Ling is a sweet, almost mom-like person. She does her best to help the people around her even if she doesn’t know them. She’s also hardworking and self-confident, making her a role model to many others. While Ling is often a quiet person, she is nowhere near introverted and has a plethora of friends. She is often seen with a large smile on her face, showing her happiness, and her confidence makes it to where people can’t knock her down easily. Ling also has a bit of a flirty side, showing it through coy remarks and smiles towards the person she admires. She gets a lot more flirty and affectionate as her and that person start showing their feelings for each other more, taking joy in flustering her love.

But for how great of a personality she has, oh boy does she have flaws. Her caring attitude for others can make her rather nosy, since she just wants to help and support people she tries to know everything about them, making her very clingy and very nosy. She also doesn’t quite know what personal space is, both physically and emotionally. Ling will cuddle people for hours if they give her the chance, and when she and someone get close, it makes it really hard for her to leave them alone for more than half a week.

Ling is a very romantic person, being an affectionate lover. She smothers her partner with kisses and hugs and she loves to buy them gifts practically every day. Ling has about 300 date ideas, and loves to be the one that takes her partner out to diners or scenic places.

She highly enjoys teasing her partners, seeing her loved one blush makes her feel all happy and giddy. And when they flirt with and tease her back she also gets super giddy, being all giggly and blushy. No matter what, Ling is just super in love with love. However, she hasn’t found her true love yet, having dated many people but it not working out. But she is still very hopeful for her future love life, and will continue until she finds the one for her.

Amazing with children due to the fact that she was raised in an orphanage. While a lot of adults would get annoyed by their behavior, Ling welcomes the children who know her to ask her a bunch of questions and to rant about whatever they please.

Two swoops of hair on the left and right side of her hair are often confused with her having animal-like ears with how they’re shaped. Her actual ears are hidden by all of the layers of fluffy green hair.

Her glasses are to see far away, she can still see things right in front of her without them. However Ling also likes how they look on her because while they might be large and nerdy, they give a soft touch to her appearance.

Scared shitless of horses. She tried to ride one when she was younger, but it bucked her off of its back and she ended up breaking her left leg because of it. The horse had also seemingly mistook her hair for food one time, which made for a traumatic point in her life where she had to get a buzz cut at the age of 6 and looked like a little boy.

Ling has potions for EVERYTHING. To make your hair flatter, to cure complete blindness, to make you taller or shorter, she’s got everything. Part of being a mage is knowing how to make these types of things, which is why she’s so knowledgeable on the subject. Ling is also great at knowing where to find ingredients, often foraging in the woods surrounding her hometown for them. This also gives her great knowledge of what things are poisonous and what things have medicinal purposes. This has led her to helping out the local apothecary a lot.

Ling is an apprentice for the most powerful and respected mage in her village and hopes to become a mage herself. She is skilled with both magic and alchemy.
