Other Roleplay Question: What is everyone's favourite platform outside of forums to write with and why?

From 2015 to last year, I was a Tumblr girly, but I don't think I'll go back to that. The culture is just so mean and anxiety-inducing. Now I write on Discord and I'm liking it well so far.

For roleplaying, I think using discord is a very mainstream app to use considering its convenience, forums being a good place to find like-minded people, and games being good for a quick pick-up!

For writing, whether it be responses to RPs or just in general, I feel like google docs is an application that's always my to-go. Being able to edit your works offline and have it sync on all your devices is the main factor that makes it attractable. Otherwise I think Word or Obsidian would be my second choice to use for writing.
