||Personality||


Tricks personality matches the meaning of his name - he's a natural trickster. He doesn't really have any set morals or virtues he holds dear to him; he acts purely on whim. He speaks in riddles and can be dreadfully poetic at times, stuck in his own little Romantic era where everything was terrible dark and emotions were what drove people. He's also a hopeless romantic who will fall in and out of love at the drop of a hat, declaring that the only things that one can feel to their full extent are love, heartbreak and hatred. Trick has a morbid sense of humor and often makes sick jokes whenever he is in a good mood, and has no boundaries when it comes to personal space. He is also very unpredictable; as dramatic as he might be he is also blunt.


He likes to consider himself a man of his word and always takes his promises very seriously; this can be a problem since he tends to speak without thinking.Trick is also very passionate about almost everything, finding that a life without passion is dull and boring, so he can be found dabbling in a little bit of everything such as singing, painting, exhibitionism, drugs, human rights and various other things other than contortion. His passions vary between the days, mostly depending on the mood he's in; aside from his seriousness towards promises and telling the truth, he doesn't take much of anything else seriously and has a tendency to make puns and tell jokes no matter what the situation.

Backstory:

Trick spent the first couple years of his life in Moscow, Russia with his father who eventually met and fell in love with an acrobat from a wandering cirque. Being hoplessly romantic and all the father and son set off and joined the circus and wandered all over the world as nomads. Trick didn't mecessarily get the best education growing up, the things he learned varied and he never had a steady flow of knowledge coming his way so he had to make due with what he got and be resourceful if he wanted to actual know anything relevent.


Due to this upbringing, he has knowledge of several different things such as how to pick a lock, build a pipe bomb, six different languages(though he can only fluently speak Russian and English), and other nifty tricks. He didn't become a contortionist until late(for most contortionists), he started when he was 7 after being told he was a natural after he had managed to slip under a low riding car to retrieve a toy.


When he was of age his father had decided it best to put him in an actual school and start planning out his future before it was too late and his only son was stuck a carny for his entire life. Trick didn't much like having to part from his father and his circus family, but he couldn't deny his own personal longing to see and live the life of a normal boy his age.
