The building was quite as everyone waited for any new people that were coming and getting ready for them. The sun wasn't very bright so the curtains were pulled back on all the windows. There were not many kids that stayed at Saint Mary's because they always found somewhere else to go once they weren't considered a big problem anymore. There are a few that had been there for a while though.

Miss Alice was running back and forth trying to make sure that everything was going to go perfect for the new people they would be getting. She was excited for he opportunity to help people, but still understood that they needed help for a reason. She looked into the TV room and saw Aimi sitting there staring out the window with the same look she had the day she stopped talking. Her stare was blank and quite scary to someone who wasn't use to looking at it. Alice hoped that this group of kids would help Aimi come out of her rut and talk again.

Aimi heard Miss Alice walk into the room, but she chose to not pay attention to her. She was watching a bird outside that had gotten stuck in the barbed wire above the fence. The bird had torn its wing and tail feathers and was struggling around when it finally fell out of the wire. It couldn't fly anymore, but Aimi really wasn't concerned with it. It was just a bird; afterall, what use was it to her. She slowly looked over her shoulder at the door as Alice walked out and back ino the hallway. She was trying to get everything ready, but Aimi knew it would be just like it was with every group they get.

Fuyuku stood at the door of the building, hesitant to enter. She pulled out a mirror to see if there was any chance that the redness from her crying eyes had subsided--Of course they hadn't. Then, out of nervousness, probably or because of the flu she'd been having for the past few weeks, she turned and threw up right in front of the building. She cursed under her breath and smashed the mirror on the concrete before knocking on the door

I don’t remember much, in fact . . . I don’t remember anything. I just know the only one, thing, that has always been there for me is my Usa-san. People see him as nothing more than a toy, but in truth he’s my best friend in the whole world. The last few days, the world has been nothing more than a shuffle, men in suits, random homes with random people, then a repeat. No one seems to want me, and I’m unsure I want anyone myself. Now I’m told I will be sent to a place where many children go, where I can be around more of my type. The meaning of that eludes me even now, no one seems to understand, in truth . . . I just wish to fade away from this mad world.

Noel would have been escorted with a female police officer. Not that she was dangerous persay just that they seemed to be the ones who always ended up with her again. Family after family had returned her after a break down, or her refusal to give up that toy of hers. The child merely followed silently behind the cop, clutching tightly to her pink rabbit as the paper work was done. Not a word was exchanged; she hadn’t made a connection with anyone since that tragic day.

Her eyes wouldn’t even roam the room, as long as it was an open area she wouldn’t care. When the cop left . . . she was a bit lost at what to do, but merely stood there never the less. Her eyes trailing to her bunny she gave a small smirk and laugh as if it might have said something funny.

Alice opened the front door and looked at the two girls. "I'm so happy to see you both. Welcome. My name is Alice and I am the owner. Now come on in, and we will sit you down and let you ge used to your surroundings."

She led them around to the TV room where Aimi was sitting and smiled, "You two just relax and we will get to all the introductions in just a minute. Would you like fresh juice or anything?" There was a time that happened every group of kids that came in. Getting them use to the new place and all the people. Alice was a veteran at the war with these children, and she had been doing this for years. Some children were different, but the majority of them would handle the change in a decent way.

Fuyuku shook her head quietly when Miss Alice offered if she wanted something to drink. She stood near the window and gazed at it blankly. Then, she felt her hands creep up to her stomach. She felt something wrong... It can't be what I think it is. she muttered to herself but what if it is...

Noel of course entered, seeming to ignore the woman. In her eyes, the woman would only be nice for a few days before sending her away like the many before her did. Instead she would hold out her bunny slightly as if letting him have a good view of the room. Pulling him back as if to listen to something he had to say. Her little head nodded in responds and she would walk off, studying her new temporary home. "It's not nice to make bets like that Usa-San." She commented as she walked around the room, seeming to just circle it, as if not willing to settle in one spot as of yet, commenting off and on to her pink rabbit as she did so. "That's not a very nice thing to say."

Alice watched the kids walk around and she saw the way they were acting. She knew that they weren't too happy about the place they were going to be living. "I'll go check the rooms and make sure each of you has a room. We don't keep a lot of them open because kids sometimes don't stay here long. I'll go check and then be right back. Don't get into trouble while I'm gone." She snickered to herself and walked out of the tv room. She headed to the right and went down the hall with the rooms to make two of them up for the new girls.

Aimi looked away from the very thing she was looking at to look at the girls. She gave the same blank stare that she had given everyone for years. Her pretty eyes just looked glazed over as she stared at them. She frowned and turned away from them and stated at the corner of the room and wasn't sure that these girls had anything that was of use to Aimi. There was no reason to interact with them if they couldn't help her for some reason. She had a thing about using people, and she didn't really care if it hurt hem. The doctor said it was part of her 'disease', and that it would be alright. They told her that she would eventually get over it.

Fuyuku sat on the floor right next to the window and hugged her knees. She rocked herself gently. They're starting up again... she thought. The voices are back. She pressed her head against her knees and started whimpering. Tears fell uncontrollably from her eyes. She shivered and rocked herself harder on the floor. The voices all wanted control of her mind. They were all talking at the same time--all too loud. Terrified, Fuyuku let out a scream.

Fichu walked into the building with a smile on her face. Only because she was laughing at the other patience. Once she walked in to the room the smile was gone instantly. She sat quiet dyeing the others. Her first example of bipolar. She smiled again when she looked at her mothers shot glass. A weird keep sake but it was the most important thing to her. Tears streamed down her face although she still wore a smile. She was severely damaged.
