We will be arriving in Las Angela's California in about 10 minutes, thank you for flying American Airline. The speaker came to life for a short moment, as the pilot spoke for a moment, but just that, just as it came on, it went dead, and the plane went back to its noisy self. People talking, laughing, children crying, screaming. All this was driving Izabella absolutely crazy.

She clutched her teeth together as she leaned back into the seat, her headphones on, but not to loud, she didn't want to disturb the elder woman who sat beside her, who was chatting with someone across from her. Her music wasn't drowning everyone out, because how low it was. So, she had a headache, on top of already being irritated, and pissed off.

Izabella wasn't looking forward to living with her brother, who was all the way on the other side of the states, away from her friends. She glared out the window, staring at the blue sky, and clouds. Looking down, she could finally see the city, her new home, her new life. God she hated this. Slamming the shade to the window shut, she pulled her backpack close to her, and closed her eyes, waiting to land. She was going to live with her brother, who she hasn't seen in years.

Izabella was 17, which meant she only needed to deal with her brother for a year. It was going to be hell, she hated him, he left her, with there parents, who put all the pressure on her, after he left, that she needed to study more, and all that. Not to mention, they didn't really support her art. She was bulled a lot when they were kids, and he always stuck up for her, and than he vanished, she hated him for that, leaving her alone!

Stepping off the plane, the heat hit her. It was a dry heat, no humid like New York. Taking in a breath, she walked through the airport. Brown and Blond hair falling down her back, swaying a bit as she walked. Her grey eyes glancing around, trying to figure out where she needed to go to pick up her luggage. Cursing under her breath, she adjusted her backpack on her back, and walked around a bit more.

Finally finding where the luggage rack was, she looked around, looking for her pink, leopard printed bags, there was 6 of them. She had a lot of stuff. Pulling it all off the rack as it went around and around, she groaned. Ugh, Izzy why do you have so much shit? She thought to herself as she looked around for a luggage cart. Blond bangs falling into her face. Pushing them out of her face. She walked over and grabbed a cart. Piling her bags onto the cart, she took a breath, running black nails through her hair, she pushed the cart to a bench, where she sat there, pulling out her iPhone, her fingers tapping on the screen she texted him.

Well, I'm here, sadly.

Sending the message, she pushed her phone back into her pocket, and crossed her arms, cry eyes scanning around, looking for her brother, would he even show up? Crossing her legs on the bench, she once more pulled out her phone, texting back her friends who texted her while she was on the plane, she wouldn't see them for a very, very long time. Maybe, never again? Biting her lip, her teeth hitting a hop that went through the right side of her lip, her lip ring, her parents always hated the thing.

Chase chuckled as he smoked a cigarette, leaning against the back of the couch. He was laughing at the joke that his best buddy Andrew had said. He took another hit from the cigarette and left the smoke filled room to throw away yet another empty pack. He sighed and took a look at the clock on the wall. Eh, he still had time. Andrew walked in, pulling out a can of beer.

At the age of 18, Andrew wasn't old enough to drink but he didn't show any signs of caring. He threw a careless grin in Chase's direction and went back into the living room. Chase looked at him, bored. "Hey, what do you say about going with me to pick up Izabella from the airport? I don't want to go alone, she might murder me." Andrew smiled and shrugged. "Sure, I have nothing better to do. We better make this fast because I'm meeting up with Brittney tonight and I am not missing out on that gorgeous, fresh body." They both cracked up laughing and later fell asleep.

Chase woke up to an alarm and immediately jumped up, punching Andrew in the arm. "Shit, dude! What the hell was that for?" Andrew said, in alarm. "We're late," Chase said gruffly. He checked his phone, seeing a text from his sister.

Whatever, He thought. He didn't bother waiting for Andrew, he knew that if he really wanted to go, he would've gotten up immediately. Surprisingly though, as soon as he got into the car and started back it out, Andrew ran out of the house. He jumped into the passenger seat and grinned. "I didn't want you to be murdered." He said simply.

Chase laughed and drove to the airport, going over the speed limit. It was the city so no one really cared that much. They were all speeding anyways. They pulled into the parking garage and got out. Chase yawned and grabbed his jacket, putting it on as they entered. He was kind of nervous about seeing his sister but he seemed to always be anxious about something so it didn't alarm Andrew-- or him for that matter.

When he walked to the baggage claim, where he expected her to be still, he met her eyes. He waved knowing he wasn't going to get the best response in the world. Andrew seemed to be occupied by his phone, not paying attention to anything else. He's probably texting 'hot buns', he thought with an amused smile on his face.

Izabella sat there, her grey eyes glancing around the airport, people walking, families greeting each others with hugs, and smiles. Something that she wouldn't be greeted with. She took a breath, she wasn't looking forward to seeing him, or living with him, nor his friend. Pulling the hood to her thing jacket over her head. blond hair with brown streaks falling out from underneath it.

Scanning the airport once more, her eyes fell on her brother. She glared at him, and next to him was his friend, with his nose in his phone. Rolling her eyes, she shoved her phone in her jacket pocket. Grabbing the luggage cart, she pushes it over to him, looking up at him, she sighed. I should have figured you would be late She muttered, looking at his friend, than back to him. Lets just go, I would like to get this miserable year over with. She muttered the end part, her eyes looking around once more, pulling out her phone once more, to check the time.

(;-; Sorry it is so short. I have so bad writers block!)

Chase lightly smacked Andrew's arm to get his attention. He looked up from his phone, looking bored. Chase didn't care. He had to be present to literally be present. He walked up to his sister and put one arm around her. "It's not about me being late. It's the fact that I came, sweet sister." He grinned, knowing she'd be irritated by him. He brought her closer to his chest for a very constricting hug. He let go of her as soon as he felt her tense up. He was only doing it to annoy her, she probably knew that. He looked from his sister to Andrew and pointed to both. "Izabella, that's Andrew. Vice versa, now let's go people."

Andrew's eyes lingered on Izabella for a second longer than he should have but he awkwardly stuck out his hand to shake and when he didn't even get a change of expression in return, he walked away with Chase who was pulling the cart. They loaded all of the bags in the trunk and without a word, voted Izabella for backseat. They reeked of cigarette smoke but of course they couldn't tell.

Andrew leaned on the headrest and yawned, wanting to go back to sleep. "Dude, drop me off at Brittney's apartment. We're right by it." he said. Chase slowed the car to a stop and winked, "Good luck, man." He nodded and slammed the door, making a rude gesture about 'getting some' as he walked away.

Chase leaned over and stared at Izabella. "I don't think you'd like what we have back home so if you're hungry, speak now or forever hold your peace."

Izabella looked over at the arm around her, she glared at it, than looked back up at her brother, almost around just to smack him. I would have liked you to be on time though, but that would be asking to much, right? She hissed at him, about ready to turn her back to him, she was pulled into a hug, well, it was, awkward, she tensed up. clutching her teeth, she put her hands on his stomach, about to push him away, but he pulled away before she could react.

Grey eyes following her brothers fingers back to his friend, glaring at him, she nodded, and turned to follow her brother, ignoring the hand, his friend extended. She had no intentions of getting to know him, at all. When they got to there car, she look at it, being voted in the back seat was fine with her, she could be farther away from them.

Getting in the car, she snugged herself up into the door, her eyes glancing out the window. Ignoring there conversation, she rolled her eyes, they were gross, and the car smelt horrible. Watching the male get out of the car, she glared at him. Oh, he was filthy, he was going to try and get some. Shaking her head, her eyes drifting back out the window. Izzy looked back to her brother moments later. Sure, surprise me somewhere.

Chase knew that Izabella was going to have to take her own time to get used to their lifestyle. That's why he left. It was stressful back at home. Everything had a rule and everything was a compromise-- on their parent's part. He grimaced, looking at the rear view mirror to glance at her. "Hey lighten up a bit okay?" He didn't need to be around someone so uptight at the time. He had no patience for that. Just the thought made him tense up.

His grey eyes met hers. His were a bit darker than hers but no one could ever tell the difference besides them, growing up. His lip twitched, as close to a smile he would get to thinking about "special memories." He began to drive and looked at all of the fast food places they passed. "If you see any place you like--" He didn't have to let her choose. He knew that for old times sake, they had to go to Burger King. When they were younger they would always go just to see who would get the better toy. They'd always get the exact same meal as each other. At first they were annoyed that they liked the same thing but it turned into something only they shared.

He pulled up to the fast food restaurant and waited for Izabella to get out before entering. He walked up to the front, staring at the menu. He saw exactly what they used to get but didn't order yet. He wanted so see what she would choose. He waited for her to make a decision.
