"I doubt that. Short Stack and Data were here earlier, so we might just be the last." She said, standing up. "You sure you're good to fight? You still seem kinda banged up. Just.. stay back and shoot things, and I'll handle the closer combat."





If he was was further back, she would worry a bit less, since she was undamaged, if a bit tired. But if he insisted on closer range fighting? She would be too busy watching his back to actually do any damage.

"If we see another Tiajutu, I'll trust you to blow both its heads off before I even get scared." She was already unsheating her knives. "Don't worry about me, I'm not some helpless damsel. I can handle these things." She spun one knife on her finger before gripping it, ready to slash and hack at anything that crossed her.


She waved at him, trying to quiet him. Something was coming. "Just, be careful." she whispered. "I can pull back if things get hot. You've lost a lot of blood in your head, and I don't think you can really pull off a full sprint."


They were approaching a group of Ursa, 4 to be precise, most relatively small. One, however, towered over the other 3 as though they were small babies.


"Shoot the big one once or twice, and then get the others. I'll finish the big one." She ran off, not giving him time to respond. She had a funny feeling he would have had some gallant protest.

Herb aimed at the larger ursa and aimed three shots at its head, the first destroyed the beasts skull and the others simply scattered its brains. He then re focussed and aimed at the three beasts, hitting one of the tykes legs.

But it seemed he was going with her plan anyway, leading her into another corridor. He drew an x on the floor, explaining to her what to do and some worthless statistics. Geez, emo and a math nerd. Way to pick 'em. But he was useful at least. She wouldn't want to open another Ursa den or kill those other students she supposed.


"Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Whatever Suzy," she said, right before slamming her fist directly on the x. The floor collapsed from under her but she was not done yet. She still had 2 more floors to go. Using a large piece of rubble as a stepping stone, she pushed herself off the rock to propell herself quicker to the next floor. Another floor, another hit. And once more she repeated the cycle a third time.


Once she was falling toward the desired floor, she pushed herself off some more rubble, though instead of pushing straight down, she used them to jump toward the side. She landed on the floor a few feet away, running a few more away after that. She didn't want to be in the splatter zone once all that rubble came down.


Once it seemed safe enough, Lazuli checked her bracers. Her stone dust was down about a third, so she'd probably have to avoid using too much. Or at least find some time to reload. But hopefully, this test wouldn't take much longer. Though she had other types to use if it did, she guessed.


She looked around afterwards, seeing another group of students, like Teal had claimed. She was a tad impressed, but mostly weirded out that he was somehow able to determine their gender but not their species, but she felt like she really didn't want to know how. Meeting them like this was probably awkward. She and her partner sort of just fell from the ceiling, through a series of holes that really shouldn't have been there.


"Hello?" she said, waving her hand slowly, not knowing what else to do at the moment.

Mel suddenly stopped dead in her tracks...


"Oh great..." she said plainly as if someone came over and ruined the party.


"Oh! Hey! Blue Girl! Wanna Help us beat the living hell out of this Grimm?" Mel said in an oddly cheery way

WarZii dug his feet into the ground. Slowly the Ancient Creep was forcing him down. He was startled by the collapsing ceiling which made him lose his footing. Luckily for him it also startled the Ancient Creep.


The Ancient Creep lifted its foot off of WarZii and kicked him. The giant Grimm turned and looked at Lazuli. With a Roar it lunged its massive body towards the girl.


WarZii raised his sword and struck the claw of the Ancient Grimm as it kicked him, absorbing the force of the kick. He slid back several feet. Regaining his footing He charged back at the grimm, leading with his shield. "Now IS NOT the time to chit-chat." He slashed at the back of the Grimm's leg then rolled to the outside of the beast.

As she was running toward the Ursa, it's head exploded, scattering gore everywhere. mostly in her face.


"Um, did I misspeak or something?" She said, suddenly surrounded by 3 Ursa.


She fell to the ground as two of them lunged at her, moving out of the way before the crashed into each other. "I said get the little ones, specifically so I didn't have to do this?" She tossed a knife and the injured one, using her semblance to grapple towards it, away from the other two. A quick couple of stabs with her knife and it was dead.


Now she had two more Ursa to deal with.


She spotted a nook in an upper window of the ruin. With a quick pirouette, she tossed on at the window. Perfect, it hooked. She pulled the ribbon taut, and sprung up, just out of the Ursa's range. If she timed it just right...


She tossed Nila into the larger of the remaining Ursa, and jumped, using her semblance to increase gravity on her. As she landed, she stabbed the Ursa in the eye, with baingani, making sure to twist just right to get at what passed for a brain in these creatures , pulled both her knives out out its body, and twirled away.


Two down.. She dropped back to the ground, making herself small. She side rolled behind the Ursa, before using her knives to slice at its feet, rendering it mostly immobile. She then leapt onto it's back and stabbed it in the nape of its neck with both knives.


"This would have been a lot easier, if I only had to fight, I dunno, like, one Ursa."

Lilith watched as her teammates began their assault. She watched and she learned. While the initial lightning attack seemed to have hurt it a fair amount, the follow axe slashes hardly seemed to phase it. While it was possible that it had simply bled into pain it was already feeling from the shock, one thing was clear. Beo's axes and Lilith's dagger could cut deep enough to do any serious damage. Her gun could probably do some damage, but it mostly be up to WarZii and Mel with their heavy weapons. However the Creep was smart. It had realized that the boy was the biggest threat and had avoided his attack.


Jumping off the pillar, Lilith landed on the creature and embedded Fang into it back. The Grimm snarled but otherwise payed her no attention, as it was more focused on WarZii and the new girl. A fact she was about to change.


Focusing, she channeled her Aura into her hand and slammed it down on the black dagger, burying the entire weapon, handle and all, deep into its flesh. The combined pain from that and Mel's attack made the creature roar in pain and rear back, causing Lilith to lose her footing and fall. Her Aura flared as she hit the ground, keeping her from breaking any bones, but not saving her from being winded.


"Oooff!


@theManCalledSting @Bullet Tooth Tony and @The Succubi Queen from the rest of us. And then @BlackJack will just have to follow you because your his partner and he can't let you die (I don't know his motives) Does this work for you?)

She sighed. "No, I should have waited to make sure you understood. I didn't think." So, she probably wasn't cut out to be leader. She had put his safety over clarity, and that could get people killed. Even if it was only her, it wasn't a good move.


"We should hurry inside before something big comes by. They're a lot of Grimm in there, but they mostly seem like small fodder."


"Also, I think this whole thing gave me a great idea for a fighting form we should try later." She grinned. Actually, it had given her a few.

Mel tired to recover but the shock from Jotunham caused a good deal of damage to her aura.

The Ancient Creep growled in agitation. The pain in its back was intense. Now it had a metal thorn stuck in it. The Grimm ran to the rubble from the ceiling and began kicking up large stones at the students.


WarZii followed the A. Creep. "I'm not letting you GO." He shouted with a smile bearing his sharp teeth. Using his shield he deflected a group of rocks away from his allies. A piece of cieling that was as big as WarZii came soaring at him. Gripping his sword tightly he sliced the rubble in half. The two halves continued past WarZii. One piece landed next to Mel and Lazuli. The other slid right in front of Lilith. He glanced over his shoulder and saw what could have happened. The thought sent WarZii on a frenzy. He threw his shield at the Grimm's face. Effectively hitting its eye. Using this chance he held his sword with both hands and attacked the Grimm's claw on its undamaged leg. He swung down with one strike, his sword bounced of. Immediately he forced down a second slash and it cut roughly through the Grimm's claw. The might creature lifted its leg, writhing in pain. WarZii shoulder bashed into the A. Creeps other leg in an attempt to make it lose its balance. The A. Creep toppled over from WarZii's relentless assault.


WarZii ran towards his shield, "PULL IT TOGETHER, NOW'S OUR CHANCE!" He shouted as he scoooped his shield up with his left hand.

"Hey, Worzel! Next time, if you plan on stealing the show... Can you do it with style?" Mel said with slight bitterness in her voice...

She made a mental note to start carrying one herself. "Inside with little Grimm seems safer than outside with lots of big Grimm, right? Just.. stay close to me. Ok?"

"Heyo! Herb! So like, maybe if we take this it'll get us closer to the relics? The hole looks pretty new, so maybe someone, I dunno, made it.. maybe Melania the obnoxious and her little group of pets?" She spat Mel's name out, and she obviously didn't hold much high regard for the faunus who actually choose to keep her company. "Or maybe Data and Short Stack? If it was Data, it's probably our best option. If it was Mel.... eh. You can decide if we take our chances."

"Herb, how much do you trust me?" She grinned at him. "Because we're gonna grapple down that hole and it won't work unless you trust me like, a ton."


She threw Baingani around a pillar, hooking the blade against the ribbon to create an anchor. She then ran around the pillar several times, creating a sort of bolt out of her weapons. She held out Nila to him the blue knife shining, even in the darkness. "Ok, so, first, I gonna need you to tie this around your waist or something. Just make sure you're secure. If you want, I can tie you a sort of seat to sit in if it'll, I dunnno, make this easier for you?"





In her younger days, she had often used her dance ribbons to do something similar with her brother's toys. This was close enough, right?

Herb nodded and took the length of ribbon from her and began to tie it around his waist and under his crotch, securing it tightly around his armor. "If I die, well, well promise me you'll name your first kid after me, ok?"
