Advice/Help Romantic Fantasy

I'm trying this out and I need some advice on any changes I should have done.

A girl accidentally meets a boy who seems annoying at first. The girl tries to see the good in him but he is so annoying that they start out not liking each other and always trying to offend one another. One day they both get taken by the same person and a few other kids their age too. What happens when they have to escape together? Work together? Go through more together than any one person could ever imagine? What kind of a bond will they create, and will they make it out alive with the other kids. The people however are quite different than normal in a fantasy type way, so that makes them hard to run from and even harder to defeat.

I'm a writer so this does look almost like the back of a book, but I need help to make this idea even better.
Also I need advice on characters so if you have any could you PM me? That would be great!

Boy. Maybe 14,more serious then joyful, tall for his age. He is focused more on training and his skills. Lost his parents at a young age and lives with his old grandfather who is blind. He has a horse and a dog he got from his parents

Girl. 11. Tries to see the good in everyone. Loves having a good time and hates being still. Lost her mother but has her father. Has a dog named coca.

I was thinking the kidnapper knows them on a personal level. Someone they all know well, and trust. So at first they fallow willingly until they notice something is wrong.

Maybe their trainer or their doc. When the children start to dobt fallowing he easily smooths things over with them. But when they know something is wrong it's far too late and the kidnapper has them far away from any help.

The little girl insists her father will be there soon and at first refuses to help but after a day or two she realizes no one is going to help them. So she bands together with the little boy to come up with a plan to escape!
