Comedic relief is just as important as any other part of the story mein friend. It keeps people from getting scared of by all the tragic backstories.

Very true. However, the comedic escapdes that are sure to come can't end well.

That's the point Sensei, all comedy is derived from some form of misery or negativity. Kind of ironic since its usually there to distract people from misery and negativity.

Dun is able to teleport short distances with ease but longer distances are more costly to his aura reserves.

Dual revolvers firing pre-selected dust rounds loaded into cartridge cylinders.

Bio:

Grew up near the Western boarder of Atlas, about 3 hours walk from the ocean. At 13, Dun watched, helpless as his family was slaughtered by a pack of beowolves. He attempted to save them but received nothing but a large scar on his back where the claws of one of the beasts slashed him. It goes from his right shoulder to his lower left back. After his family died, Dun was put into an orphanage, but ran away within a month. He found a band of thieves whom he lived with and befriended until one day, the authorities caught one of them sneaking back into their underground hideout and commenced a raid shortly after. Dun managed to escape through an abandoned tunnel system with a couple of others. They split up and never saw each other again. Dun Hircum, 15, decided to make an attempt at a real job, honest work for honest pay, but no one would hire him because many recognized him. After being turned down a fourth time, he was given an offer by a stranger on the street. The man offered shelter, food, and pay for any work that Dun did. The teenager accepted the offer and returned with the man to his house. There he discovered that this man, only known as "Shaw", Dan a mercenary company. Over the next two years, Dun was trained in all sorts of fighting techniques from kickboxing to long range marksmanship. Shaw went out on a mission for the Schnee dust company, protecting a shipment, but never returned. Dun left the merc outfit and became a freelancer, taking any job he could find. The men he was working with betrayed him, however, and he was pushed out of a Bullhead in mid-flight. He was found near the city of Vale in critical condition, but made a recovery, yet not a full one. He had shattered his left arm during the fall and has it in a cast. He found some odd jobs around town, but what got him into Beacon was a contract he took to look for missing persons in an area with highly concentrated Grimm activity. He got them all back safely, while killing dozens of Grimm in the process. He was met with not only his employer but a spooled Bullhead with the pilot signaling for him to enter. He did and was taken to the school to meet Ozpin​

Who do you think would make good ships?

What, you mean between our characters?

Yup or ships between rwby characters. If it was like the show my character would either want Yang or Blake. He would settle for Ruby as a last resort but he wouldnt get along with weiss at all. He hates her company and her know it all attitude.

After doing some looking into it. Currently the most possible ships between our characters are:


Cobalt & Zephyr


And


Lovat & Gwyn.


These are likely to change, but are just the most possible outcomes for our current characters.


Everyone else is up in the wind at the moment, but really this isn't important whatsoever.

I know i was just curious lol. The dance is coming up if its like the show.

Just stick with NPC you grabbed for now, that seems like an assured possibility if you really want someone for the dance.

Isn't it a tad early to talk about ships? I mean other than the fights of the initiation, we've barely interacted with each other.

He asked a question that was answerable, albeit arbitrarily, I provided an answer based on previously gained knowledge and expectation. Take it with a grain of salt, you are correct in saying that low levels of interaction, if any, do not consummate in any form of meaningful relationships.

Dont misunderstand it was only a side question but i dont mean just love ships i mean mean friendships too. I know some characters wont get along.
