On an actual note, I'll leave you guys to do that, since I can never actually play outright, unsympathetic villains very well. On another note, if you want an extreme misanthrope, I'm here.

Judging by the spoiler, I'd say there's more to the villain than would meet the eye,

That will be one of the major villains that will be appearing much later on.

The Emerald Forest will contain Grimm that have already been seen, as well as other types. Not many have been revealed, so the majority will be original.

It will be a mixture of both. When the test begins, the characters will set out to find their designated partners, but they can go about it however they want. There will eventually be a set encounter, but not until all pairs have been made.

So like that scorpion bird boss fight in ep8? The fixed encounter I mean.

Today, depending on the time I get home. They will be randomized, but nobody who has been together so far will be in the same unit.

So team SLAM and ALSS are just dreams?

No, the teams will remain as they are, but the pairs in the Emerald Forest will be different than what's been seen so far. For example, Sabrina and Sol will not be together.

Oh, so we're in different units for the test, but we'll pick different pieces, is that the gist of it?

Ah right then. Well I'm sure Maro cant wait to slice through a few dozen ursa to brag about to Lana at the end of the test xD

I essentially have two hours of free time at the moment, so I went ahead and made the pairs. For ALSS, the pairs will be Alman with Sol and Sabrina with Lorelai. For SLAM, it will be Senren with Maro and Ascalon with Lana.

Senren better be up for a spot of lying. Maro may or may not be able to slice through a few dozen ursa but hey, Lana aint there so what does she know
