Extra Information:
Gavin was a game designer before he had to run away, taking careful care of his flashdrives that hold all of his work he could take with him when he left. He has a lot of trauma related habits, such as not wanting to make decisions and not trusting people to touch him. Once he trusts someone, though, he's a naturally affectionate person.

Name: Alexander Oliver Tellez
Age: 23

Extra Information:
He goes by Oliver publicly and uses Alex with Close friends and family. Gavin calls him both Alex and Ollie.
He is the son of CEO of TechniCorp, a very large corporation, and is wealthy and stuck up as a result.
Likes to fight, it's kind of a sick sort of addiction. He often street fights, or before Gavin left, just beat Gavin senseless. He rarely faces consequences, with his pretty boy persona in the public and the amount of money behind him.

Gavin watched as the night sky turned dark, and then started to rain. Gavin remembered a time where he could get out of the rain, but that felt like a distant past now, even though only a month he was living in luxury with his now ex boyfriend, Alexander Oliver in their nice apartment only a the son of a CEO would own. That changed pretty quickly. He sighed when it started to rain again, it had been raining frequently lately, and he couldn't go into any shelters because Oliver would find him and stand outside and harrass the shelter or overwhelm their phone lines. It just wasn't worth it, it was much better for him to just stay on the move and pop by for food every couple of days.

Gavin got into the park, hugging his backpack to his chest as he walked around for a place to lay down for the night. Everything in his backpack was wrapped in plastic and ziploc bags, doing his very best to protect his flashdrives and art the best he could while running from his ex. He hoped no one was patrolling tonight, it was a nice park, so he assumed there wouldn't be. His clothes were thin, a pair of sweatpants and a thin t shirt underneath a zip up hoodie. He did his best to stay relatively clean, washing his clothes in sinks and sneaking into gyms to take showers.

Gavin finally found a relatively isolated bench nearby and settled down, using his backpack as a pillow and curling up on his side as much as possible to keep warm. His clothes were already on their way to being soaked, and he knew that it would only get worse. At least his bruises had healed up almost completely from Oliver. He was doing his best to settle down, falling into as much of a sleep as someone could while cold, hungry, and in the rain. He didn't really expect anyone to be out here - the parks were supposed to close to the public at sundown, and now it was about 8pm.

Cason held his black-and-red themed umbrella above him, shielding himself from the cold pellets of water that came from the sky. Most nights were good for him to go and walk about...mainly to avoid flashing lights and being bombarded with questions. Being a CEO of a graphic-design company was not an easy task, especially when he was gradually rising in the ranks. Sure, he loved his job. Despite a lot of the stress, it was something Cason found himself to be passionate about and he wouldn't trade his position for anything else.

Walking in the park for Cason wasn't usually so wet and cold...but, he couldn't control the weather. Despite the rain, it was quite peaceful. At least, he thought so until he saw someone laying on a bench. Now he was just full of worry! Were they okay? Cason always felt empathy towards those who seemed to find themselves in bad situations. Apparently, this time was no different, seeing as how he was already approaching the figure on the bench.

"Hey," Cason spoke to the person, now being able to see them a little more clearly. Well, as much as he could when it was dark. "Are you alright? Do you need help?" His tone was, unlike the weather, warm and soft. "You'll catch something if you stay out in the rain," He chuckled a bit, trying to seem light-hearted and friendly. He didn't want to scare the person...after all, it was dark out. You never know what kind of people are lurking around. Then again, here he was, approaching a stranger on a bench.

Gavin had picked this park because it was supposed to be empty - police didn’t really patrol it, but the homeless rarely frequented it either because it was on the wealthier side of town. He hoped that gave him some safety, considering the last time he’d stayed outside with some homeless guys one of them took a paycheck from Oliver to rat Gavin out. As terrifying as it was to be on the run again, he couldn’t blame the guy, he understood being desperate.

Gavin was just starting to fall asleep - well, as much as he could while shivering in the rain, when he heard the voice, popping up and taking a few steps back, his hands in the air as if to show he wasn’t dangerous before he even processed what the man said. “I’m - I’m fine. I didn’t know anyone would be out here I’m sorry please don’t report me to the police I’ll just - I’ll just leave -“ Gavin sounded terrified - both of the man, and of what the man could do. His whole body was shivering pretty violently, and he was soaked from the rain, as it had been storming harder earlier. Standing up, the man could see just how skinny Gavin was, with the way his shirt stuck to his chest. “I um - I don’t have anywhere to go. It’s fine - I’m fine please don’t hurt me.” He pleaded quietly. He didn’t know what to make of the man at all, he had never come across this. What if this was some sort of trap?

Cason stared at the male in front of him for a moment, his lips parted only slightly as if he were going to speak...but he didn't. At least, not a first. The way the stranger reacted was shocking to Cason. Hurt him? He barely knew the guy! Why would he want to hurt him? Doing that kind of thing wasn't in Cason's nature...however, he wasn't oblivious to the fact that other people would stoop that low. People like that made Cason sick.

"I'm not going to hurt you," Cason said with a small sigh, eyeing the other's skinny frame. Poor guy; it made Cason a bit sad to see someone like that. Scared, alone...and not mention he was probably freezing. "Hey, look, I don't know why you're out here...and, it's none of my business to know. But..." He took in a sharp breath, shifting his weight on his feet. "If you need somewhere to stay, I'll let you crash at my place." Letting a random stranger stay in your home...real nice, real smart. The logical thing to do from the beginning was probably leave the situation alone- most people out here would. Then again, Cason was definitely not 'most people'.

Gavin was so scared of everyone he met. Whether it be because simply other homeless people were desperate for any break and therefore were more willing to steal, fight, or put Gavin in danger, or because anyone could know Oliver and Oliver had lots of money and he wasn't afraid to use violence to get what he wanted. The poor boy across from Carson was exhausted out of his mind, and just so scared, even in the darkness the fear on his face was obvious.

Gavin hesitantly wrapped his arms around his body after he wasn't instantly attacked, trying to converse energy more than anything. Gavin was still waiting for the man to pull out his phone and start calling the police, ready to bolt at the slightest threat. He hesitated when he offered - somewhere warm to stay was something Gavin would jump on. But could he really trust this man? What did he have to lose if the man hurt him? Nothing, really. "Um - that would be nice -" He said quietly, it was exhausting and painful to shiver for as long as he had. "Are you - sure? I dont want to make you uncomfortable."

Cason watched the male in worry- also with some slight curiosity. He wondered what had happened to him, and why he was out here like this. Of course, he wouldn't ask since it was probably a personal matter. If he wanted to reveal that...he could in his own time. "I am sure," Cason nodded in confirmation at him. His lips curled into another warm smile as he held his umbrella out for the other to get under. "I don't live too far, so the walk won't be so bad," He told the shivering male, trying to be as friendly as he could. Cason knew the trust had to be earned...and he was doing his best.

"I can also dry your clothes for you- You can borrow some of mine until they dry." Cason hummed, looking around a bit before looking back at the one in front of him. "That is, if you want me to. But I can imagine that you're very cold right now," He said, feeling a few cold water droplets fall on his shoulder. "I know this is odd and I'm just some stranger- but you have my words...no harm will come to you."

Gavin felt almost delirious, with the cold and the the exhaustion and the rain, he kinda felt like he was going to pass out at any given second. Why was he out here? He didn’t want to talk about that. He didn’t want to talk about it because that was almost definitely against the rules and he was oh so afraid of Oliver finding out he had broken any rules. “Okay - I don’t mind. I can handle being outside, Ive done it for this long.” He said, his teeth chattering as he got closer to the man to get underneath the umbrella and follow him, doing his best not to touch him as to not get him wet. “My name is Gavin.” He added softly a moment later, figuring that was important information.

Gavin listened to him offer to dry his clothes and the idea of dry clothes almost made him want to cry. He was pretty sure his clothes hadn’t been fully dry in a couple days now, considering the on and off storming that was happening lately. “That would be very nice yes - thank you.” He said quickly, keeping his head down as he followed him. While his next remark was probably supposed to be comforting, Gavin shook his head. “Don’t say that - you can’t promise that.” He said quietly. He followed Carson, keeping his head down whenever they passed a rare person on the street, not wanting to be recongized.

"That's a shame..." Cason frowned as he walked alongside the other, holding the umbrella handle with a firm grip. "Gavin...Nice to meet you," He hummed softly as he listened to the rain come down. After a moment, he introduced himself as well. "My name's Cason." He told Gavin, leading the skinnier male down a stone pathway that seemingly lead to one of the Park's exits. His home, as mentioned before, wouldn't be too far from the Park. It was a good 10 minute walk, but nothing too harsh.

Cason couldn't help but smile at Gavin's acceptance. "Of course! I mean, it beats walking around in soaking wet clothes. Don't want you getting sick or anything..." He trailed off, looking ahead as they walked. "Wh-..what?" He looked confused at Gavin's words, unsure if he even heard the guy correctly. "I'm not gonna hurt you, I promise," He told Gavin with a saddened expression. Apparently, Cason thought that Gavin was referring to just him; he was unaware of the things going on in Gavin's world. So, he was oblivious to the fact that Gavin could be referring to something else.

Gavin shrugged softly. He didn’t have that much to lose anymore really. Maybe his projects, where were carefully wrapped up in flash drives that he protected from the rain with layers of ziploc baggies. But there was no way to work on them, so the only thing he had to lose was comfort really. The rain had started to feel like razors on his skin, probably from how cold his was, and the rough wet fabric he was wearing was starting to leave sores where the seams were. He followed quietly, not seeming to have the mind really to make small talk. He didn’t want to accidentally say something wrong and get himself in some sort of trouble.

Gavin nodded - he definitely could get sick really easily as he was right now, wet and malnourished. That terrified him, because he hated being sick more than anything really. At Cason’s confusion he shook his head. “I don’t think you’ll hurt me.” He explained quickly. “But I’m - I’m not comfortable talking about it outside really.” He said quietly, silently hoping for Cason to let the conversation drop at least for now. Outside people could hear him and maybe they knew Oliver and Gavin really really did not want to see him again.

Cason wondered what all Gavin had with him in that backpack of his. He wondered about a lot of things about Gavin...he was a bit mysterious in his own right. Cason knew nothing much about him besides his name and that he had been sleeping outside for what he assumed was awhile. When Gavin mentioned not wanting to talk about his situation, he understood. Must've been something scary or something of the like. "I'm not gonna pressure it; you can tell me when you want to," He assured Gavin with a smile.

As they began to approach his home, Cason dug into his pockets for the key. Well, it was more of a swipe card. He lived in one of those places. "Welcome to my home," He chuckled as he opened the door for Gavin. The place was well furnished and looked cozy enough. Cason had an eye for decoration. "You can set your stuff just about anywhere...if you'd like, you can take a warm shower or something while I dry your clothes." He told Gavin as they entered the home.

Gavin had his most important possessions in his bag - it was not something he'd just let go of really. He had more stuff at Oliver's house - assuming he hadn't ruined it, but this was the stuff he needed to survive. a folder of his favorite concept art, his flash drives of work, pictures with friends. All carefully wrapped up. And a pocket knife, he carried in his pocket, like he'd actually be able to fight back against Oliver. Gavin nodded silently at the assurance, still rather caught up in the thought of Maybe Cason was Oliver's friend and he was going to die.

This place was uncomfortably nice for Gavin. He hadn't been in any sort of luxury since he left Oliver, someone who could afford some of the nicest things. "I'll - I'll keep my bag with me if thats okay. But a shower would be nice if its not too much trouble." He said with a soft nod. A shower sounded wonderful, a warm shower sounded like heaven. He did his best to stay clean, but it was hard on the streets. "I don't want to get - anything if yours wet." He was still shivering, even though the house was warm, following Cason to the bathroom.

"That's perfectly fine," Cason assured Gavin, showing the bathroom as well as instructing him on how the shower worked. It was one of those showers that had only one handle. He then gestured to the towels on a rack nearby for him to use. "I will go get you some temporary clothes." Cason told Gavin before he left the bathroom to retrieve said clothes. He returned moments later, placing the folded clothes on the bathroom counter. "Just place your wet clothes in the basket, I'll get them once you're down with the shower." He gave a warm smile towards Gavin.

"If there is anything else you need, just let me know." Cason told him before leaving the bathroom, shutting the door behind him as he headed towards the kitchen. The guy must have been hungry, right? Cason assumed so. He decided that he would make a nice, warm meal for the two of them. Nothing too out there...just some soup, really.

Gavin nodded, setting his bag down in between the toilet and sink, almost protecting it without really thinking. "Okay - thank you." Gavin said with a nod, going and adjusting the shower and waiting for him to bring his clothes. "Thank you - Thank you." He said. He nodded at the instructions. "Okay - I will." He said. He shut and locked the door, getting in the warm shower quickly. He let himself have 15 minutes of bliss before getting out, pulling on the clothes Cason brought him and tying the pants so that they stayed up on his hips.
Gavin made his way downstairs, finding the kitchen, coming in silently. "Do you need any help? Thank you for letting me take a shower." he said, coughing softly to let him know he was there. Gavin knew that he could scare people on accident if he didnt announce himself. he was still holding his bag in his hand

"Hm?" Cason looked over his shoulder for a moment before looking back at the pot he was making the soup in. "Ah! I got it, thank you!" He hummed softly, mixing the soup a little before turning off the stovetop and getting out two bowls, plus the spoons. "I assumed you were hungry, plus it's a bit chilly out so...I made soup." Cason chuckled softly, placing some of the soup in one of the bowls and placing it on the counter; then he did the same with the other bowl. "It's actually my grandma's special recipe...so she says." He shrugged, taking the bowls and walking over to a table and placing them down.

"Ah- You don't have to eat at the table." Cason told Gavin, just in case the other male felt obligated to do so. "You can eat in the living room or...wherever..." He laughed a bit nervously. "Forgive me, I'm a bit rusty with my uh...people skills."

Gavin was surprised to see him making food honestly - it made sense that if he was going to bring him in he would probably feed him, but Gavin wasn’t used to this sort of Kindness at all. Gavin nodded, carefully leaning back onto the counter to wait. “I am - yeah.” He said with a soft chuckle, shifting his backpack onto his back so he could carry his food. “Well - I’m sure I’ll love it either way.” He said with a hum, not quite a smile on his face, but he was trying. He was still significantly less frantic than when they first met, which was progress.

“Ah - I’ll just eat wherever you do.” Gavin said, shifting from foot to foot. He didn’t really like making choices anymore, they stressed him out majorly Incase he made the wrong one and then he’d be punished. Once they sat down - wherever Cason chose to sat down Gavin took a seat next to him, setting his bag between his feet. “So do you um - own a business or something?” He asked carefully, nodding to the nice house as he started to eat.

"Well, kind of." Cason said quietly, eating a bit of his soup before fully answering Gavin. "I'm, uh...I'm a CEO." He gave a sheepish grin towards the other; Cason didn't often like to talk about his job. Once he brought up he was a CEO, most people disregard anything else about him. He just wanted to be treated like a normal person who could have conversations. "CEO of a graphic design company, to be exact." He clicked his tongue before going back to focusing on the soup, swirling the spoon around in the broth a bit.

He began thinking about what to do with Gavin; of course, he'd let him stay here if that's what he wanted. There was a spare bedroom Cason could let him use. If not, he could figure out somewhere else for the guy to go for the night...even though it was a bit late. Maybe he could pull a few strings? Eh, he was getting ahead of himself. He hadn't even asked yet. "From what I understand, you've been out and about for quite awhile, huh?"

Gavin nodded - he’d figured as much. He’d been inside enough house parties and he knew the type of luxury people like Oliver were accustomed too and he knew that Cason had to be some sort of businessman. Trust fund babies didn’t have this sort of luxury. “That’s cool. More interesting than most of the businesses around here.” He said when he mentioned being a CEO for a graphic design company. Gavin liked that a lot - graphic design was fun, though not his primary area of practice.

Gavin would take the night to sleep here if he had the chance - but he assumed it wouldn’t go any farther than that, if that at all. Not a lot of people liked to help house someone running from the Tellez family, no matter how kind they appeared to be. Gavin understood, he didn’t blame them. He knew that Oliver had gotten cases dropped against him before by threatening people’s lives. “For over a month now, yeah.” He said with a soft nod. “It’s been raining a lot since I left, which is unfortunate.” By left he meant when he left Oliver’s house, but he didn’t clarify that, not seeming to really realize what he said.

"Ah, yeah. As stressful as it is; it's my passion." He nodded. Cason didn't press for details, despite how curious he was about Gavin's situation. "Well, you're welcome to stay here, if you'd like." He told him, giving a smile before finishing off his soup. "I should probably get your clothes in the dryer," He said, getting up from the table and heading towards the bathroom. It didn't take him more than a couple minutes to throw them in said dryer. "Oh! Also, how's the soup?" Cason questioned, raising an eyebrow.

Naturally, Cason was very friendly. Even if most of his life was surrounded by jerks who thought they were all that because they wore a suit and worked for a high-order company. He swore he'd never be like them; it just wasn't who he was or someone he even wanted to be. Just because he was a CEO didn't mean he had to be mean or nasty.

Gavin nodded. “Yeah I understand. Running a business can be really stressful.” He said with a nod. He was a little uncomfortable knowing that Cason was on the same level as Oliver, but it wasn’t super obvious. Besides, so far Cason hasn’t recognized him or made any indication that he was friends with Oliver, so maybe he was okay? Gavin wasn’t sure. “Staying the night would be wonderful, thank you.” Gavin nodded when he said he was going to move the clothes, continuing to eat and finishing up as he came back. “It was really good, thank you.” He said with a nod, taking his empty bowl to the kitchen to clean out without really thinking.
Gavin knew that he’d probably have to give more information if he wanted to stay longer than a night or so. Or, Gavin would give it voluntarily, as he didn’t feel like it was fair to put people in that much danger. Oliver was ruthless, and Gavin didn’t want innocent people getting hurt because of him.
