Fandom RWBY: Adventures in Vale [No Longer Accepting]
"Not on your life, pretty boy. I have my pride." Gosh, was he flirting with her, after all this? She laughed a bit at the thought.
"I think you did more Grimm killing than I did to be honest. Running like a 12 year old from a King Taijutu like that. How noble and brave of me."
"I'd get you in." Herb said "I'd ensure that no matter what happens you'll get in because if theres one thing I've learned in life, we all fuck up sometimes." he said "And well I wouldn't wanna end up going and having to fucking meet a new person after having met you."

She laughed again. "Yeah, with me around, you won't have to meet anybody else, ever. Not even our teammates."

She gave him a grin, her own confidence showing. "Oh, I'm sure I'll get in. I might not have set a shining first impression or whatever, but if we actually do have to fight a hoard of Grimm, Nila and Baingani won't let me down. They haven't yet, and I doubt today will be the first time."

They continues to walk down the path, the chasm growing taller above them as they descended. "So, what exactly happened? With like, your family or whatever? I can't imagined they, like, kicked you out just because of, I dunno, your less than charismatic attitude."

"Well, I ran away." Herb said "I didn't want to live that sort of lifestyle, one in which my life was simply gonna be sacrificed so my great great grand children might be able to take over Vale." Herb said "No, business dealings and schmoozing up to politicians isn't my style, killing Grimm and having adventure is the way I want to live my life, I don't want to be a slave to my family legacy."

"Ughhhh....." Argen rises in a painful daze. When the test had begun, Argen had been ready for action and battle. He hadn't been ready to get launched off of a cliff and blindly into a forest.

That was one thing.

The other was he didn't expect to be propelled at those speeds through the air into a tree branch that he ate with his face. The not only sent him into a whirling series of back flips but also into other trees, given as he was spinning so much.

The third thing, he didn't expect to crash land into a large boulder with the back of his head. Argen was tough and durable. Along with his armor and aura there was little he couldn't handle.

But if he knew one thing it was the things you didn't see coming that killed you. Lastly, he didn't expect to get knocked out by the blow. Losing consciousness was something he had trained for years not to do. Especially in a high risk situation like the one he was just hurled into.

With pain and a good dose of self-hatred, Argen stumbles to his feet and gathers his bearings. He quickly checks to make sure he had all of his equipment and luckily, he does. He quickly orients himself to the situation and begins trekking through the forest chosen as his test. He was told he needed to find an artifact of some kind and he had already lost an unknown amount of time unconscious. He sincerely hoped that the test was not yet over as he breaks off into a run.

Hansi looked at him, a newfound respect in her eyes. "I didn't know families could be so awful... Hey, are you doing ok? You need to take a break or anything?" She wanted to make sure he didn't pass out on her. "I'm not in a huge rush. We have until sunset or something, right? That's, like, forever."

And on top of her concern for him, her feet were killing her and she needed to stretch again if she was going to be in fighting shape anytime soon.

As Argen is running, he starts to hear voices and promptly halts all movement. He lowers into a crouch and begins to quietly approach whatever could possibly be talking. Grimm weren't known to speak but some of the older and more powerful ones tended to do some strange things. Speaking shouldn't be out of the question right. "Better safe than sorry...." Argen mutters under his breath. His years of training with his father now kicking in, Argen's breathing comes to a near halt. He breathes so shallow it could be questioned whether or not he was breathing at all. All movements were minute and silent. Not even his armor clinked against itself. It was after some time of this that he comes across a male and female that seemed familiar. He had seen them in the beginning of the test he was sure of it. It seemed as they had already formed a pair with the rather ridiculous eye contact rule so Argen would not have to worry about that then.

He waits for them to pass before standing up and revealing his position to them, allowing his armor to clink and his Claymore to lightly bump into his back with a clang. He says nothing to the two recruits and only nods to them when they should turn around to face him.

"Nah." Herb said "I'm nursing a bruised scrotum and a cracked skull, I'll manage." he said with a chuckle "And nah, most of my family are pricks, a few aren't but most are." he then sighed and kept going.

She spun around at a sound behind them. She was two seconds away from pulling out her knives and impaling their attacker when-

It was another student. He must have been quite a sight, Herb's face covered in blood with a bright indigo strip of chiffon on his head, and Hansi in her tattered and torn skirt (with blood somehow on her face as well.)

"Um. Hi, I guess?" She really didn't know what to say. She'd seen this guy around a bit, but who he was she had no idea.

"Mmm." Argen didn't offer much in the way of greeting. He didn't know these people and they were obviously skilled in some way or another. By their looks, they had just gotten out of a rather rough battle. They may be students like himself but that doesn't mean they weren't threats and the rules didn't explicitly say that students couldn't sabotage one another either. Caution was the best approach and caution was always a good thing to have. "You know the direction to the artifacts?"

"I mean, vaguely?" She pointed in the direction of the large depilated castle that lay in the far corner of the chasm. "It's still about 20 minutes away, yeah. Is your...uh... partner or whoever nearby?"

She had no idea who this guy was, and if they were all going to be stuck together for the next four years (she still had no idea how this whole teams things was going to work), she'd like to meet their last member sooner rather than later.

She glanced at Herb, wondering what was going through his mind. Things were awkward enough between the two of them, now there was a stranger in their midst?

"No partner. Just me." Argen's husky voice lightly resonates from within the helmet, giving a slightly disembodied sound. With the new information, Argen raises his head to lay eyes upon the large castle in the distance that he hadn't noticed in his previous position. From this vantage point, Argen could see it rather clearly. Yes, that did seem like the place to go but it also reeked of some kind of trap. They wouldn't make it that easy. Argen remembered the headmaster saying that sometimes new recruits don't make it back out of the forest. He was beginning to wonder what kind of a test was this where the students could potentially die. Then he remembered the enemy they were facing. If they die here, then they were surely going to do out there against hordes of large and powerful Grimm.

Realizing that he was probably coming off as a rude, Argen gives a slight bow to the female that had given him the information he needed. Without another word, the Silver Sentinel walks off in the direction of the great castle beyond.

"Uh.. I'm Hansi, by the way!" She called after him, before turning back to Herb.

"Well. That was, kinda sorta weird." She mused, pulling a lock of hair out of her face.

She paused. "Herb?" She asked, grabbing for his attention, concern in her voice.

The female called Hansi announced her name and while unnecessary, Argen did find himself thankful that she gave him her name. He would have to thank her properly for her help, as his mother taught to do. Always pay back your debts. While it was only a bit of information, it was enough to get Argen on the right track. Given his situation, that information was incredibly useful and might have just saved his chances of getting into beacon as a successful student. The knight trudges onward toward the castle, letting his sword arm drift to the handle of his Claymore. Argen had a bad feeling about this and his instincts were never wrong.

Wait. She hadn't told him about the army of Grim waiting around the castle.

Oh well. No big deal, right? He'd meet up with some people and learn soon enough.

As Argen nears the castle, his suspicions were confirmed. They were dozens of Grimm prowling near the outskirts of the castle of all sizes and types. The knight kneels from a safe spot far off and scopes out the scenery. It's always wiser to see what you can see first before taking action when the odds are against you. It increases your chances of survival several times over. "Hm...." Argen ponders at what angle he should tackle this problem from. Stealth wasn't an option. There was too many. Same for trying to take them all out. Too damn many of them. Argen stay here awhile in thought while observing the area.
Wait. She hadn't told him about the army of Grim waiting around the castle.

Herb had blanked out momentarily, he was somewhat dazed until his brain caught up. "Uh, sorry Hansi." he said "I-I just had a momentary lapse in well, everything."

"Uh.. Hey. Herb. Is there. Something on my face?"

Her hand was hovering mere centimeters away from the bloodstain left behind when he had touched her cheek, still holding a lock of hair in her hands.

"Yeah, a bloodstain from where I, I touched you earlier." he still felt bad and blushed at its mention "Look, Hansi, I'm really fucking sorry about what happened back there, I was high and didn't think."

She blinked. Once. Twice. And then she burst out laughing.

"You mean, for the past 30.. hahahahahaha... minutes.. kekek.. I've been walking around with a giant bloody handprint on my face, and you didn't tell me?" She clenched her sides, the laughter ripping through her. "Like, how hard is it to say 'whoops, there's huge bloodstain on your face" for real, are you kidding me?"

She had been so worried that he'd done it just to piss her off, that he didn't even care that he'd kissed her for no reason, but he'd been so damn awkward this whole time? Just like she had? This whole time, she'd been freaking out about his opinion of her, and he had been just as worried.

"You.." she huffed a bit, as her lungs ran out of air. "You... are a fucking idiot, you know that? The biggest fucking idiot I have ever met in my entire life." She grinned up at him.

Her face was covered in blood, and he'd been too damn shy to point it out after kissing her. Boys were so stupid.

Herb blushed a shade of red slightly brighter than the blood that coated his face. "Well, I didn't wanna bring it up, its embarrassing for me, y'know?" he asked "I didn't wanna bring up the fact that I kissed you since you were mad about it" his tone was defensive but was weak, Herb was clearly on the defensive here.

"You had the balls to kiss me, but don't have the balls to tell me you like, got blood on my face?" She gave another laugh, the incredulity of it all just astounding to her. "I can't... I can't believe it."

Eventually she composed herself, standing upright and looking at him, smiling at him, a genuine smile, no sass or cynicism to it. "You. Are. Insane."

She reached up and wiped the blood off of her cheek. Now both her hands were red, one from his kiss and one from her responding slap.

The world was full of little ironies. And it's the little things that count.

"Well, I was high on adrenaline, that snake nearly killed me twice and I was scared, triumphant and proud all at the same time." he said "I wasn't sure how bad I was injured and if I was going to live or not." Herb explained "I didn't want to die without having kissed a gorgeous woman."

Was he being serious? She hoped he was kidding. Sure, they were friends again, but she wasn't jumping to any romances just yet. There were probably plenty of tasty guys at Beason, and commitment was a drag.

Regardless of his intent, best to treat it like a joke. She laughed, giving him a playful punch in the shoulder. "Cut the schmooze, pretty boy. We've got a test to pass. And no, you cannot kiss me after we get the Relic." She walked off the the slight skip back in her step.

"What was that about?" he asked "That wasn't bloody schmooze, thats me bloody getting the fucking truth out there." Herb rolls his eyes "Women." he mutters under his breath.

In the Emerald Forest....

A pair of black boots sped across the grassy plains as the sounds of spinning chambers accompanied the sound of pounding feet. Maroon just grumbled to himself as he leaped over a fallen log before immediately crouching down next to it. He waited for a moment before hefting his trivolver, then made his moment the minute the first Beowolf leaped over the log.

He immediately ran up behind it and blew its head out onto the grass below it. As it fell, he immediately rolled to its other side and hefted the already disappearing body just enough to deflect the claws of the next Beowolf before firing a round through it as well. As the third and fourths one leaped over as well, Maroon's Grimm shield had already dissipated. So when the third swiped at him he had to duck under and dive through its legs to place two shots through the fourth and role onto his feet as third turned around. He pulled the trigger only to find his rounds exhausted, and with no time to go for his pack of quick loaders he had to let the trivolver form into a mace. Using the grip of it to deflect a swinging claw, Maroon slid to the side as a claw tore up some ground and quickly bashed its knee inward with the head of the mace. Once the Beowolf was on its knee, he quickly broke its skull with a swing of his mace before turning his head to look for more incoming Grimm. Taking stock of the distance they were, Maroon quickly made use of his quick loaders before taking off once more.

Elsewhere, at the edge of the chasm...

Russ stumbled out of the forest line, coughing out several leaves before straightening her hood and waltzing out of the tree line, leaving the bodies of several Ursas to dissipate behind her. As she approached what looked to be an edge that led to a great expanse of fog, she began trying to think up a way to get down there without breaking herself. With her Glaive periodically tapping against the ground, she stood there for a while before quickly trying to remember what she had been trying to think about. Turns out she wouldn't need to wait for long.

The sounds of greatly agitated grumbling caught her notice along with that of grass being trampled. And she turned to watch as her brother dashed out of the woods before stopping to catch his breath. She smiled upon seeing him, which contrasted greatly with the frown he sported upon looking at her.

"Great," he muttered "of all the lesser to be stuck here to die with."

"Oh my god! Bro! How's your initiation been? I've been having the time of my life!" Russette practically squealed

"Well, if there's any consolation to this... its that I could probably escape while their trying to claw their way though you."

It was at that point several Beowolves leaped out of the forest behind him. Russ instantly adopted a fighting stance as she stood by Maroon, who was loading his trivolver again "Hey bro, were these wolverines the ones chasing you down."

"Beowolves you insolent cur," Maroon hissed before gesturing to the woods "And no, I would've decimated them immediately if our fighting hadn't drawn out a stronger Grimm that may have proven itself a bit troublesome."

It was at that moment that another Grimm stepped from the woods, slightly larger than the Beowolves and with much more bone protrusions on its arms.

"Uh, Bro, mind filling me in a little on what that is?" Russ asked as she tilted her head In confusion

"That, idiotic sister, would be a Kistune Klaw." Maroon stated before pointing his trivolver at it.

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_10/lewgrys_rwby_grimm_by_ghostfantasyfreak-d6u9quh.jpg.3729b85f0826dc17d601623a57f3ba66.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="79164" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_10/lewgrys_rwby_grimm_by_ghostfantasyfreak-d6u9quh.jpg.3729b85f0826dc17d601623a57f3ba66.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

The Kitsune Klaw dropped to all fours and hissed, it was much more guttural than any feline sound should be but caused the Beowolves to act accordingly.

Maroon and Russ opened fire as the Beowolves swarmed their location, but Russ's weapon ran low first causing her to groan and shield charge the nearest Beowolf. It was that opening which the Kitsune Klaw took advantage of, leaping over the falling Beowolf and towards Russ. Her shield absorbed most of the damage, but the force was enough for her to take several steps back. She braced herself and swung her Glaive towards the Grimm, who took several cautious steps back before lunging once more. She raised her shield only for ther Kitsune Klaw to spin at the last second and use its other claw to swipe the shield upwards. As its other claw came around to go for her now exposed midsection, it was suddenly blown back as a bullet lodged in the bone. The Kitsune Klaw jumped to the side a bit as a second bullet passed.

Maroon just squinted his eyes before sliding out of the way of another Beowolf's swipe before spinning the barrels on his trivolver and taking another shot. The Kitsune Klaw immediately lunged to the side and grabbed hold of one of the Beowolves before charging towards Maroon. Rolling under the swipe of another Beowolf, Maroon fired an volley of dust rounds into the Grimm Shield but the Kitsune's vital areas were covered.

He ducked another swipe before shouting, "Russ!"

The Kitsune Klaw's charge was interrupted as a surprisingly large amount of force rammed into its side and it rolled to the side a bit as Maroon went back to gunning down Beowolves.

The Kitsune Klaw arose as Russ's glaive came in an upward swing, the Grimm lunging backwards before using forward motion to deliver a flurry of swipes. Russ mainly used er Glaive to deflect the attacks seeing as how the Kitsune had already found way around her shield, and on the third swipe she spun and delivered a kick to its head which sent it rolling back. Before she could pounce upon it two more Beowolves leaped over its downed form.

One Shield block of a swipe and Russ brought her glaive up the middle of the Beowolf before she leaped out of the way of the second's swipe. Before it could turn for her she;d already thrown her Glaive, which planted itself firmly into the Grimm's chest and toppled it. She walked over and pulled it out of the Grimm's chest before getting giddy.

"Hey Bro!" She called out, "did you see that?!?"

"All of my disgust!" He shouted back at her before sliding under another Beowolf's lunge.

Russ just shrugged and charged after the Kitsune Klaw as it shook its head, Glaive met claws in a flurry of attacks as the two swung at each other, and as the fight continued none of the combatants seemed to notice the falling trees in the distance.

In the Distance...

"Try to get its good side darling!"

Amber's camera flashed repetitively as the small girl tried to keep the angle and move at the same time. She jumped to the next thick branch and turned to take another picture before stopping to jump back as the tree's stump was torn out of the ground by a large claw. She slid along the ground and tried to capture her attacker's likeness in the camera when, yet again, she had to move out of the way as it steam rolled into the tree behind her.

She sighed, it was a low sound barely noticeable over the sounds of destroyed wood, as she rolled to a stop. Another flash which came from her side brought her attention to Citrine, who confidently approached the Grimm as it reared its head away from the demolished tree towards them. It was an Ursa Major, large and strong enough to outclass most smaller Grimm yet just slow enough to dodge the majority of the time.

"Yes, you are ferocious!" Citrine urged on as the Grimm roared at them, her camera flickering almost wildly as she leaned in almost every direction in order to get as many angles as possible "You are a predator and we are succulent morsels awaiting devouring! Fell that desire to tear into us, portray it! Portray it I say, darling!"

Her words of encouragement were interrupted as, with a roar, the Ursa Major charged them again.

Citrine looked up from behind her camera and nodded to Amber before glancing through the device once more.

Amber took her cue and immediately placed her camera in her pocket before pulling her Vector Blades from her jacket. She fired several rounds at the Grimm, before letting the blades on her weapons extend. She darted forward and rolled under a massive claw as it careened over her and took down yet another nearby tree. She rolled to her feet and swung at the Grimm, the blades detaching from her weapon but remaining attached via metallic cords. The Ursa Major hardly seemed to feel anything but anger as she spun over it , slashing away with the Vector Blades before landing and firing more rounds at it.

As it went on, Citrine snapped more pictures, striking several fantastic poses as well as her protégé and the monster duked it out in the clearing.

"Yes, go for the legs, No! don't go for the legs!" She chanted in the background "Yes, you two hate each other with the intensity of a broken sun! She is so very puny in contrast to your raw strength, he is a vicious monster whose probably caused suffering to many. Hate each other, let that hatred guide your attacks verily! Now go for-!"

Her steady stream of input was interrupted as she became aware of another set of roars coming not from the Ursa Major, but from right behind her. Citrine cartwheeled out of the way as yet another Ursa Major dive-bombed out of the woods and tore into her previous position.

"Oh my, another model!" She stated in wonder as the Ursa glared at her and pulled its claws out of the ground "Hold that pose!"

She snapped several pictures before the beast lunged once more, and she once again back flipped out of the way and got ton her feet only for her back to press against a rather large tree. She took a moment to look at it before having to slide out of the way as the Ursa cleaved through its stump with its claws.

Amber was having some trouble with her own Ursa, the thing's armor was more than enough to make her vector blades much less effective then they should be. And her bullets served nothing more than a distraction. She kept her face straight, however, and once again fired a volley of bullets. The Ursa charged head first right through them, and Amber moved to dodge out of the way again when it extended its claw at the last second and caught her full In the chest mid dodge. She went sailing over Citrine, still taking photos and dodging out of the Ursa's reach, and impacted hard with the damaged tall tree.

The tree began falling, and the Ursa targeting her leaped onto the falling mass of wood and began crawling towards her as Citrine took notice.

Back at the Edge of the Chasm...

The Kitsune Klaw swiped the shield into the air once more, but Russ spun with the attack and bashed one of its claws into the ground with her Glaive, as she moved to swing the glaive back towards its face it tore up the patch of dirt its claw had been buried in and covered her in the earthly materials. She stumbled back a bit as the Kitsune Klaw moved in to pounce...

When it was interrupted by the massive tree which fell in between them. The Kistune and Russ watched as Amber tried to get up as the Ursa holding onto the tree went in for another lunge. Amber was saved as a spinning shield sailed from the side and knocked the Ursa off course. The Grimm careened off the tree and almost flattened the Kitsune had it not slid to the side as the larger beast. Russ caught her shield as Amber held a hand to her head before looking behind her.

"And like that, our grand team grows!" Citrine stated before grounding herself as the fallen tree jerked to the side. The other Ursa Major charged into the tree, kicking it up in the air, throwing Amber off as Citrine finally whipped out Goldern Hour and embedded the blade into the woods as The Ursa swung a massive claw into the Tree and sent it skidding several yards with her upon it.

Maroon, who had just finished gunning down the rest of the Beowolf pack, turned just inn time for the base of the falling tree to catch him in the face and throw him to the ground as it sailed by. The tree slid on the ground, one end barely sliding onto the edge of the chasm.

Maroon grumbled as he rubbed his head and fixed his glasses, he turned to watch as Amber and Russ took on the Ursa Majors and Kitsune.

"What the h-"

"And like that-!" Came a voice behind him, he turned to see when his sight was coated in bright light "-we are complete!"

"MY EYES!!!"

Citrine put a finger to her chin as she watched the Kitsune and Russ trade blows, Amber dodging out of the way of the Ursa's swipes and then down at Maroon who was rubbing his eyes frantically.

"Come!" she said loudly before hauling a still partially blinded Maroon to his feet and dragging him towards the brawl "Dear wolf woman! Allow my protégé and I to deal with the feisty feline! You and your butler shall deal with the heavy set individuals!"

"Butler?!?" was all Maroon was able to say before he was pushed directly into the brawl Amber was in with the Ursa Majors. The smaller girl immediately back flipped out of the way as the two Large Grimm turned their sights on him. He just had time to curse to himself and whip up his trivolver when the two leaped at him. He fired two shots before backing up, but only one Grimm landed where he previously stood. The other had gotten a face fool of shield and sailed off to the side as Russ careened into it.

She rode the Grimm to the ground before hopping off of it as it shook violently "Hey bro! check out these massive Teddies!"

"If it weren't for your assistance I would be absolutely furious with that statement." he said as the other Ursa Major got up "I'm still furious, but only less so."

The Kitsune prepared to intervene, when the barrel of a rifle appeared in front of its face "Apologies for ruining such a picture perfect face." Citrine apologized before pulling the trigger.

The Kitsune had ducked as the round tore through the air above it, and swiped with both claws as Citrine back flipped out of the way. Golden Hour transformed into a sword which she immediately used to block to more swipes from the Kitsune Klaw before rolling away as Amber leaped in and swung her leg into the side of the Grimm's head. As it reared back, the smaller girl's vector blades shifted back into pistol form which she immediately fired upon the Kitsune Klaw with.

As she moved quickly around the Kitsune Klaw, which moved its claws in order to deflect the bullets as she sun around it, Citrine took the time to sheath Golden Hour and walk around the brawl to snap several pictures before pocketing the camera once more and diving in.

Amber rolled back wards as Citrine spun through the air above her and raked Golden Hour's blade through the Kitsune Klaw's torso. The monster roared and swung both of its claws downward, creating a crater in the ground as Citrine took several steps back and let Golden Hour shift to its lever action shotgun form. The Kitsune Klaw tried to shield its head with its claws when the shotgun blast caused its arms to be forced to the sides.

Citrine immediately took a knee and whipped out her camera as Amber darted towards her from behind and leaped off her towards the Grimm Vector blades swinging. Citrine was able to catch the very moment Amber decapitated the beast and even several action shots afterwards.

As Citrine fawned over her newest pictures and Amber paused to take her breath, several yards away Maroon slid back as another Ursa swipe tore the ground up in front of him.

Russ was having a much easier time, her shield proved much more effective against the slower opponent, so she just had to keep moving around it and attacking it after deflecting a slash.

Maroon also found dealing with the Ursa Major less of an annoyance, seeing as they didn't slip and slide away like the Kitsune Klaw had. Backpedalling to load up more rounds, he once more leaped to the Ursa's side as it demolished his previous position before unloading more rounds into its back, the spines breaking off in several places and embedding themselves in the ground below.

"Russ, Dust incoming!" He shouted as he popped open the chambers of his Trivolver and slid a cylinder of red dust out of one of them. He tossed it over the head of the Ursa Charging him, and Russ caught it as she stared down the obviously exhausted Grimm. Sliding it into the pack on her back, Russ held out her glaive as a red glow traveled along the wire connecting it to her pack and began alighting her glaive's edge.

The Ursa leaped again, but this time she met it halfway by slamming the dust infused Glaive into the oncoming claw. The force was enough to ignite the beast's entire arm and send it skidding back. It rolled on its stomach and began to get on all fours when Russette's leaped up and came crashing down on the Grimm's back.

A she began hacking away at the Grimm, Maroon leaped onto his own Ursa Major's arm as it dived under him. He ran along the monster's arm firing rounds at the beast's head before leaping off the beast's shoulder and spinning the chamber's of the trivolver. He fired an ice round of dust at the Grimm, covering its legs in ice before covering its torso in the substance as well. Maroon took the time to reload the multiple chambers as the Grimm thrashed around in its icy prison, before he could finish it with the next volley however Russette careened through the back of the frozen monster and it burst into a sparkling display of Ice and dissipating Grimm pieces.

"I had that under control," he barked at Russ "how dare you deny me the right to finish off my opponent!"

"That was awesome!" Russ said in delight, her brother's anger going right over her head "We should find some more teddies to play with!"

"No time, fraulein!"

Maroon and Russette turned to watch as Citrine approached the Chasm "Our target lies below! We must descend into the abyss in search of the grand forgotten castle, lying in ruin. Waiting for the perfect photographer who would capture its fallen grace!"

"Who made you in charge?" Maroon hissed as he looked down into the abyss with an angry grimace

"Was that not what you were going to do as well Mister?" Citrine asked, cocking an eye brow as she climbed down and began scaling the chasm wall

Maroon held up a finger to retort as Amber followed Citrine loyally, but just sighed and rolled his eyes before following as well.
