There are lots of places in the world worth to live in or to be visited. Some of them attract you to their sights, others have more possibilities one to make a swift career and there are places known as cultural centers. But there are few of them which combine all above-listed with the amenities of urban life and the advantages of a big modern city and still have features of old towns therewith. No Such place exists as of last year, Everything was lonely and torn down to the point of waste. He sighed, turning off his motor after driving a few hours, he pushed his cycle closer to the city. "Sh*t.. this will be a huge mistake.." he said softly, moving his to the side of the road, the city ahead of him. He covered it with leaves and grass placing it behind some bushes Just in case someone where to pass by and see it. He began his trudge down the road to the city. 'I need supplies..' he thought, 'If it wasn't because of that i wouldn't have to do this sh*t" He eased the wrinkles out of his jacket, unzipping it to be able to move more freely, he checked his pockets making sure everything was in it's place. He reached back gripping the handle of his machete, feeling the hard plastic in his palm. It felt like home. It felt like another appendage.

He never thought killing other people, let alone dead ones, Was going to be his future. And to think he could of wasted all his time in the special forces. He chuckled with sarcasm, looking around, no zombies in sight. They must of all been in the city. And that wasn't good considering he was walking into the mouth of the beast. The soles of his shoes where worn to the point of almost tearing. He looked down at his worn boots and figured it was a good chance to risk his life for new boots.

Zane looked up at what seemed to be large storm clouds forming atop the dark city. "This is not good.." With the streets taken over by vegitation and dirt it would become a mudslide of mistakes for him and the un-dead who followed. He had to move quickly.

Reaching the edge of the city he hid behind a rusted over Honda laying on the road on its side that had been rammed into a tall building a long time ago, it seemed. His finger tips, Stained with dirt and coal, touched the cold rusted over car as he edged his head from the back end to look at the crouded streets. He sighed and moved behind the car once more. There where dozens of them crowded around the police station he was aiming for. "Crap.." he breathed out taking out his machete. "This wont be fun..." He pulled a cigar out from his pack and placed it in his mouth, lighting it. A smirk overcame his face, as he moved the cigar to one side of his mouth with his tongue.

Let the games begin.

Adrianna leaned over, to peer from behind the corner of the building. She held her Pocket Knife, while glancing back at her brother, Chance. He stood quietly behind her, his brown hair consumed by a beanie that fluttered over his scalp. She motioned a quick 'Shhh' To Chance as she rounded the city. You see, they were in Savannah, Georgia. The town was heavily populated by the undead or crawler's as they called them. Adrianna walked, with her brother close behind, turning her head at every creak or noise that alerted their attention. Chance held his Dagger at hand as he Anxiously walked down the blood stained side walk. The path ahead was cleared.

Chance took a quick glance behind himself, "Where are they?" He mjmbled outloud, gripping the handle of his dagger tightly before, loosening the grip.

Adrianne shrugged as if it was no big deal, but deep down she had a nervous feeling. "No Clue, they're hiding somewhere no doubt." She suggested, clicking her sneaker's on the pavement slowly

The sky got slightly darker as a storm begin to roll in. A white German shepherd moved through some cars searching for one thing, humans. Behind the large dog there was a woman. Her almost white hair flicked around in her face as she walked silently through the cars. She had her pull string cross bow aimed at eye level. Her foot hit some glass on the ground and she mentally slapped herself. There was a lone shuffle as a zombie got up from the ground and begin making its way toward her. The ugly bastard was groaning, giving away her position. Todd, the German Shepherd, begin to growl. The girl clicked her tongue and the dog backed away. She strapped her crossbow across her back and pulled out her hunting knife. She moved forward and slammed her knife in the zombies skull. She laid it down and clicked her tongue again.

She turned and her eyes laid on a male. He was standing there with a cigar hanging from his lips. Oh what I would give to have a cigarette. She groaned in her head. She clicked her tongue three times and her dog hid. She also ducked down watching the man. She moved from car to car. She was close enough to smell the cigar as he smoked it. She slid her knife back into its sheath and swung her crossbow around. She then stepped on more glass making a loud crunching sound. She winced and slid down behind the car.

His head turned quickly as his ears took note of the crunching glass a few feet in front of him. He ducked back behind the car and put his cigar out knowing the smell would give his position away. He silently made his way across the grass covered sidewalk, his eyes catching the tip of a bow as it vanished behind a few cars. 'Another human....?' he thought. He hadn't seen another living soul in their right mind in a long time. He hoped it wasn't another crazy person with the idea that EVERYONE was the enemy. He understood that people were cautious of others considering the scarce resources, but he didn't know why people would go against other living people. It was a war against the living dead not the few still living.

He slid behind another car and stood up, his back against the bottom of a turned over car. "I know you are alive.." he whispered in their direction hoping he wasn't wrong. Years of military training never prepared him for a complete apocalypse, and seeing another human soul would be a relief to him at this point. "I won't hurt you.. please identify yourself.." He kept his senses sharp just in case he attracted any attention.

The white dog, Todd, stalked up behind the man. Todd begin to growl loudly. He snapped at the man. The girl jumped up from her spot and looked down at her dog. "Todd! No!" She spat out in her Russian accent. She then clicked her tongue twice and the dog ran toward her. She held her cross bow up at the man. Her eyes trained on him. He looked important like he worked for the government. He had that edge. The girl took a few steps forward as she spoke out to him trying to make sure her words could be heard right. "What is your name?" Her eyes shot to her dog the snapped back to the man in a split second.

He smiled at the dog a bit as it barked. He hadn't seen a live animal in years. He was beautiful. His eyes shot up as the girl yelled and he gritted his teeth. "Zane.. you really should be quiet" He lit his Cigar again, walking towards her a bit, putting his machete away. "are you going to shoot me or point at me all day?" he asked spitting and putting the cigar back in his mouth to one side. He pulled out his machete and turned around ramming it into the side of a walker's head. The bastard was quiet but not quiet enough. He watched it drop and smirked yanking the machete out from the side of it's head and wiping it on the dead bodies clothes.

"You are?" he looked back at her, his left hand resting on the butt of his S&W sitting at his belt. His eyes rested on her own gaze waiting for an answer. On the inside he was happier than he had been in a while, seeing another human being in front of him.

The girl bit her tongue trying not to snap at the male who she now knew as Zane. She lowered her weapon some, kepping it pointed at him. She huffed and eyed the cigar. "The name is Riot. This is Todd" She smirked as she glanced down at Todd. "You should not talk to someone like that who has a military trained dog." she took a step away from him keeping her guard up. "What are you doing out here, Zane?" There was the sound of stumbling in the background. She turned around with her crossbow aimed at eye level. There had to be between twenty to forty zombies coming their way. "We need to go." She turned to the man she just met. "Now."

He was going to say something but stopped himself as he saw the crowd of zombies heading their way, and nodded. He turned on his heel dashing towards a broken store window ahead of them with a large truck rammed through it. he jumped up, his boots pressed against the large wheel of the truck as he jumped through the broken glass. He pulled out his machete a small flashlight from his pocket shining it ahead of him in the dark store. The shelves were empty and the place was desolate. He swung his machete to the left catching the neck of a walker, taking it clean off. He continued walking along the side of the wall, making his way to the back. He reached a small set of stairs leading up to the roof. He climbed up pushing a huge metal door open. He climbed up and over into the roof. He quickly looked down the empty stairs he had just climbed waiting to see if the girl had followed him.

He knew the dog wouldn't be able to climb so he bent down his hands ready to pull him up. "Hurry!" he yelled hoping she had followed.

Riot took off clicking her tongue at the dog. Todd launched over the truck. Right after him Riot slid over the hood and slid into the store. She looked up to the roof and picked up Todd. She handed Zane the dog and begin to climb herself. She climbed through the opening and slammed the metal door shut. She fell back on her bum and took a breath. " Nasty bastards..." She mumbled. "I really need a drink." She huffed as she stood and walked to the edge of the building. She looked down at the zombies. "Look at 'em. Just wanting a bite of us." She huffed and looked at Zane. "What now pretty boy?"

He grabbed the dog and set him down watching her plop down on the floor in exaust and getting back up. He smirked and touched his chin "So I'm pretty?" he smirked and pulled out a half full tequila bottle and a ciggarette handing it to her. "Drink and take a drag, we might have to jump from roof to roof.." He looked over the edge too his eyes catching the sight of the police station. It looked secure and most of all... Untouched. He knew no one had raided the police station because the city had been over run too quickly for anyone to take advantage. He rubbed the back of his head looking around trying to find a way into the building.

"If we can make it to the station and get in we might have a chance at a hot shower and clothes.. maybe some weapons and food if we are lucky.." He shrugged, looking away from her and looking at the structure of the building. there was a heavy duty chain link fence in the back of the building keeping the dead from getting in. He wasn't sure if there where people inside of the police station who might of been infected and stayed inside. He put his cigar out and placed the big chunk that was left back into his pocket.

Zane was a good tactician but he had been out of the force for a while and he was a bit "rusty" as one would say. He HAD been in prison for a while as well before the infection hit. He cracked his knuckles and put his machete away.

"What do you think..?" He turned to her.

Riot slightly smiled and raised an eyebrow at Zane. "Yes you are so pretty." She hissed at him with her thick accent. She then turned and looked at everything. She studied the police station, watching it closely. She turned to Zane and strapped her crossbow across her back. She winked at Zane and took off toward the edge. She jumped and landed on the next building but fell as she landed. She clicked her tongue and Todd launched himself next to Riot. "Come on pretty boy!"

He smirked and followed jumping off the edge and landing on his feet hard at the other side. It sent a shooting pain up his legs but he ignored it trying not to feel out of shape in front of the girl. he walked over to the next edge and looked ahead. 6 more buildings and they would be at the police station, but then what? How would they get in? He ran across a metal board laying over the gap and looked back. "come on Ritz and bring lassie with you" he laughed a bit mocking her and jumped the next gap landing on his ass at the other side. He stood up and wiped the dirt off his ass.

Riot growled and chased after him across the metal board. She then jumped and clicked her tongue. She landed on top of Zane, making them fall to the ground. She jumped up and took off jumping to the next building. "Sorry pretty boy. Just couldnt keep my hands off you!" She called out in a mocking tone. She then carefully walked across the wooden beam. "Two more!" She called out as she waited for him and her dog to get to her.

He fell again as she dropped on him and grunted, getting back up as she dashed off, he after her. He jumped from roof to roof eventually catching up, out of breath a bit but still with good composure. "Whatever.." he rolled his eyes a bit and grabbed his tequila bottle drinking from it and putting it back into his bag. "Lets get this over and done with so i can get back to my ride"

He walked passed her and jumped over the last rooftop finnaly ontop of the police station, he looked around for a entrance. There was a metal door leading down to one of the rooms in the station. HGe reached for it and gave it a good shake. It was locked.

"Great.. now what?" he sighed and looked over the edge, it was clear. There were walkers on the other side of the fence. "We could jump down i suppose..." he ran his fingers through his jet black hair and wiped the sweat from his brow. jumping down onto the lid of a trashcan that instantly imploded making him land in garbage. "F*ck!" he yelled climbing out kicking a banana peel from his boot. "F*cking trashcans..." He pulled out his machete and headed towards the huge metal door at the back of the building. His eyes steady watching the walkers as they made a racket against the chainlink fence 20 feet behind him sorrounding the back and keeping him safe from the stench of death that would surely ensue if it where to be penatrated.

Riot looked over the building after jumping and watched Zane fall into the trash. She giggled as she slid down a drain pipe and landing on the ground with grace. She walked past Zane, pulling off her cross bow, she tapped on his forehead. "Think pretty boy." She winked and aimed her crossbow at eye level as she kicked open the door. She called back to him after searching the downstairs. "Clear! Put the dumpster in front of the door and close the door!" She stood at the bottom of the stairs with her cross bow pointed up them. "Hurry lets go!"

He growled under his breath and yanked the trashcan to the open door then closed it. He got his machete ready and turned on his flashlight getting in front of her to light the way. It was empty and quiet but everything seemed untouched. There was dust everywhere. It was unsettling and the smell of moisture in the air caught his nose.

"Seems like everything is clear in here..." he said putting his machete at his side crouching a little as he turned the corner into the main hallway heading towards the storage units to search for supplies. "Im sure there is an emergency generator somewhere.. why dont you go find it and turn the light on? ill go look for some weapons and clothes to change into.. we might be able to spend the night here.." he smirked at the thought of that. He wanted to take a well needed shower. He hated to leave his ride back a mile from the city but it was getting dark and it was just beginning to rain, he could hear the drops hitting the roof.

He put his machete away and pulled out his .500 caliber from his shoulder holster aiming it down sight the flashlight underneath military style as he took caution turning the corners again into the separate rooms. They were empty from what he could tell. The police had evacuated one the virus hit to protect the city and no one remained. Nothing could get in or out. It had been secured.

"This might be the only untouched place in the city.." He mummbled to himself finding everything in its place.

Riot looked at each of the doos. She spotted one that read mechanical. She opened the door and checked the room. No zombies. She looked around finding the back up generator. She flipped a few switches and the lights came on. She called out to Zane. "Turn off the down stairs lights!!" She walked out of the room and begin to look around she pushed open another door and found showers. "PRETTY BOY!!" she shouted. "COME HERE!!"

He saw the lights go on and breathed out easily seeing the rooms clear. He ran downstairs turning off the lights and heard her voice calling him. "What the hell is it with the pretty boy crap.." he face palmed and walked towards her putting his gun away and the flashlight into his pocket.

He looked at the showers and laughed a bit "Oh man! yes!!!!" he quickly ran in taking off his jacked and his shirt. "It has to have a water reserve it HAS to.." he turned on one of the showers and the water seeped out in all its wet glory he felt like almost crying. he dipped his head underneath the water stream. It instantly cooled his head, he looked at the drain the water turning slightly brown from the dirt he had accumulated for the past few months of only using a rag and river water to clean off.

"God this is sooo good" he pulled his head out and turned the water off. "You can shower first im going to go check out the rest of the place.." he smirked and ran his fingers across the dogs head petting him. "Good boy..enjoy.." he grabbed his gun again and headed down the hallway towards the supply room to check it out.

Riot smiled as he left the room. She then looked down at her clothing. They where only a day old. She hit up a clothing store yesterday. "Ill just use these." She walked over to some lockers and dropped her clothing on the bench. She then grabbed a towel and stepped under the water. Her brown hair turned almost white as she washed the grim off of her self. Once she was done she dried off and slipped her clothes back on. She turned on the water and washed her dog as well. The water running fairly clean. "How do you stay so clean mutt!" She giggled at the dog in her accent. She dried him off and walked out. She walked passed Zane and twirled, her blonde white hair falling in her eyes. "Your turn pretty boy!" she smiled as she took off into a room looking for a good room to sleep in.

He had found two colt .45 and a semi automatic shotgun with a box of 12 shells. There wasn't much. When the police was called out they took most of the fire power in the armory. They had left a few vest and a few black boots that where a size too big but it would have to do. He packed up what he found and walked out into the hallway just as riot came by telling him it was his turn.

"Sure thing Ritz" he smirked and walked passed her and into the shower. He placed the bag of guns down on the floor. he took the rest of his clothes off and stepped into the warm stream of water gushing from the shower head in front of him. It was refreshing he looked at his feet watching the brown water slide into the drain. He washed his hair with the shampoo and conditioner left at the shower by the last person who had bathed there before the outbreak. It was refreshing getting a shower after a few months without comfort. This was a luxury compared to what he had been through in the past few months.

When he was done, he put on some new underwear he still had from a raid a few weeks back at a walmart. He put on some fresh army pants and the boots he had found in the station. They felt comfortable on his feet. He had been walking for 2 months before he found his cycle so his feet where hurting. He put on a white muscle shirt and his dog tag and walked out into the hallway after washing his dirty clothes and hanging it up.

He walked around the station finding the cells in another room in the back.. There was a person in one of the cells. He was thin and slouched up against a wall.

Zane sighed and leaned up against the cell, his forehead pushing up against the bars. It was a girl, He wasn't sure if she was dead or not but she was huddled in the corner. She must of snuck in here somehow.. But how? And was she alive? He tried to open the cell but it wouldn't budge.

"Are you alive?" He called out to her. "Hello?" he looked around for some type of way to open the cage.

((Who is in the cell? O_O))

Riot found the room where the police would spend the night. There was 4 beds. She then left the room as Todd jumped up on one of the beds. She walked down the stairs to the kitchen. There was not much but there was a few cans of food and crackers. She looked around more coming into the room where Zane was. She looked past him looking at the girl. She leaned on the thresh hold and watched quietly. Riot then grabbed a ring of keys that where laying on a desk. She walked over to Zane and handed him the keys. She slung her crossbow around and aimed at the girl. "Go ahead. I have your back." She motioned to open up the door to the cage.

((LOL it's Marira she told me to find her -_- ))

He put the keys in his pocket and stood up straight "No.. i wont open the cell untill she wakes up and talks to us.." he stepped back to the door "If she wants out she can ask.. this isn't charity" He didn't want to be cold hearted but he needed to make sure he wasn't too much of a softy. It was an apocalypse out there and it wasn't time to act soft.

He walked past riot and touched her shoulder "shes safe in there and we are safe out here.... for the most part" He let go and walked into the bunks putting his bag down and laying his machete underneath the pillow. He then layed back trying to give his body a rest. He wasn't really sleepy but his body was tired.

Riot raised an eyebrow and plopped herself in a wooden chair. She kicked her feet up on a desk and picked up a pair of those cool cop glasses. She giggled lightly as she placed them on her face. She then started looking through the drawers. She found a rubber band ball and begin taking it apart. She then looked over to Zane who was laying on a bunk. She eyed him closely, studying his features for the first time. He was a well built man. He was strong. Possibly in the military? She would have to ask later. She kept her eyes on him looking at how strange he was. Different? Todd padded his way into the room and hopped up on the bed with Zane and laid down.

Isabella wasn't aware of how long she slept, or what became of her dreams. If anything, they weren't far from reality. Since the outbreak that was the only thing her mind was able to recur: the initial outbreak, the traveling, the running, the killing, the repetition of all these things. It was hard to tell what was real, and what was only a dream. As for Isabella, she prayed that all of it could be a dream, a whole scary slew of them, so that she'd wake up to fresh, clean sheets surrounding her, a soft cushion underneath, with a smell of lilac. But just as she can't control reality, she cannot control her dreams, only when to stop them.

Slowly waking from the last, her body slowly stirred against the large coat, her eyes still heavily closed. It was only a dream... she reminded herself, something she's told herself so many times like a record. She could have sworn she heard footsteps somewhere, too close for her nerves. An instant bout if energy surged from her core, first shooting through her head, warming her scalp, prying her shadowed, bloodshot eyes open before dropping down to her limbs, groping her nearly emaciated body for her knife and gun. She got up, her vision obscured by darkness as she felt for the cage.

"Shit." She croaked, wondering how long she had been asleep; resting after two days of no sleep could have very well cost her life. She rested on the bars until the blood rushed back to her head, looking at the lock. Crouching back over her belongings, she gingerly thumbed through her bag, pulling out one of the barbs she removed from her hair the other day to use as a lockpick. After a moment of adjusting the barb and jimmying the lock, she finally managed to shift the latch in the right place, opening the cell door. As she stepped out, gun in hand, she left the rest of her belongings in her cell. She wasn't ready to leave just yet.

He looked over at the dog and smiled a bit, petting him. "Hey budd" he said softly remembering the last time he saw his own dog. The apocalypse had taken a lot from him. His sanity being one, unless he had already lost it before it even began. He laid there thinking about everything and his head began to hurt. He got up and sat on the bunk. He couldn't sleep. But then again who would be able to with all the dead roaming around.

He looked over at riot and caught her looking at him. "Something wrong...?" he said softly pushing his back against the wall, his hand still caressing the dog softly. Before he could get an answer he heard a loud noise coming from the cell.

"Is she up?!" he got up quickly grabbing his S&W and waited or the footsteps that began to come towards them. He pointed now at the doorway.

"Who are you!?" he asked, waiting for her response. He didn't understand. Just a few months ago he would of killed to find a living soul who hadn't lost their mind, yet here he was with 2 women and he was already beginning to get frustrated. Would they slow him down or prove an asset? That is assuming they would tag along. As much as he wanted to have company he didn't want to be killed because of some human interaction.
