    In all honesty, Yas is a sweet, intelligent girl who is absolutely terrified of being vulnerable. So, she lashes out. Pushes people away. Screams until her throat is hoarse. She's pessimistic and stubborn; she tries to pretend she's so broken there is no fixing her. If you look under the layers of fear and guilt, you'll see that she's just fucking terrified. If she convinces herself she's the monster, that she is why everything goes wrong, then she can control it.     To be entirely honest, Andre, Yasmin, and Isaiah were born of a blood whore and her moroi boyfriend. Their father led her on for years, until the kids were toddlers, then left her in order to find some fresh blood. The McKeons barely remember him and it's caused some damage on their relationship with morois in their later years.
    
    Yasmin maintained this rather chilly relationship with morois until she was fourteen, when she met Livia. Livia was a typical moroi, with a slender frame, pale skin, and straight black hair going down to her hips. Yasmin was immediately drawn to the etheral looking teen. And the feeling was mutual. Within a month after meeting, Livia had changed Yas's entire worldview. Suddenly, she found light in the darkness. She felt pride in her ability to protect the woman she loved (yeah, love within a month we're disney love storying this bitch).
    
    In retrospect, things started to change around the six month mark, which just so happened to be Livia's birthday. The moroi had been hinting for the past month that the gift she wanted wasn't exactly typical. So, when her birthday came around, Livia was disapointed to learn that her girlfriend was not willing to give up her blood as a birthday present. From there on, it was casual, passive aggressive comments. Of course, Yas ignored it. After all, Livia is very clearly settling for her, so why should she compromise their relationship over a small issue? Over time, it got worse and worse. To the point where they had begun arguing about it constnatly. But she wasn't willing to lose her first love over it.
    
    The dam finally broke on Yas's little brother, Isaiah's thirteenth birthday. Yas walked in to her brother's room, excited to be as annoying as possible on his special day. And somehow, Livia was there, without being invited. She had cornered the young boy and immediately, the fear and anger in his eyes was obvious. Isaiah never fully revealed what was said that day, but from what he told his sister later on, she was able to gather that her then girlfriend was attempting to scare the boy into convincing his sister to give up her blood. He never spoke about what she actually said or did however.
    
    Yasmin immediately grabbed the moroi and pulled her into another room, where the two argued for a short time. Then, Livia was gone. And Yasmin broke. Then, adding Yasmin's past relationship on top of that, it's no surprise that Isaiah began resenting them. Since the twins' individual crises around their relationships with Morois, he's seen their superiors as monsters willing to take advantage of a man's feelings and life for their own gain.

  Brief history: Finn was left at his father's doorstep and raised into the Dhampir lifestyle just about as much as any other kid. At first, he idolized his old man and wanted to be just like him out of a sense of duty. That devotion waned as the years went on, feeling less like an honor and more like a heavy mantle meant to steal his life away from him. He had nowhere else to go though, no idea what the outside world might hold for him or whether he'd survive even a day. While he wasn't all that close with him, Finn didn't hesitate to admit his feelings to his father who didn't seem surprised in the least. He'd been exactly the same way and offered him a bit of advice to cope with the feeling of loss: Make the most of school. Make mistakes and memories to last a million lifetimes. It got him through for the most part, but with graduation looming in his future Finn doubts that any memories will be enough to make him feel any better.

    Elle grew up living about two hours from the Academy in a blood whore den. As far as she could remember, her mother was always a blood whore, letting in random Moroi of any kind to eat. When she was old enough, her mother shipped her off to the Academy without a second thought, leaving what Elle considered to be parentless. Her mother definitely didn't care much for her, always having a baby in one arm and Moroi sucking off her neck at the same time. Most of her siblings all had different fathers and she had no clue who her own father was. In turn, she vowed to never be like her mother, focusing on becoming a Guardian.
    
    Being a Guardian didn't sound so much like a bad idea. There wasn't enough women dhampir guardians out there and Elle wanted to make a difference in that.     Alek is a sarcastic, aloof, and arrogant Moroi who was raised with a silver spoon in his mouth. While he was not a royal, his family still grew up to be particularly wealthy with successful business endeavors. As an only child, his parents have extremely high standards for him, expecting him to be just as successful or to marry into one of the royal families. Underneath the rough exterior of unpleasantness, Alek is actually rather soft-hearted, clever, and compassionate. While he struggles with keeping up to school results and his parents expectations, he still manages to be nice enough to friends close to him.     Supernatural Beauty - Moroi are known to be highly attractive. They are immensely beautiful, slim, and tall; their skin is pale. However Moroi Do not need to have all of theis features
    Hunger Resistance - Moroi do not have to kill in order to feed, unlike Strigoi who always kill their bite victims, and instead feed in small non-lethal increments.
    Compulsion - Moroi are able to control the minds of humans, dhampirs, and other Moroi to certain degree through eye contact and verbal commands. Spirit users are the strongest in this ability.

Brief personality: Laurence is an emotional being at heart. He struggles to regulate strong emotions, especially ones of discomfort. He's hyper controlled in his responses and holds everything in and very rarely breaks down to let it out which leads to him being as tense as a board constantly.
Brief history: Emerson was the second born, and as a result tended to get most of the blame, especially when Laurence came around. His needs were rarely met, yet everything his brothers did. He was usually the goal of the beatings, regardless if Laurence managed to distract from him enough to take it for him. Emerson was 9 when they were finally given a new home, though he has never gotten over the fear that one day his new parents won't want him and will send him away.
