I know some of you have watched or read this series before, and I was planning to do a roleplay off of it.


I don't want to start unless I can get at least two teams together.


Each team must have at least three members, a team name, and an emblem.


if enough people show interest, I'll get this thing off the ground.


(if you need help with an emblem, I can help, with my somewhat lousy paint skills)

Well, I've read some of the manga, not completely so I'd probably be a newbie character at Air gear, but I'm game for rping it xD Dunno who's team I'd be on. O.o whoever wants me I guess~
 
Well I'll start off with a team of NPC's and they'll kick me out then Ill join Hanako's team to get back at those mutineers xD ^^


The Team I'm originally from are "The Nights Rollers" (Pathetic yes) their emblem is a moon and a red roller blade wheel both in a box with 5 members including me (The other 4 NPC's as pre-mentioned)


Right after they kick me out I go to the rival gang which is Hanako's ^^
 
yeah ive watched the manga thanks to your recommendation ages ago haha, hard to remember the details of it but sounds good


just one thing though, how will it work? ie. the course lay out, will you create like 5 different tracks one for like each team, playable and npc...


or use different things like a battle, capture the flag, race too the top etc...
 
well... depending on the class of the teams, and who makes the challenges, different challenges are placed (for Parts War)


all the same rules apply as explained in the manga (which I can dig up if so needed)


Teams start in the bottom, and work up, npc teams can also be substituted for battles...
 
ah this could turn out real good if you put some time into it =) creating a league table, parts owned / lost table etc...


cant say i have read the manga but im guessing its the same as the anime.


each person get to create there own special move? haha


but if u need any help give us a shout, team 4 ftw
 
the manga takes the anime and squishes it like a bug... heck, the antagonists were never even shown to be bad in the anime...


Bucha creeps me up in the latest chapters...


his "Pump-up Body" ability can now be directed entirely at his legs, and he looks freaky...

Here's the basic rules (Copy-Paste FTW!)


F - Dash


Movement taught - "Run". Dash is a simple race to a finish line; the person to get there first wins the battle. Dash matches are carried out in a series of one-on-one races, meaning even 2 opposing Storm Riders could engage in a function Dash match (as seen in the battle between Ikki and Ringo).


E - Hurdle


Movement taught - "Avoid Obstacles". Hurdle incorporates the same concepts present in F-Class Dash matches, meaning one simply has to reach the finish line to win. However, to make things more difficult, large obstacles such as buildings or wide gaps are added to require more skilled AT usage.


D - Cube


Movement taught - "Manage to Use Wall Surfaces". The focus in the majority of Cube matches is one-on-one combat within an enclosed space. However, some battlefields may allow for larger scale combat, as seen during Kogarasumaru's match against Behemoth.


C - Air


Movement taught - "Jump". Air consists of ten platforms, each with a specific number. After a certain amount of time set at the start of the battle, these platforms are successively knocked down in random order. This means that riders must fight against the other team in order to gain solid footing. The last team standing wins the match. Two arenas for Air battles have been seen: the Animal House battle used a "Chupa Chups" arena, in which the platforms were themed after different types of candy. Against Sleipnir, jet airplanes were used, greatly adding to the difficulty and danger of the match.


Advanced Classes


A team needs to win against B-Class to Special A-Class to enter the Advanced Class.


B - Disk


Disk has two different decisive factors. The first is limit to attack. The person with the disk is called the 'disk keeper', and can attack anyone at will. The others cannot attack anyone else besides the disk keeper. If anyone breaks this rule, a penalty point is given to the other team. The second most important factor in this class is teamwork. If a team does not co-operate, they definitely will not win.


A - Balloon


The highest ranked, and hardest, battle system utilizing the 6 layers between A and F. Whoever takes the balloon with the emblem wins. The rules may look simple, but the difficulty is extremely high. Balloon is a team game usually carried out in 5-to-5 teams (although 6-to-6 has also been seen), where each team is separated into positions:


* Panther - chases the balloon, and is the only member of the team who is allowed to touch it. If any other rider touches the balloon, the team will be disqualified.


* Decoy - lures enemies away, pretending to be the Panther.


* Ultimate - battles the other team.


* Middle - assists the 3 people in front.


* Keeper - stops the enemies attacks.
 
D'ah, I've only read the first three volumes and watched the first episode... but making my own moves sounds like super fun!


And with my team of Jamie and Ran-chan, we will rule the skies HAHAHAHAHAHA 8D


I'm thinking of team names... Sky Pirates appeals to me atm. But there's also... Sinking Ship, Sea Kings, Blazing Cannons, and a load of other retarded pirate-themed names that leak from my unimaginative mind. :P
