Usually, threads like this would be in the Interest Checks section. You can find Interest Checks below any of the Genre/Type categories in the general RP section (for example, at the bottom of the "One on One (1x1)" section, you can see ">1x1 Interest Checks".
For Fantasy, it would be Fantasy Interest Checks. There's even a "Poll" category to put the thread into, so go take a look!
