Or Team SINJ (Singe) or JINS (Pronounces Jinx, or even a reference to Ginger?), or even team JJAS (Jazz?) or SAJJ (Sage, as in the shade of Green) depending on how things play out.

So really, it's up to them and how the RP plays out from here.

well yeah, I shouldn't worry too much, since I found my team

Also, @Bullet Tooth Tony @amdreams @BlackJack we should probably decide who our leader will be, so we can pick a name from there. I know amdreams said she didn't want Lazulii to do it, so that leaves Tealiose, Herb, and Hansi. I mean, I guess Hansi can do it, if no other character is the leader type, or wants it?

Good Mornin' and no, I don't particularly mind anyone being the leader. Herb is a natural born follower.

@BlackJack[/URL]'s Tealiose who is described by his player as a creep, and Sweet Hansi, who has poor people skills, and is. Well. Hansi.
I'll leave that up to you guys, but Hansi could do it, I think. I try to play her as a relatively decent person, if a bit stubborn and judgemental, at times.
Perfect since Mel isn't a leader of her team... can't wait for the lunch room segments.

Hey, they promised to be civil in public. Which will probably only make it worse, since they'll both be convinced the other is being passive aggressive as all hell. How exciting.

Very much so and if Beo and Mel's relationship goes some Mel... you think Mel would find some why to rub it in Hansi's face

Even better if their dorms are like opposite of each other

I was joking when I said he was a creep but my guy has issues trusting people so being leader would not be his thing.

Okay, the Chasm (Canon or not we won't focus on that aspect) will be infested with creeps near the ruins, and by that I mean the upper segments where walkways may have formed will be relatively clear, but the deepest sections of the chasm where the caves leading to the ruins are will be completely overrun. The ruins I'm referring to are basically the sunken remains of a former castle that has been slowly being swallowed by the chasm over time.

The Castle itself will have Boarbutusks as well as Creeps swarming all over it with several Ursa dens, with nary a trace of resting points within it.

The Relics will be various sets of dominoes arranged in the deepest level of the ruins, right in the middle of a Creep nest where three Ancient Creeps reside with various smaller ones.

And yes, each one of those ancients requires full teamwork to defeat.

You needed to read it five times before you could like the post?

Huh, guess I'm typing too small if a rule like that's so unnoticeable.

But seriously though, the whole point of the rules is to be read and understood. Since I always tell applying players to read them through, I don't see why I'd have to tell you how to follow them, I expected reading them to be quite a simple task. The mere fact that you decide to complain about me not telling you the rules you were supposed to read on your own is actually pretty humorous.

But no, telling you would defeat the purpose of having you read them on your own, which is why I always redirect questioners back to the Overview Tab until they get it right.

Either way, you're okay now. Go ahead and hop in.

The caves you're in will eventually lead into the section of the chasm where the Ruins are, so expect heavy subterranean Grimm presence as you draw near.

Wonderful... granted my team killed a Deathstalker...

also will Ozpin have any words with the current pairings?

(@theManCalledSting )

Due to instructors having to keep their distance during initiation, no.

Comments on them, Glyunda maybe but not Ozpin.

I mean they're obviously watching on their scrolls to monitor progress and determine the leaders

So Yah Glynda's opinions would be nice.

True, but just because we're following the show's established canon doesn't necessarily mean the events would be the same with different characters.

They are technically NPCs, and I hesitate to use them in the RP when not needed simply because I must tread carefully whenever using established characters. It would not offer much to the current story, therefore we can wait until the Emerald Forest Arc is over before joining with them again before we have some character time then start the Rhythm Arc.

Rhythm Arc?

So . . . That means Lazuli gets to push Teal into the chasm? . . . That could be fun. Really not going to help those trust issues though.

So just curious, as the rp goes on, are we allowed to make our own arcs or even our own grimm?

Actually yeah @GrieveWriter are we allowed to make our own arcs? I was well received for my arcs in the other RP I'm in.

Not a problem for a while, don't worry about it.

The top sections of the chasm should have enough small Nevermores flying around for him to save himself, though yes it would be terrible for trust, especially with how much of an edgelord he is.

After teams are established we can have smaller character based ones for each team to go on as long as they don't take up too much space and are centered on character development. It gives the teams a chance to branch out and develop together until the next sect of the main storyline rears its head. After the Rhythm Arc, we may decide to focus on a smaller number of character arcs if the players decide there's someone they'd like to have more time in the limelight.

So yes, we will have player made arcs, they will be used to take up time between main storyline Arcs and further the character development similar to how they do it in RWBY.

And in the case of non-canon Grimm, I literally have an entire folder full of fan made Grimm that seem like interesting opponents, and will not hesitate to introduce them in certain Grimm infested areas if I feel they fit the setting well enough.
