Cal narrowed her eyes, watching along the tail as it drew back, trying to pinpoint a location. Strange how shadows just melded around...the source... Realization came as both a non-surprise and disheartening. Of course they'd feed her to him, they had far too much history. She was why he was caught, after all, of course he'd want to be the one to end her.
Cracking her knuckles, she slid her hand back into her own shadows, becoming nothing more than smoke that was soon gone. As a third swipe came out, lower down in a sweeping motion, rather than for a piercing blow, she reformed in front of beetle boy. With her blade down, she let the tail impale itself with it's own force. It didn't, stopping just short of the blade. Lifting up, it whipped down with barely enough time for her to pull the kaijin through a warp with her. It was a small one, just enough to put him out of range of it. Her right shoulder took the blunt of it. It both hurt and didn't, and that wasn't a good sign.
"Don't touch it."
