How Roy became famous:


Since Roy loved singing and dancing as a child, he thought that maybe he could start something. At the program where he'd audition, he successfully made it at the age of sixteen. However, he had to sign this contract that basically treated him like a slave where he'd have to work with a band for a few years and use expenses on ridiculous dancers when he could use less money on one just as good. But Roy never said a word and listened. He didn't really like the band he was with, Equinox Four. It was only the four of them: Roy, Chase, Dale, and Kent. They weren't the average band where each of them would play instruments and one was a main singer. They all sang and dance. As four years passed, the members hated each other but they were all loved. Roy was finally done with the band and ended the contract. This cost him money but he sued the company for him signing in a slave contract. This got him more attention and support. Soon, different companies and managers wanted him and he accepted to become a solo artist. He became one quicker than all of the other members from Equinox Four..Now Equinox Three. With Roy gone from the band, they are starting to break up more and want to get back at Roy for "destroying their fame" even though they still have a ton of fans. Roy has released two full albums ever since he became a solo artist and is gearing up for his third.


I am currently using him in a role-play c: His backstory remains unknown unless he is used. His backstory can also be changed too so that's why I didn't make one for him.

He seems like he could be interesting, but you would need to make sure he doesn't become a stereotype. There sre some things about his personality that seems a little cliche. I would be interested to hear his back story. I feel that would give him motivation and explanation for his character's personality and set him apart. What I got doesn't quite explain him enough. Also, the description of the events that occurred with the record companies seem a little unrealistic/extreme. But I think you have an interesting start here!

Haha, I actually wanted to be a bit cliche so I'm glad you noticed it. When I made his character, I wanted to make his situations more unrealistic and crazy. Kind of like a Korean Drama. (If you know them) So I wanted him to be the show stealer and the band breaker which makes it seem really bad and cheesy and very unrealistic. But to clear some things up, I used a slave contract (like some that are used in Korea and probably other countries and.. maybe America, not entirely sure.) so that's why he hated it, that could've been one of the things that seemed unrealistic. But I think the realistic thing of the whole how he became famous was him being the favorite member in the band in all. Sure the other guys could've been loved but in all, he was the favorite. So the fans heart were ripped out when he left. But of course, they followed him as a solo artist. Maybe this clears up a little bit. I did try and wanted it to be unrealistic though

That makes so much sense! I know a little about Korean dramas and how the music industry works there. Very strange to me since I am so used to the American way, but they do seem like slaves in Kpop and Krock groups. Pretty Cool and good job going for what you were wanting to accomplish!
