The old Machinima days were awesome. I really wish there was a big community of good Machinima content again.

Heck yeah; especially with the video editors and what they can do nowadays. I am almost always excited for a TF2 animation when I find one I haven't seen before.

Yep, RoosterTeeth was part of Machinima for a short time before they hit it big. That's basically what Machinima was. It was the launching platform to get your stuff known.

Also Machinima is said to be well know for screwing people one reason why Rooster teeth left.

Yep, Roosterteeth is just one of the most famous/successful examples of machinima's popularity. I mean they are producing full length movies now for goodness sake; and all of the other personalities and businesses that came out of that time period are nothing to sneeze at.

Machinima did have a little bit of a reputation back in the day. Still, if you made it into their YouTube uploads, you were pretty much guaranteed a little bit of noteriety.
