Fabiana Blanco
[Queen B] lvl. 25
Location: Main Square

Fabiana began to make her way out of the inn and into the square. It seemed it was lively as usual. The square was considered the hub world where players were able to head any direction to the land that they wished to visit. This was the cornerstone of the game. Fabiana shoved her hands into her pockets and huffed leaning against one of the leaderboards displaying the usual top players here and there. He eyes raised seeing her name on the 5th position. Yeah. Same as usual.

"I gotta think of something... Where should I start looking?..."

Gabriel Dubois
[Audacity] lvl. 6

Location: Level 5 Farm Land

Gabriel began to sit and enjoy the calmness of the farm. The little cows and chickens running around mindlessly. If they at least corrupted, it would be kind of funny. He sat down on a stack of hay and pulled his legs up to his chest. He should go back. Today at least. He wanted to see how his family and friends were doing. On the other hand, it was always so dangerous.

Bandile "Bandy" "Eldritch" Naidoo
Level 27
The Lives of Flies
Main Square
Everything seemed like it was going well. "I'm gonna go. PM me when everyone's ready, I'll meet up." Bandy made his way off. Might as well see how he's doing on the board. Still fourth. Top three must be grinding 24/7. And what would you know, number five was right next to him. "Oh! Hello Queen. Looking lovely as always!" The words were somewhere between friendly convo a bit of flirting. "Still reaching for number 1 as always, eh?" Bandy smiled as he took a spot next to her.

Percy Verenzei
(Lovecraft)
Location: Alleyways
Watching the two players who had confronted him, Percy guessed this was a case of the 'family curse', as Patience called. Some strange tale she made up as to why people wanted to be friends with everyone in his lineage, though that was usually not the case. Though, he did notice something about the first girl, the one who had thought he was lost. It was as if her cheerfulness toned down way too much. sure, she was generally happy when she left, but compared to the attitude that she had when Percy had been confronted by her...something was up, he just couldn't tell what. Well, he thought, it can't be helped. He probably wouldn't be seeing her anymore anyway, unless she liked to hang out in dark alleyways. Turning back to the second girl who had approached him...Elliphant, judging by her IGN, and spoke back to her politely, thought still sounding a little cold. "Thanks, but I don't really need one right now. Sorry, but I was simply investigating..." He stopped himself too late, knowing full well that he had jut broken his own rule. Quickly changing the subject, "BY any chance, you wouldn't happen to know any original locations from the development stage of AS, would you? Or the usernames of any Admins?"

Fabiana Blanco
[Queen B] lvl. 25
Location: Main Square

Fabiana paused as she heard a familiar voice calling her name. She turned to see Eldritch. Oh this guy. Her eyes began to roll as she listened to his "introduction". She had known them from the leaderboards. He was just above her and although she had never faced him in battle, she had seen a few of his own while spectating.

"Oh. Hey. How's it going?"

She said while looking at the boards again. It seemed that new names had been added. Maybe people were starting to like Pvp after awhile. It was a good way to test out someone's strength and the safest way to settle disputes in this corrupted land of theirs. She had learned a few tricks here and there from how many she had played in.

Eko Ray Williams (a.vid magi)
Main Square
Interacting with: Alteras Alteras
Mentioned: simj26 simj26

Many of the players that passed through the main square were familiar in one way or another; though he didn't do all that much, Eko had gotten rather good at remembering faces; most of those he could pick out of the crowd he had never talked to, yet their passing familiarity brought forth an odd sense of comfort all the same. Perhaps this was simply due to knowing that they were still alive. Maybe seeing some of the same people brought a sense of normality to the game.

Two of the louder players in the square were a performer of some kind, as well as someone who appeared to be putting together a grind party. Eko had always hated grinding, unless it was with Flip. She always talked about how that sort of thing was necessary in games like this, but that didn't make it any more fun.

She did, though. Flip always knew how to make things fun, at least as far as Eko was concerned.

His attention turned back to the guitarist near the center of the square. Something about her reminded him of Maddie; maybe it was just the confident way that she went to town on her instrument. Maddie was much the same way when she was making her own songs; completely detached, yet in a happy way. 'In the zone,' or something like that. When Eko was familiar with the sensation, he had no name for it; and yet, since the car crash, since he was given something he could call that state of being, it had remained ever illusive, no matter how hard he tried.

It would be rude to interrupt her in the middle of her performance, wouldn't it?

His attention shifted back to the party gatherer nearby. Eko hadn't left the city in days, not since Flip went missing. If he left, would he miss her if she came by? Was there really any point in leaving town anyway? If he were the one that had went missing, Maddie would have been far more proactive, he knew that much. Yet, Eko had no idea where to even begin; judging by the woman's words, the group was bound for a low-level area. There was no chance Maddie would be hanging around in a place like that, and it seemed doubtful that there would be all that many clues to the disappearance of other players in such a place anyway.

Though, at the same time, maybe some of the people being gathered up into that party of sorts would know something.

It took a bit of effort, but Eko pulled himself out of his curled position with great reluctance, and started over toward the small gathering, loose-fitting shirt billowing slightly in the simulated wind. He pushed some of his long, black hair from in front of his uncovered eye, frowning lightly as he turned his dark-skinned face upward to the party's organizer.

"Um...where did you say your party was going, again?"

With her signature smile, she began to see if she can help out the boy. Out of the corner of her eyes, she saw bandy wander off. Degarè DeTournoie
Location : 'The Tonic'
Time 10:35

Hon Hon.png

Relaxed, it was a feeling Degarè felt accustomed to, but a foreign concept to Leo, he was sitting down eating lunch, The Tonic was very similar to the Brasseries over in France, whilst they had a large helping of seafood Degarè settled for an omelette. Unsurprisingly, he had gone to the wrong bar, granted, it wasn't his fault as, although Black lamb and Tonic were two very different nouns they oddly had very similar locations, either way, Degarè had already paid and was on his way out, so he wasn't planning to waste the rest of his currency, that and Dream Co. members weren't too up his valley, they were too formal and predictable, almost basic, evil was meant to be fun and free not a press conference, to Degarè, villainy was an art.

Leaving the bar, it brought him to the very foot of the Gilded Cage city, it seemed ripe for destruction, with all of it's pristine areas, yet, Degarè knew a task like that, whilst exciting would be near impossible as of now. Suddenly a rush of sharp pain shot through Degarè, almost as if he was fighting himself,
-Ever since 'the incident' Degarè and Leo became very separated, Degarè had become a person rather than a alter ego, it was almost like the two were possessing their body, as of now Degarè was at the reigns as Leo was in comatose, yet Leo was trying to grab the reigns of the two but Degarè was too strong- Degarè knew what to do, it had been a while since he had caused some mischief, it would prime to do it now. However, he shot the meeting members a message.
¬Mon excuses messieurs, as I cannot attend the meeting, I have matters of the private, that is needed to go attend.
-Degarè could just about speak and write English, it was mostly phrases and Buzzwords but he was at least comprehendable-

Location : AS defragmatised area
Time : 11:45
Cold; that was one way to describe the outskirts of AS; broken was another, As long as it sounded undesirable, it was a good way to describe the outskirts of AS. It once held a land of beauty, a mesh of Countryside, Desert and Tundra that would change dynamically based on time, quite a lot of players were caught in awe and amazement but none thought much of it's vast open, yet sloped area. To Degarè, it wasn't just a temporary hide-out after doing dishonest actions, but a marvel of both technology and art. -Granted, the latter was a fabrication of Leo's mind- He dubbed the place as 'merveilleuse vague', meaning 'heavenly waves', as the landscape appeared to be like the sea and if Degarè was enraged, the area calmed down the villain, it almost brought out Leo. - That would be 100% true if he wasn't so territorial over the place -
Alas, the tranquillity was no more, it's calmness and stillness, now non-existant. It had become a defragmatised area of code, with texture errors, voids, various monster spawns, most unmajestic sights; the cause of this was the event, commonly referred to as 'the incident' - A term that Degarè still finds quite unflattering, he prefers it to be called 'la décontraction' as it's more of an ease of tension to him-, disrupting with the code that changed the terrain dynamically. To both Degarè and Leo it was fairly disappointing, an area that was admired by both of them coming to a close, due to the fault of a lazy coder, or even a malicious plot of the company, either way, it seemed that the Jeckle of the Hyde was due to be a lot more prominent.
Degarè was running the show and yet he still felt on the rails, there must've still been some destruction to do, as Degarè always says "Si j'ai envie il détruit il en sera ainsi!"
Picking up his Basso-oka, Degarè felt like making a big show,
-after all, he is a villian!- the mist engulfed him, like the waves that once resided in 'merveilleuse vague', the Bayou was about to sing it's song and somebody was about to be tormented.

Emerging from the mist it was Degarè, the Main Square was still an overwhelming area, it's layout so compact and cubed, there was breathing room but it appeared as if everything was stacked upon each other, it was a metaphorical cage, a cage of concrete, it was keyless and hopeless yet so gravitating. It was hustling and bustling, with it's various NPC's many of which didn't vendor to Degarè after committing various thefts. The players, some who were day 1's noticed the infamous French-man, he known enough for being a nuisance but not enough to be a threat.
As Degarè was entering, his shoe was 1/2 stuck in a brick and he had to forcefully shove it out, despite having to shake off the rubble, it was one of Degarè's best entrances, he was still getting used to his ability..

-One time, he was almost a carrot- whistling along to the Bayou, he noticed, what almost appeared like a squadron of different levelled players. Perfect.
"Salut Victimes! J'y vais ruiner vous journèe." Greeted Degarè, in an accent too friendly for villain but rugged enough to even scare an elderly man.
Twisting his moustache violently, he pulled out the Basso-oka from his back, readied and steadied it, cocked it back, took aim, which was by the squadrons' feet. Took a large grin -This was Degare's favourite part- and blew into the reed. Degarè wasn't looking to hurt anyone so he did the lowest note he could muster, an A1. The radius was small but it sent debris scattering across the square. He then chortled a very french chortle and readied for a second blast.

Shin Akiyama
[AS66] lvl 26
Location: Black Lamb

Shin stared, unblinking at the glass of iced coffee that sat opposite him. A thin film of condensation had begun to encase it's crystal clear surface slightly obscuring the liquid contents. He had seen something familiar he recalled, during a session within Dream Co's 'rendered recordings'. The setting had taken place in a sprawling concrete metropolis that appeared to contain a large area of vegetation at it's apex. The aroma was what had initially captured his attention, leading him to a little hidden coffee shop shoveled among two monolithic buildings. His eyes had been immediately drawn to a bright yellow scarf wrapped around the shoulders of a young, red-headed women. A tall glass of caffeine sat on a round table directly in front of her, disregarded and untouched in favor of the blue led holopad in her hands. He had been as unsure then as he was now why he had the sudden urge to touch its frosted surface. The action was obsolete, yet his hand had already crept forward and just as predicted, it had simply passed through like a wisp of white smoke. Ambiguously he wondered what would happen if-

It was then that a hand extended towards him, interrupting his thoughts and blocking the drink from view. Shin vaguely registered that they were now exchanging introductions as he automatically reached forward to return what he recognized was a handshake. As soon as his exposed right hand came into view his head tilted curiously to the side. His glove was missing. With a brief scan through his memories he surmised that it must've been lost during his interactions with Elliephant. With little concern he brushed the thought aside.

"Andel," he introduced himself, stretching out an open palm to shake, "or jade.1, I suppose. We've met before, haven't we?"

"I..." Shin began as he considered the question. Had Andel been referring to the numerous times he's attended the Audio Slave trials? Perhaps during an event where Shin's recollection protocols were compromised and could therefore not remember occasion; or maybe the older man could just be trying to carry a polite conversation™.

"I..." Shin repeated, "...don't have the proper data to answer that question."

Before their exchange could continue however a third member arrived; Arielle Aspen, registered as SP4, level 9, and a programmer within Dream Co. Her files had contained numerous amounts of scribbles, most of which had been devil horns and miniature pitch forks. Shin gave a polite nod in response to her greeting.

Elise Weiß
[Elliephant] lvl 28
Location: Alleyways

'Investigation...?' Ellie thought, her brows scrunching in slight confusion. That was definitely an odd choice of word, given the situation, but before she could speculate further her musings were cut short.

“I’d stay and talk, but I’m super late for something, and I really need to run.” The blonde announced. “I’m guessing I’ll see you guys around?”

Fortunately, Ellie just about managed to call out a hurried goodbye right as their retreating figure disappeared within the ebb and flow of the crowd. That made for two individuals that she had met that day who were particularly good at vanishing from the scene. With a smile, she turned to address the remaining party who she discovered, with a quick glance at the floating nameplate above their head, went by the IGN 'Lovecraft'. Bright eye'd she wondered if she stumbled across someone who also shared an interest in the famous authors worlds of cosmic mythos and unknown horror. Most didn't peg her the type to enjoy that sort of genre but to be fair she'd never really had the chance to talk much about her literary exploits. Not when people were more interested in discussing clips of the latest holo-web sensation.

Before she could address the latters choice in IGN however they already beat her to another subject.
