When I said 'Cosmo Dropped' I was meaning 'ceased to respond'. I'm unsure whether they really dropped out, however. Also, I'm glad that you enjoyed Kara's app, but I really do have to read through all the posts; I'm the type of writer who takes in all of the information available to make a post -- even if my character wouldn't have noticed most of the things going on around them. That way, if I want to increase the scope of their interactions, I'm free to do so. It also lets me establish a strong grasp on my character's environment. It might seem a bit odd, but... That's just how it is.


That being the case... I'm thinking that I should enter only 'Detailed' RPs from now on, as the posting speed of roleplayers seems to be much more manageable.

Unfortunately, yes. It's unfortunate, because I used Kara in another RP and really loved using her... But I don't want to read through 5 pages of stuff and catching up to the present. Having her as a Neutral character that wanders around the academy with interest in literally everything around her is still an option, so feel free to make use of her if you wish.

Hmmm... This sucks. Alot of people have linked themselves to your character, and it would be a shame to lose you since there was a lot of conversation between other characters. Honestly all you truly need to do is read the posts you were tagged in.

Kara didn't directly converse with anyone, though... And, unless people have been mentioning Kara without tagging me, the only people that should have had any form of interaction with her directly would have been Cosmo and Tetro. If other people made a simple mention of her in their posts (like 'I saw a big orange monster-thing'), then making Kara a Neutral Character or simply taking that mention as a reference to an unnamed student would be fine. Regardless, my decision had been made. Sorry, once again.

And, unless people have been mentioning Kara without tagging me, the only people that should have had any form of interaction with her directly would have been Cosmo and Tetro. If other people made a simple mention of her in their posts (like 'I saw a big orange monster-thing'), then making Kara a Neutral Character or simply taking that mention as a reference to an unnamed student would be fine. Regardless, my decision had been made. Sorry, once again.

Well it seems like I can't stop you. Losing not one but 2 characters sucks though.

I understand you leaving, but I won't delete your characters at all. I'll make them neutral NPC students that I will allow people to use as reference but not actually play (unless Ensig finds someone to play Kara). If at ANY time you wanna join again, feel free but let me know first.

Oh those!!! Those are 3 soon to be 4 new students! I can't remember their names off hand but Sebastian will be teleporting them up soon, Hopefully today after the 4th one posts. I asked them to make one detailed post so I could have something to work with when Sebastian goes to grab them.


In other words 4 people wanted to join and they all made characters, we arranged something so I could take them up. @ArcticViolin y'know you can still join to, I saw you show interest.

Option F is option C combined with the tournament announcement. Since Zerath lied the students are unaware of the danger of going back down for the tournament, allowing for a scenario where the students are attacked at the tourney. This is good if you like tragedies.


Overall if you want the tournament to be announced, choose options D-F. If not then A-C will be your choices. It will be majority wins so be sure to ask me questions before voting.

Greetings, fellow RPers. I have not done a very good job as Onyx's Co-GM, and that is on me. I humbly apologize. On that note, I shall hopefully redeem myself with what I am about to say.


Onyx has poured his heart and soul into this role play. It is the most important thing to him as of right now, and should be treated with just as much respect as every other GM's role play. These are stories and ideas that our community have decided to share with so many different people, all of whom are talented at working together to bring a story to life (sort of). I ask of those who are currently involved in the role play to put your hearts and minds into your posts to create an enjoyable and intriguing story along with one another so that Onyx's story comes out the way he originally intended for it to. Those who cannot fulfill my request, see your way out. Now.


Those of you who remain, thank you. There are a few things that need to be discussed.


1. Post times. I love that you're interested in the role play and want to post as often as you can, but quality is always valued over quantity, and people need to be able to catch up without needing to read through 20 posts of interaction between two people. That being said, wait until two other people have posted after you've written a lovely post before you write another. We don't need the others to be too overwhelmed.


2. Length. Onyx, as I have said, pours his heart and soul into this role play. He puts thought into his posts and spends hours fixing code on the only device he is capable of using for RPN - a tablet. It's incredibly difficult, but his fear of losing people and his desire to continue his story wins out over his desire to quit. Please put thought into your posts and give a well thought-out response. This RP isn't labeled as Detailed, I understand, but try to write one whole paragraph*, if not more.


3. Clarity. Tag those you are speaking to and/or mentioning. Sometimes the notifications get buried among others and the people involved will lose track of the RP or where they might have been mentioned, causing them to potentially miss reading your posts. Tags go a long way to help.

That being said, I'm not sure everyone understood what Onyx did, although he wasn't too clear. There has been a time skip. According to his post, it has been a week since the students have arrived at the school, Ris'Saliance Aior. I hope I am clearing up any confusion. The students should show that some social progress has been made (perhaps those who were socializing like crazy are best friends now?), but other than that, not much progress with powers, since that is being saved for what's up next. I hope this hasn't inconvenienced many, since only a handful of posts were made after his lengthy post that involved Seraph's character. Thank you.

Those who have rated my post with a 'Hype Cookie,' thank you and you may put in a starter post if you haven't already been incorporated into the role play (for example, I've yet to introduce my character, Ayta, into the role play, so I must do something similar). Act as if your character has been at the school since day one and you can say they've avoided interaction, or you may talk amongst one another to see who has yet to introduce characters and see who may be friends and whatnot. My character is up for friendliness as well.


I apologize if I seem like a stick in the mud. I am not normally like this, and try to be social and friendly. This font, color, and size, are all only for announcements. Thank you once more for reading my posts and not leaving.
