Royal Hostage

Caroline was a split of second from running when the door was kicked back, and she was revealed to her father and uncle. She stood, staring back, then slowly began to back away.


The king quickly rose from his throne. "You will not lay a finger on my kin!" He shouted, "Guards!"

 

[Robin man]

The figure chuckled softly. "Hello dear Caroline." He said softly as he pulled off his necklace. He then reached over and grabbed her. He threw the necklace to the ground and it shattered. A black portal opened up from where the necklace shattered. The figure ran to the portal with his niece, and they went through it. The portal closed, leaving no trace of him ever being there.

Caroline had no time to react as her uncle grabbed her and pulled her through the portal, leaving no trace behind. The last thing she heard before departing were the roars of rage from her father.

 

[Robin man]

The figure chuckled softly as he looked around, seeing that he's in his liar. He then started laughing. "Success! I have my triumphed over my brother!"

Caroline quickly backed away from her uncle. "By kidnapping me? What does that prove? And where did you get that necklace? You'd need a sorcerer's aid for that!"

 

[Robin man]

The figure chuckled softly. "Oh I have my ways dear niece." He said with a wicked grin on his face. "And this is part of a bigger plot in mind."

(When are you going to bring the sorcerer in?)


Caroline crossed her arms. "What are you going to do? Ransom me? I have a feeling that my father has a bigger interest for his kingdom than his ignorant brother," she scoffed.

 

[Robin man]

The one that I mentioned?)


The figure shrugged. "Ah well, with the series of events that are coming. You'll see why I did this."

(Yeah, he's quite a big part of the story, so I was just wondering.)


Caroline narrowed her eyes. "Or, you could let me go and make this all much easier. He's going to find you, you know. And things won't end well for you."
