Elise looked to Leonardo "maybe she's right... let's just go" She said fearfully.

Leonard groaned and threw a rock behind the Canines.

What a stupid idea. It didn't distract them. It made them focus MORE on the group. And got the Canines to attack them.

"Smart move." Renny growled as she turned to run. "Follow me, we'd probably be able to survive this if he doesn't screw something else up."

"I thought it would confuse them." Leonard said. "How was I supposed to know?"

Great, the canines are more focused on us and my ability ran out. Looks like I have no other choice but to run, unless Noir has something. He looks at the situation one last time and decides to follow the girl. Why I'm I following the girl that made everyone come here in the first place?

Lavender huffed and touched the ground. It sent fire jolting up between the creating a line of fire from the canines and the humans. She grinned at her handiwork and quickly caught up to the rest of them. "Relax you two." Lavender said to Renny and Leo before another argument could take place.

"Don't blame me. It's HER fault we are running from murderer dogs! Not mine! She is the one who dragged me in here with her stupid death grip..." Leonard said.

"That reminds me." She said. And once again, Leonard was trapped by Renny. "Look. Neat fire trick. But we need to go before it's gone." She said, looking at Lavender. Leonard desperately tried to pull his arm away from Renny's with no success.

Elise held the dagger up "we should really move.." she said apprehensively "I think Renny knows a bit more than us" she continued, following the cave wall to the edge of the fire, waiting for it to go out.

"Are you ever happy with anything I do?" Lavender asked with a raise eyebrow. She snorted at a struggling Leo. She forgot sometimes that he was still pretty normal compared to the rest of them and then there was Elise. Lavender nodded agreeing with her question, but she was more interested in her. There something odd about Elise. Something strange.

Lavender shook off the thought. She was probably overthinking. "Yeah let's get moving."

"I'm not angry or anything. I mean. The fire...thing is very much impressive. Very...neat and bright." Renny said. "You're just patronizing her..." Leonard said. With yet another tight (and somewhat painful) squeeze on his arm, Leonard mumbled, but decided to shut up.

Renny began to lead everyone out of the cave, with Leonard being dragged along by his arm. The canines growled as they tried to find away around the fire. Until they just decided to jump THROUGH it. Sure it hurt for a second. But unfortunately. They aren't very flammable. So they weren't set on fire or anything. They recovered from the fire and started to run after the group.

"There they are guys. We need to hurry up!" Leonard said.

Andrew follows the girl and tries not to look back at the canines casing them. "So, how strong are these walls? Are they as strong as a stone wall, or stronger?" He says looking at the walls as he follows.

"It's not a cave. It's metal." Renny said.

Leonard looked very confused. Everyone who has lived after the event only knew of three materials.

  1. Sand. And lots of it.
  2. Rock. Practically gold to these people.
  3. And the "newly discovered" stone. Thanks to Leonard's handiwork.

Other than that... no one knew what metal or anything else was. Quite silly if you think about it. But no one here has ever seen it before.

Except renny.

"Metal?" Leonard said. "What...what's that? A kind of stone or somethin'?" He asked Renny as he reached to touch the walls of the cave with his free hand. It...felt like normal stone. It wasn't smooth. It wasn't shiny. It didn't feel like Metal.

"No. Metal is something you won't remember. I didn't even remember it. Until those monsters showed me. Metal is just as strong, or even stronger than rock." She said. She pulled a chip of metal out of her pocket. It looked like a metal spear head. "This is metal too. This...'cave' is handmade. With metal." Renny explained. "But enough questions. We still have to stay quiet and hidden from them." She said has she looked over her shoulder, checking to see if the canines had made back to them.

How does she know about metal? Whatever, I guess I'll put that on the list of questions I want answered, because right now isn't the time to be thinking about it. So if this place is made out of metal, then that means that this is a... building. Andrew continues to follow the girl.

Elise tilted her head, looking over the small piece curiously, the name metal made her feel strange, as if she had a memory just within reach, but every time she grasped for it it moved farther away.  She shook her head in frustration and followed the group, curious and hopeful they'd get out of this situation alive.  The creatures behind them scared her, it had taken the entire group to take down just one, meaning these numbers would be impossible to take on.  Apprehensively, she looked to her companions, the group of them had felt fairly confident about taking them on moments ago, well, all except Renny, who clearly knew more than they did.  It gave her some confidence, however small, that her friends were optimistic about their situation, because she herself was quite terrified.

Lavender marveled at the metal piece. "That's so cool." She whispered reaching out to gently touch the metal piece. She wished she could remember all of the neat stuff before the world ended, but there didn't seem to be any hope of that. It was safe to assume Renny knew everything and Leo may have had some type of idea, but for the rest of them their memories were lost. Her eyes landed on Elise and a frown decorated her feature. "Why are there numbers on your shirt?"

Elise looked down to her shirt curiously, there was in fact a 5 digit number across the front and back of her shirt, matching the one previously mentioned on her wrist.  She shook her head to Lavender "I'm sorry, I really don't know" she said honestly, looking back to the creatures "A-are you sure now is a good time to talk about this?" she asked apprehensively, partially to change the subject and also partially because of her own fear of these creatures.  Giving a light shrug in hopes of reassuring the girl she tried to answer as best as she could "I just... woke up like this, I don't remember anything"

Renny saw Lavender looking at the Metal. She tried to hand the spearhead to her. "If you guys are worried. You shouldn't. Logically speaking. You should be paralyzed in fear. But you aren't. And you just took down one of those things. Nothing to be afraid of." She said.

Leonard shot a strange look at Renny. She sighed "Well. It's a figure of speech. Look. Don't worry. We'd be out of here soon. Then..." Renny said. She didn't intend on ending that sentence.

Unfortunately, the Canines soon came into view behind the group.

"FnId th3m. 3lmeate th3m."  The canines said in their language. They laughed, like deranged hyenas. They continued the chase and Renny started to run, with Leonard still being dragged along. "Hurry up! They're right there!" Leonard said.

"Ah sorry you're right." Lavender said to Elise. Lavender grinned and accepted the spearhead mumbling a small thanks in reply. She stuffed it in her short pockets. "Then what?" She raised an eyebrow at Renny, but didn't receive a reply as the canines were once again chasing them. She huffed and took off running.

That's weird, I somewhat understood what they were saying. Could this mean that there language is a twisted version of English? Well I know those other two defiantly spoke English. He starts to run faster, keeping up with the group as they run from the canines.

Renny pulled another metallic object from her pocket. A knife. "You. The other girl. This is a metal knife. Didn't you have one too?" Renny asked as she continued to run.

The cave was like a maze. How far deep where they? And what if they were only going DEEPER?

Elise let out a short yelp and took off after her friends, daring not to look back towards the canines that were chasing them out of fear.  She managed to keep up with the others, but just barely.  With a nod, she held up the knife that Andrew had given her "Yeah, I have one, but i'm not really sure what to do with it"
