Ulfdr


Ulfdr straightened himself ad easily looked over the crowd. "There is a tall man in metal armor leading a small band of what appear to be other important warriors...an elf woman with a metal arm...a human woman with a rifle...A snow haired elf girl..and a bearded man with a griffin." He said. "The man in armor seems to be cheering...they must have been victorious in battle..." He added, putting his flute (I changed it to a wooden flute for story reasons...sorry) to his mouth and playing a note terribly. "Do you think i'd even be able to be a musician or artist?" Ulfdr asked MJ, distressed at the quality of his first note. 


Knsy


Kyns looked down at the woman and smirked, taking her hand as delicately as possible (hydraulic powered arms and all...) and shaking it. "You've met Vinn huh? Yeah he's a great guy, in fact I just saw him." He said with a smile, turning and revealing Vinn standing behind him. Vinn's mouth gaped for a moment, and Kyns continued on his way, moving past Zelia and patting her on the shoulder. He walked through the crowd, accepting hugs and handshakes until he accidentally elbowed a wolf kykdren in plaid tribal clothing, who was standing in the crowd with a young elf girl. "Sorry Buddy." He said, looking the kykdren in the eye for a second, then continuing his way through the crowd. 


Vinn


Excited to see his little friend, Vinn embraced her in his arms and swung her around, smiling and laughing. "Zelia! I'm so glad you're here, how did you know i'd be landing in Binbig??" Vinn asked, looking around for Soma. "Sorry, Soma seems to be a little behind...i'm sure she'll give you a huge feathery hug once she catches up..." He added.

Zoey


Zoey walked happily at Veda's side out of ship, nodding happily to the girl's response. Hearing Veda talk about Gabe let reality hit her hard,she stood next to Veda, her face had gone pale. She thought about her...used to be friend, Garik. The one who she had led to death at the hands of Joseph Lawrence, then Joseph, the mob leader who had brought her here but shortly disappeared after they had met Veda, she shook her head, clearing these thoughts away and smiling at the crowd of cheering citizens and yelling soldiers. "We really did it." she said, turning to Veda. "Will you stay for the festival?" she asked the girl, hoping she'd stay for the celebration before returning to Gabriel's bookshop. "I think the last bit of people are setting up, let's go enjoy ourselves!" she said happily, extending her hand out to the other and bowing in a comical manor.

Ivy


Ivy walked slowly towards the ongoing crowd that seemed to have almost the entire population of Binbig, she had gotten here last night and slept in a bed for the first time in weeks, she had walked from the ruins of the temple to Binbig over the course of several weeks, only stopping to sleep and look for food. This new city was very strange to her, the technology extremely confusing but she had managed.  She looked ahead, pulling herlself from her thoughts and saw the heroes stepping off of what seemed to be a large "airship" there was one in a large suit of armour, the other had a metal arm another a large rifle, as the rest came out she turned her attention to a vendor saying things about free wooden fluits, there seemed to be a Kykdren and some girl with him. She decided to keep her distance for the time being and to continue observing the events that would occur.

"Sure you can. It just takes hard work and dedication. I recommend getting an art book or music book. That way you get to know about it before you begin actually doing it. I believe you can do it though." MJ finally could see the cities hero, gawking at the technology on them. "WOW! Look at that guys armor." she said as the man accidently bumped into Ulfdr. "And look at the woman with the robot arm. I wonder who mad it, it looks so well made." She watched them as they past by giving them a shy wave. She looked behind at the crowds of people and seen Derek. He was a good ways away, but she quickly put on her hood afraid that he would see her. "So, Ulfdr, what do you want to do now?"

Zelia


Zelia was so happy to see a familiar face. She ran towards him and was embraced in a giant hug. Zelia laughed and smiled at Vinn as she was gently put down. She looked at the tall man and grinned. "I heard there was a festival coming soon and your brother was involved, so I thought I should say hello! It's so good to see you again!" I haven't felt this happy in a long time... she thought. She looked at Vinn and smiled saying it was okay that Soma wasn't around quite yet. "I'm just happy to see you."

Ulfdr


Ulfdr rubbed his side and watched the troop of warriors walk by. He looked down to MJ, seeing her quickly put her hood on. "I'd love to sfind some music to play on this...but I walso want to see where those warriors are going, you can decide what we do." He said, trying to see what startled MJ so much. "Something wrong? You look as though you've seen the ghost of a fallen nemesis!" Ulfdr said.


Vinn


[SIZE= 14px]Vinn turned and whistled loudly, trying to summon Soma to his side. From the ship, Soma looked up and got off of Aurora's lap, then darted out of the exit doors, flapping once to aid her jump as she screeched and fell into the crowd. People frantically moved to make roomfor the beast. Soma landed close to Vinn, then moved to his side and rubbed her face against his. [/SIZE][SIZE= 14px]"Soma, do you remember Zeila?" [/SIZE]He asked his feathered friend. Soma looked at Zelia and sniffed her face. Her ears perked up at the familiar scent and she got excited. She bounced behind the girl, put her head under her legs and hoisted the girl up onto her back. Giving the girl a 6 foot height boost over the crowd with Soma's sheer size. Vinn laughed and got up on Soma's back too, there was no saddle for any support, so riding the bird was going to be a little hard. Vinn grabbed Soma's feathers and steered her to follow Kyns. "How have you been ZZ?" Vinn asked, adjusting his LMG's strap on his back.
 
Zelia


Zelia laughed at Soma jumping excitedly. "I thought you guys would have forgotten about me..." She smiled. Soma hoisted Zelia onto her back. Zelia was sent flying a little bit, but landed safely onto Soma's back. Zelia looked at Soma and examined the small wounds on her back. She said nothing but wondered, What happened to you guys? Vinn climbed onto Soma's back and began to follow Kyns. She continued staring at the wound until his question pierced the silence between them. "My, someone hasn't called me Zi-Zi in years!" she laughed. "Well, after I lost you I wandered for I bit. I met a man who took me in, in exchange for taking care of his livestock. And, we both know how fun that can be..." she said sarcastically. "But, once I had heard Kyns was arriving here I decided to pack up and get here. I've stayed here for a couple days until you arrived. If you need a place to stay I know of a great place that we can go to after we're done." Zelia stared into the sea of people. This is more people than back in my hometown! It's a celebration indeed. She looked at Vinn with a sheepish look. "If you don't mind me asking...." she stared into his eyes and said, "What happened to you guys?"

MJ put her focus back on Ulfdr when he asked her a question. "Oh, it's nothing." she lied. "Just someone I know, that I really don't want to talk to." she sighs giving him a smile. "I think I seen a book store in the direction they are walking in. We can follow them until we get to the shop." She quickly grabs his arm dragging him through the crowd, afraid Derek would try coming over and questioning her again. "Do you think these are the people the Mayor was talking about? If they are do you think they will help us? I'm worried about my town. I can't help but wonder who else I know that died."

Kyns


The festival was lively. All about the city people were offering free food and games. Lively orchestra music could be heard through the loudspeakers placed all around the streets. Some people danced and soldiers hugged their families, The entire city of Binbig was having a joyful time, and smiles could be seen all around. Even the police force and guards were having a good time. The crowd around the docks began to disperse to enjoy the festivities, freeing Kyns and his group. He turned to everyone. "Alright, first things first is we need to get to the Town Hall and see Mayor Vilvic." Kyns said, smiling to his friends. "Then we can enjoy the festival and I can finally drop this hard assed general demeanor!! Oh my god I hate it soo much! I've had to bite my tongue just to keep from acting like a smart ass!" He exclaimed, continuing on his way to the Town Hall.


Vinn


"How could I ever forget about you Zi? I had a great time with you!" He said, turning and smiling to Zelia. "I place to stay would be great....and you waited for me? Awww, I didn't know I was that special" Vinn added, his smile turning to a smirk. Then Zelia asked him what had happened to them..."Soma and I were in a war.  We won, so it's okay. We made it out a lot better than other people....and plus we didn't really have to do that much fighting...just keeping all the grunts at bay while Kyns, Zoey, and Veda all killed Lady Blume's generals." Vinn said, reaching his tin and taking out a cigar. He bit the tip off and lit it, exhaling the smoke through his nose as usual. "I'm fine Zi, I promise." He said, looking his friend in the eyes. He turned to steer Soma, then began following Kyns down the street to the Town Hall. "We're about to meet the Mayor of the whole city." He said with a smirk, trying to liven the conversation. 


Ulfdr


Ulfdr smiled at he sound of a book store, he's never been inside one where he wasn't smashing all the bookshelves with a sledgehammer. "I think they might be. They all look very capable as warriors." Ulfdr said, as MJ grabbed him and dragged him through the crowd to the bookstore. "I wouldn't try to wonder about who's alive or not MJ...it'll help you move forward. What's happening now is justice. So let us focus on the justice."  He said, trying to cheer MJ as best he could. The two entered the book store and Ulfdr immediately went over to the sheet music shelves and began browsing, picking out a sheet of music and showing it MJ. "Will the keeper of the books require a trade?" He asked, pulling out another troll tooth and showing it to her. 
 
Zelia


Zelia looked at the ground and scratched her head as Vinn said he enjoyed her company. "Geez, I'm not that entertaining.... I'm flattered. And, you're one of my only friends out here, of course you're special to me." Zelia's eyes widen when she heard about him being in the war. "Are you hurt? Is Soma hurt? Is anyone hurt???? I can help you know! I can heal you! Let me just Elderglow and-" she looked onto Vinn's eyes and calmed down when he said he was okay. "Don't make me worry like that big guy! I don't want to lose you. You're my friend and I care about you okay?" she looked at Vinn and smiled. "Meet the mayor?!? I couldn't do that! I've done nothing to help you guys! I'll wait outside for you guys. Don't worry about me okay?" She looked up and smiled at Vinn.

MJ sighs not responding to Ulfdr as they entered the bookstore. She didn't want to think about anyone, but she couldn't help it. What is she could of helped them somehow? Probably not, but she couldn't help but think about it. When they did get help would it be to late? They could be dead for all she knew. "Will the keeper of the books require a trade?" Ulfdr said holding another troll tooth. She quickly cupped her hands around the tooth and told him to put away the tooth. She took out her bag of gold coins and counted to see what she had left. "I'll pay for the book, but once we are done we need to go trade that tooth. We could be staying here for a while and that tooth will defiantly give us enough gold for 3 or 4 weeks. DON"T USE IT OR LOOSE IT!" She takes the sheet music from him and going to pay for it.  The lady told her she could pick another one out for free. MJ thanked her and went to Ulfdr. "You can pick another one out if you want. It was buy one get another free. She said they hadn't been sealing well." She turned back to her and ask where the nearest trade shop was. "Near town hall, sweetheart. Can't miss it." She turns back to Ulfdr with a smile. "Guess we are goin back towards town hall." she says waiting for him by the door.

Veda noticed the slight change in the attitude of her companion but dismissed it, hopefully, if it was needed, the other would talk about the issue. She saw the large festival and felt a bit saddened, all the comrades to die wouldn’t be able to see the wonderful party set up or them. “We did,” the red head replied to the elf, a small smile on her face. Veda immediately nodded at the mention of attending the festival and took the offered hand with a curtsey and a laugh, “I would be honored, but if your arm is hurting this can wait!” She scolded with a motherly tone, eyeing the metal arm. Veda heard that they had to see the mayor and sighed, “Well we can wait a bit to party can’t we Zoey?” the taller looped their arms and followed behind Kyns.

Kyns


Kyns made it to the Town Hall, where a long table was set out in front of the dragon's head. Food was set out atop it, and servers were still bringing more to pile on. The mayor's daughter walked outside and her face brightened when she saw Kyns, running up to him and jumping onto his armor to embrace him. The young woman was too small to get her arms all the way around Kyns. "Hey Illusia!" Kyns said, rubbing her head and peeling her off of him. "Go ahead in you guys! My father is waiting for you in the lobby." She said with a smile, then continued walking to where she was going. Kyns entered the Town Hall, making his way to the main lobby where Vilvic stood waiting. He smiled with the arrival of his soldiers. "Brilliant job my friends. Tonight, you will be given a feast in your honor, to commemorate the great work you did in the campaign against Blume. You must have already seen the table outside...feel free to sit down together whenever you want, it's there all night. Then...i'll give you each a personal reward for all you've done." The mayor said, walking up to everyone and shaking their hands. 'Hell yeah, i'm starved!" Kyns exclaims, unlocking his suit and getting out of it. He still had his brown sleeveless hoodie and grey pants on. ""You guys want to come back her in a bit so we can explore the festival?" Kyns asks his allies. 


Vinn


"Don't be ridiculous, you were part of my inspiration to stick through with fighting. I waned to find you after it was all over..." Vinn said with a smile. Vinn dismounted Soma and helped Zelia down, then they entered the town hall together. 


Ulfdr


Ulfdr shrugged and put the tooth away. He walked back to the shelf and grabbed a second sheet of music, folding it up and putting it his bag. He kept the first one out and read it while whistling to himself. Ulfdr looked up and smiled when MJ talked about going back towards town hall to go to another trade shop. "Very well. Perhaps we could also stop in the hall and ask the chief of his progress with finding help?" Ulfdr asks, looking at MJ. Then returns to his music, trying to figure out what all the symbols meant. he looks up again. "Do you want to try and find a musician so he can show me all this? And also...is there anything YOU want to do while here? I don't know when we'll be able to have fun again once we start on the path to justice..." Ulfdr says, looking at MJ with a look of concern.
 
Zelia


Zelia was shocked to hear that Vinn wanted to see her. "You're a sweet guy, you know that? I am glad I met you." Zelia followed Vinn into the town hall and saw the huge amounts of food on top of the table. "Holy mother of magic! This is amazing! All of for you guys!?!" She smiled at Vinn and grabbed his hand to follow Kyns. "Come on! You don't want to miss the big announcement do you?" She walked in to hear Vilvic give his small speech. "Hear that? A feast in your guys' honor! How does that feel Vinn? I'll stick around here. You can enjoy the festival if you want." She said with a smile.

"Will wait a while longer before we go back? The warriors just got back so the Mayor will probably be busy with them. Besides her said he would let us know soon." she said walking out the door and towards town hall. When he aked her what she wanted to do it caught her off guard. "Well, um, I'm not really sure. I was just trying to get you set up with stuff you liked since you never got a chance to do it. Actually, I really don't know anything I liked to do here." She waves her hands. "But, don't give me that look. I don't like it. I'm fine, come on, there's the trade shop. Once we are done trading the tooth for gold we can look for a musician. There's got to be tons of them during the festival." When they walked in the small shop was empty with only a few other people looking at things that the might want to trade.

Aurora got off the ship wiping her tears away as it docked.  Everyone seemed to be in their own little world relieved to be with their friends or family.  The snow haired woman was happy for them but couldn't help but feel envious.  Instead of joining the group to the next destination,  she decides to sneak away without a word to them. She had lost Clair, Bugsy and her own brother left her behind. She had never felt so alone and empty in her life till now. She felt herself change too. She could easily snap at anyone who had no business with her.  


Aurora snuck off into the crowds and to a dark alleyway. She pants and looks back to see if anyone bothered to follow her.  To her relief they did not.  She sighs and sniffles as she walks down the alley way and sits down knowing this place was big on criminals but that didn't scare her anymore.  She sits on a barrel next to some large ropes and stares at the chip still resting in her hands.  "Oh Bugsy. I miss you so much.  I don't know what to do without you. I don't have any friends here anymore. I know I can build you back up but I just wish you were here to help me get through this." She curls up holding her knees to hide her sadness from the world.


Not a moment later did she hear something like an empty,  glass bottle tip over.  Startled,  she looks over to the direction of the sound.  "Hello? Anyone there?" She sniffles alerted by the silence.  "I'm in a bad mood so don't even try anything!" Aurora grips her weapon in her bag and starts walking toward the sound slowly listening for anything unusual until something blinds her as a sack is placed over her by some men in pirate looking uniforms.  Aurora struggles and kicks only to hear snickering from her kidnappers. "Let me go! I have friends you know?  They're going to come looking for me!" She starts. 


"Right!  I thought she said earlier that she had no friends?  So no ones coming for you sweetheart." Aurora flinches from the pain of those true words.  There was no one she can rely on. The two men laugh and rush off into the docks of the airships.

"My arm is fiiiine!" Zoey exclaimed to the other,grinning madly but, in reality her shoulder where the bolts had been riveted in hurt her a large amount but, she wasn't going to admit that in front of Veda. She sighed, a little bummed about the meeting with the mayor. "I guess." she said, still keeping a smile as Veda took her arm. They followed Kyns into the town hall. She chuckled lightly at the women who attached herself to Kyns but quickly dismissed it as they entered the mayor's chamber. She crossed her arms and listened to the Mayor speak and shaking his hand when he approached her, smiling as she did so. She nodded to Kyns and waved at him with her "new" arm before extending the other arm's hand out to Veda. "Shall we?" she asked, smiling ready to finally enjoy a good party.

Vinn smiled to Zelia. "Alright...but i'll be back for you." Vinn says, giving her a smirk and walking out the door, hearing Kyns wanted to wander about. Soma follows, and he protests, wanting the bird to stay with Zelia and keep her company. Soma reared back once they got out the door and grunted. 'What's wrong girl??" Vinn asked. Soma narrowed her eyes and her ears folded back as she sniffed the air. In an instant Soma dives under Vinn and gets him on her back, then she takes to the air, gliding back to the docks. "Soma what the hell are you..." Vinn says, stopping as he sees two men carrying a woman with a bag on her head. Vinn shakes his head, then kicks his heels into Soma, ordering her to skydive to the whole struggle. Soma obeys, and soon Vinn is right overhead the two pirates. Vinn leaps off of Soma, holding his rifle strap tight against his back and drawing his wrench from it's leather holster. He lands right next to the pirate that was holding the bag over the girl's head and he strikes him right in the face with the wrench, sending him recoiling back. Then Vinn turns and tears the bag off of the girl. "Aurora?? I thought you were right behind us!" Vinn says with wide eyes. The second pirate ran at him and Soma landed in front of Vinn, screeching and flapping her wings furiously, causing the pirate to flinch and stagger backward.

Ulfdr smiled at MJ as they walked into the store. "I'll give you any look I want, and you can't do anything to stop me!" Ulfdr said, chuckling for the first time in a while and sticking his tongue out at MJ. "Alright, let's trade the tooth.Then after we're done with the musician we'll do something for you!" Ulfdr said as they walked up to the counter. "We could find a shack that trades technology...and I also saw a man showing off some sort of metal creature..." Ulfdr said, giving ideas as to what they could do for MJ. Once they were up to the counter, Ulfdr gently took MJ's hand and placed the tooth in it. "I'll let you do the trading for 'gold'...you seem to understand it's value better than I." Ulfdr said, stepping back and taking out the flute and sheet music. He began to silently practice in the back of the store, waiting for MJ.

Luckily it was not too difficult to track down a fence in Binbig, the entire transaction had scored him one thousand gold. He could have made a lot more if had had known the fence at all, or anyone else in Binbig for that matter. He clearly got the worse end of the deal, fences are a lot less willing to bargain when it comes to strangers... Strangely a few moments after the transaction the city seemed to pick up in intensity. An assortment of things had flown through the sky, and the amount of armed men and guards covering the area had ascended. Casey had just arrived a mere day ago, so he was not quite acquainted with Binbig traditions. The heavily enforced  city had only made him more enticed to commit crime, not less so. When it had come to gold and valuable possessions, Casey's thirst was nearly insatiable.


 


There was enough gold in his pocket to last him for quite awhile if he used it sparsely. He never stayed in the same place for too long anyway. A simple inn was well-enough equipped to suit his needs, and he did not aspire for much when it had come to cuisine. Regardless of those facts, something had compelled him to collect everything that was shiny even if he may not need it. With the mask tied around his lower face again he darted out in to the even busier streets. He knew that there would be more guards around, but this was sort of silly. In his head he always imagined Binbig as a peaceful city, he could not help but wonder what had provoked them to form such an army. He wandered around the streets still looking for any promising target that he could find.


 


A pompous looking woman with a beautiful golden necklace around her neck caught his eye. The woman looked like she dressed especially nice for the festival. This little festival had made things a whole lot easier for him. The man had trailed her, waiting for the right moment to take the necklace from her neck. Shortly thereafter the woman had entered a bookstore of sorts and he of course felt compelled to follow. Only a moment after pushing open the doors something even more  promising had caught his eye. A furry fellow was holding a troll tooth within his palms, displaying it openly like a fool. Shortly thereafter a more clever woman had cusped it between her hands to conceal it. But, the woman was too slow. Casey had already saw what treasures they held and he would collect his prize. The women he was trailing previously had exited the doors of the bookstore, but he did not pay any heed to that.


The pair did not look rather wealthy. He also pondered why an elf would be so close to a kykdren. Were they partners perhaps? The Kykdren clearly did not belong, it was easy to assume that the fuzzy was a hunter. Casey kept an eye on them whilst they browsed the store whilst he did the same. He could not afford to be too conspicuous by trailing them like a fool. He looked around the store, picking up books and reading the covers, giving an occasional glance towards the pair.

Aurora pulls away and growls until she notices a familiar face just as surprised.  "Yeah well I snuck off.  I thought it would be better off.  Besides all my friends died on that ship! I was the only one mourning while all of your are busy being heroes!" She starts. Gripping on her scythe.  Her eyes were red from crying. "Then it hit me.  What this pirate said too.  I have no friends." She pushes Vinn aside with cold dark eyes that seem to slowly dye a black color. She walks past Soma and stands in front of the pirate who had fallen on the ground.  


"I have been itching to kill someone since I got here and I'd be happy to make you my first victim." The man was too scared move.  Aurora places a foot on the pirate and who struggled below her. The blade of her scythe placed on his throat.  "No that's too easy.  Let's make you suffer." Aurora moves it to his arm and slowly chops it off making the man squeal in pain.  She moves to the other arm and does the same slowly.

MJ nodded and took the tooth. It made her feel good that someone trusted her to do something. She watched as Ulfdr began to practice the flute. He looked so out of placed but MJ liked that. She walked about to one of the men at the counter but kept the took hidden. The man was very scruffy looking but she'd seen way tougher men and even women before. "Well, hello! What is a nice girl like you doing in a run down place like this." She gives him a fake giggle. "Well, I was looking for some information. I want to sale something but I'm not sure what the price of it is." The man strokes his beard. "And what is it?" She doesn't say anything for a moment letting tension feel the area. "Well, uh, don't tell anyone but... a trolls tooth." she whispers. His jaw drops as he looks around the room.


"Do you have it on you?" MJ shrugs playing with the man. "That depends... How much is it worth?" The man sighs. He reaches down and brings up two bags of gold. "This is how much is worth. I'm actually giving you extra." he says with a sly grin. MJ picks up one bag that was heavy with gold but the other one seemed light, to light. "Please don't take me fore a fool. For one that bag isn't filled with gold and secondly we know it's worth way more than that." The man let's out a loud laugh. "Your good kid, okay." He brings up another bag and adds gold to the light pouch. "Three bags. And that ring..." he says looking at her hand. "Such a pretty ring. I'll give you another bag for it." she shakes her head. "Rings not for sale, but I will take the bag. This troll tooth is worth at least five bags and I don't think an idiot like you would ever be able to get one on your own. Trolls are very vicious." He frowns. "I think I will take one bag off for your mouth. So, I suggest you take the bags and give me that ring." He lifts up his shirt a little showing off a small gun.


MJ rolls her eyes and leans forward to whisper in the man's ear. "You know Marco is a powerful man and killing one of his best agents isn't the best idea." The man looks at her in disbelief. She pulls back her cape showing of her hidden gun with the symbol of Marco's gang. The man nods quickly giving her the five bags of gold. She checks them and then puts them in her box. With a smile she pulls out the tooth and tosses it to him. "Have a nice day sir. And never forget what I said." She walks to the door a signals for Ulfdr to follow. "Well we made a good profit. Two bags for you and two for me. Then we even got an extra one for emergencies." She says with a smile.

Vinn


Vinn walked to Soma and hopped on her back. [SIZE= 14px]"Well, consider this. All of us would have happily died to help and protect you, Aurora. We all literally just fought a war together. If you don't consider us friends then that's your fault not ours, because we consider you a friend." [/SIZE][SIZE= 14px]Vinn said with a narrowed brow. [/SIZE]"And you really weren't the only one mourning, just because we aren't crying doesn't mean we aren't mourning. Well...Zoey wasn't mourning..she's too high on painkillers right now to even function. But still...I don't know what you mean by 'we were too busy being heroes'..." [SIZE= 14px]He says, then sees Aurora chop the man's arm off. [/SIZE]"Aurora! Why would you...ugh whatever...he's scum anyways..if you feel like you want to stop solving your sadness by mutilating people then come and find Soma and I at the Grandfather's Clock restaurant. I'll be there for a while." He said, a little pissed by the girl's actions. Soma hissed at the second pirate, who was nearly crapping himself at the sight of the whole spectacle. Soma flew off, kicking the man with her hind legs midair before swerving back around towards the restaurant.
 
Ulfdr


Ulfdr stopped playing the flute and smiled at MJ. [SIZE= 14px]"You keep all the bags if you want. I don't really understand what to do with the gold..." [/SIZE][SIZE= 14px]He says scratching his head. [/SIZE]"Now I think I remember you saying you wanted to go find a musician right?" Ulfdr said with smile, heading to the door. "Do you think anyone would be willing to teach me tonight? I'm sure a lot of the music players are busy..." He says, holding his flute tightly in his hands as he starts to exit the building. 


Kyns


Kyns waved back to Zoey, a pompous smirk on his face. "Don't get too into it, ladies." He says as he walks past Zoey and Veda, giving them both a thumbs up. Once out the door, Kyns let out a huge relieved sigh as he looked around. The mid-afternoon sun was still in the sky, reflecting just right off the dragon head's eyes. He walked up to it and gave it a celebratory kick. Fucking dragon..telling  me i'll never be a great warrior...I showed him didn't I... He thought to himself as he stepped back and enjoyed his trophy. After a moment, Kyns turned and started walking down the street. As he walked, many people would stop to say hello, smiling as they got the chance to talk to the City's Champion. Kyns smiled from the attention, and little by little he grew his ego back. He didn't know exactly  where he wanted to go yet, so for now he just wandered about. As he wandered, Kyns came across a trade shop. As he walked past it, a familiar wolf kykdren came out of the store, who looked at him with a furrowed brow, trying to figure out if he recognized Kyns. Kyns waved to him. "Hey! Funny seeing you again. Sorry about bumping into you earlier..." He said, smiling at the Kykdren. "You're the man in the metal armor??? But you're so much shorter!" The familiar kykdren said. Kyns frowned. "Yeah...the suit increases my height by like five feet, i'm actually 5'9..."  He says sheepishly, self-conscious about his height.

"I'll hold on to it, but it still yours to use. I'll just be your personal treasurer. As for musicians, I'm not sure will just have to ask around." As the got out one of the stopped them and apologized to Ulfdr. "Yeah your the one in the suit. It looks incredible! Who made it for you? What kind of gear does it have on it? Is it very heavy?" she blushes pulling the hood tighter on her head. "Sorry, I get excited when it comes to new technology. And don't worry about you height. I wouldn't want to date anyone that tall any way." Her eyes widen as she waves one of her hands. "That came out wrong. I didn't mean I wanted to date you or anything. Ugh just ignore me."

Aurora stood in front of the scum and decapitated her victim. Blood dripping from her blade. The head rolling off from the owner's body.  She thought about what Vinn said only making her mad. She herself had no idea what to say or what she was talking about during the argument.  She just needed to lash out but even so she still felt empty.


"War friends?" she scoffs. "Ever since I started this stupid adventure I had no one.  I don't need anyone. It's too painful to lose them anyways." She told herself.  She felt so lost never had she felt so much pain except the death of her mother and that was her fault.  She felt losing Clair and Bugsy was all her fault,  all because she was childish and naive. If anything Aurora was not trying to blame her new friends but trying to keep them away from her.  She felt like a burden.


Jazz


While Vinn and Aurora argue, a she pirate sat on the roof watching the commotion. Her eyes glowing a violet color. "Awe how cute. Two lovely couples arguing.  Oh my!  Seems they're splitting up." She snickers.  Once Soma starts taking lift off, the captain quickly takes cover by hanging off the roof and watching the two companions take off.  Once the coast is clear, Jazz climbs back up to find Aurora alone contemplating. The woman hums in interest deciding to come down and introduce herself.  As Aurora starts her sulking again,  Jazz decides to hop down from the roof with a loud thud of her boots. Aurora jumps startled and turns around holding her scythe close to her glaring at the pirate.


"What do you want?"  Aurora questions.  "To help a fellow friend." Jazz grins showing no sign of fear towards the girl.  "I don't need friends nor help!  So just leave or you'll end up like this guy except yours will be painful and cruel." Aurora held determination towards Jazz only making the captain laugh.  Jazz wipes a tear from her eye. "Oh wow you are entertaining! Trying to scare me.  How cute." Jazz continued to walk forth without hesitation only making Aurora feelt uneasy. Once Jazz got too close, Aurora growls and starts swinging her scythe around only to be halted by the captain. Her glowing eyes and alluring appearance made her intimidating.


"You know...its not polite to attack those who are trying to lend a hand.  You say you have no friends well neither does my crew.  No friends nor family. I know what you're going through. You're uncertain of things you feel empty and alone for the first time.  You don't know what to do or who to turn and you feel like you're going in circles lost in your own thoughts" Aurora pants and stares at the woman's eyes for the longest. "H-how did you know? I'm scared and confused. I don't know what to do.  I just turned my back on my friend who rescued me many times. I didn't even repay him for all those times.  All I did was turn the other way.  I can't go back and let him help me get through this.  He's done enough and I'll only be a burden and owe him more." The girl's eyes well up with tears.  She didn't deserve such a kind friend like Vinn if she was going to lose him like her friends before.


"Well then come with me.  You'll have friends and a family. I never let them down, nor leave them alone.  Not like them." Jazz pats Aurora's head to comfort her.  At this point anything was better than to mope around clueless and being pathetic. She nods and follows Jazz. She wondered what will become of herself and if it was a good idea to turn her back on her war buddies.
