Can't join. Haven't watched RWBY, and I don't know what semblance means, and the thread was too long and almost made my internet crash. Sorry. Currently watching RWBY on Crunchyroll

Didn't hate on it, just said it had an incoherent plot line with characters that are practically templates for every 'girl power' anime in existence, just that,

I don't think it's anime... It's certainly some type of animation, but it's in English. And CRUNCHYROLL USUALLY SUBS. I am so confused. Apparently it was made by Rooster Teeth, an American thing, in an American language.

Yeah, but it's still an anime, it just uses a rarer animation and art style than most anime.

It is made by Rooster Teeth and is heavily anime inspired, however, it was made in Dallas Texas and is being translated into Japanese and to be released soon

It's anime-inspired, but it holds up, more or less. It all comes down to personal preference. I think it's pretty impressive, since Rooster Teeth hasn't really done something like this, excluding Red vs Blue.

Anime means Japanese animation though >_> I know something anime inspired that isn't anime (I'm looking at you, avatar.) Texas is in America, no? And I would like a Japanese version, that would sound lovely

Rooster Teeth is an American company in Austin, Texas.The Japanese dub has yet to be released, but there is a decent Chinese version.
