"I got something that I should have told you..... well... a few days ago." Miki said, trying to breathe right. She thought for a second on how to word what she was going to say.

Ryozo was giving his full attention to her, ''Well, im all yours now.. You can tell me anything.'' he said reassuring her with a smile

"I... ugh.. how to say this.... I have a.. difficult past that I haven't told anyone. Ever." Miki stressed. This was so hard for her.

He looked at her straight in the eyes, he didn't want to rush her. He's been curious about it, wanting to know more about her but she needed to go at her own pace. Only her would know when the time was best. He was all ears now, his mouth zipped he wouldn't make a beep until she finished.

"Well, like most people, I grew up with my mother and father. Now my mother and father always got along, or so I thought. My father was secretly beating my mother every day for no reason." Miki paused, taking in a large breath and forcing back the tears. "I didn't realize until I had woken up with a bad dream. I went down to the basement where my dad usually was. What I saw was my mother tied to the wall in chains, dead." Miki said, starting to cry. She started wiping her eyes, but the tears wouldn't stop. She started bawling.

Ryozo had no Idea how to react to that, it was un humanly from her father's part to do such things. He actually had watery eyes (being tired, he was more sensitive) , he placed his hands on of Miki's cheek wiping away the tears with his thumbs. Right now, she didn't does simple my condolences. He placed his forehead on hers and eventually kissed it before hugging her tightly. ''No words can describe what you lived, '' he said pausing ''no one deserved to live that..''

Miki continued sobbing, unable to control her tears. When the tears lightened up a bit, she began to speak again. "He saw me standing there. He did the exact same thing to me. For years. Eventually he was caught and I began to live with my aunt, but I could never get over it. My aunt's never here. I'm always alone...." Miki said, beginning to sob again.

His heart tightened at every words she said, just what was wrong with them? He never once released the hug, he blurted the first thing in his head as if it was the most natural thing. '' I'll always be there for you, always'' Ryozo said, it was the truth he would and he will.

Miki continued to cry, holding onto his t-shirt. She never wanted to let go. She cried, but for once, she was not alone.

It must have been really hard for her to tell him all of this. Miki was holding him tightly and he understood why. She was continuously sobbing, How have she been keeping this bottled up? he thought to himself. She must of really trusted him to tell him such a dark secret. He stayed with her the whole time eventually he drifted into sleep after such an exhausting day but he didn't let her go and would do such.

(okkk omg this is so cute!, anyway got to go sleep! Nighty nighT!! :) )

Miki continued to cry until she fell asleep in his warm arms.
Unfortunately, her sleep was all but peaceful. Because of her re telling her memories, her nightmares had re awakened. Miki clenched her muscles as the nightmare began. She was chained to the wall again, back in her old home. She looked around and saw her father by the fire place, holding a hot iron rod. She hated this dream. It was her most vivid and the worst nightmare, mostly because it actually happened. He walked closet to her, still carrying the rod. He finally stopped in front of her, and placed the tip of the rod on the center of her back. She screamed in agony as the smell of burning flesh rose into the air. He released the rod and dunked it in water. He then began to hit her already smoldering skin with a whip, making long jagged marks across her back. Miki rolled closer to Ryozo, still clenching his shirt. She started muttering words in her sleep, her face contorted with pain. She was having a horrible nightmare.

Kira felt at peace. Her warmth was more than enough to make him relax and forget about his own problems. For now, he wanted to be there for her and to heal her from these nightmares. That night, he didn't dream of that dark hole, for the first time in months he dreamt of a happy place..with Miki. He pulled her closer and buried his head to the crook of her neck inhaling her wonderful smell.

Miki felt soft hair float onto her neck. Her nightmares dissipated and she relaxed a bit, absorbing into the warmth of another body.

Ryozo woke up because of his phone vibrating in his pocket, Miki was still in his arm. He reached out for the phone and answered '' Hello..'' he whispered with a hoarse voice. He didn't want to wake up Miki now that she felt less tense. ''Ryozo. Can you explain me why on heaven heart you aren't home for the past two days.''. It was his mother, how did she know he wasn't there? Wasn't she at work at this time? She barely was home for her to notice his absence. He stood up from the sofa and started talking to her over the phone. She was shouting again, Ryozo just listened. If he replied she would started screaming louder and probably the whole condo would hear her. '' It is the last time boy, and you are grounded.Come immediately home.'' Immediately after she hanged up. He honestly didn't want to go. He looked at Miki and tucked one her hair behind her ears.

Miki fidgeted a bit and searched for the warmth. When she reached out and found it not there, she started stirring. She felt someone touch her ear and she opened her eyes. She sat up to see Ryozo in front of her. "Ryozo... ug...what's up?" Miki asked, still rubbing her eyes.

(First post on my new laptop!)

Surprised that she woke up with a single touch, ''Nothing really...My mom called and wants me to get home now. I don't know why.'' It wasn't a lie, he wasn't sure why she chose to give her motherly advice now. She was never there and barely noticed him, so why now.

He wasn't to sure, he honestly didn't feel like seeing her. ''I want to but..She'll get my head for it but..sleeps looks more..'' he was debating internally, he wants to sleep ,especially next to this gorgeous blonde next to him but his mother would literally behead him later on. Miki was pretty close to completely convince him.

He was more then sure he was convinced now, he would stay but he liked how she was insisting. ''Humm, you're going to have to more than that to convince me to stay, knowing that my mom will literally kill me later on for disobeying.'' he said winking at Miki

Miki flushed. She didn't want to have to go there, but he had called for her A game, and she was about to deliver. She stood and walked over to him and pressed herself against him. She stood up to his ear and whispered, "Please Ryozo~" In her sweetest voice.

''Convinced.'' He said immediately as he turned red. The hot steam of air came in contact on his ear just made him shiver, just that simple move made him all bubbly and gave him butterflies in the stomach. He laid back at the sofo pulling Miki from the waist over him. She was now on top of him and his hand were wrapped around her.

Miki smiled in comfort. She had won. She had an inwardly victory before snuggling back into his chest.

(Night!)

"Hey nii-Chan? You don't need this, do you?"

Mankato grumbled and rolled over in bed, standing by his door was Aida.

She smirked at him while holding up his phone.

Mankato grumbled in bed, then nodded.

Aida gave a superior smirk before running off, probably to break it... like that horde of other phones she's destroyed. Every single one of them belonged to him.

Manako turned to look at his clock, his sister had woken him up two hours early.

He slowly got up, he could practically feel the bags on his eyes weighing him down.

That was okay, they made him look like a stoner.

He got up and brushed his teeth, still white and pearly as always. The smarter kids at his school knew for a fact that Manako didn't really smoke, as it's nearly impossible to have such healthy teeth if he actually did smoke as muchamuch as he was rumored to. This, however, did nothing to dispel the rumors of him being a front for some cartel or something.

He made his own breakfast since most of his family was still sleeping. Manako is a decent cook, he wasn't an international cook show host but he knew how to make simple meal without burning it.

He sat at the dining table downstairs and ate slowly, he was in no rush.

When he was done, he showered before lounging on the downstairs sofa for a bit.

After some time Manako got up, went upstairs, and checked his school bag a couple times.

Afterwards, he dressed up for school. He sat there checking his appearance a couple times before loud rock and roll music started playing downstairs.

Manako sighed, he'd hoped his mother would've slept in.

He decided to get to the station early, anything was better than here.

Manako made his way back downstairs.

Right when he got to the last step, Manako saw the suited figure of his Dad hastily exit the front door.

Manako quickly moved to follow suit when the slightly inebriated voice of his mother called out.

"Mana! Come in here for a sec."

Manako cursed his father for being such a talented escape artist, and made his way back to the dining table.

His mom leaned back in a chair, liquor in one hand, mirror in the other.

At another table was Aida, talking to one of her friends using Manako's phone.

"Hey kiddo," Manako's mother greeted as she admired herself in the mirror " You going out to meet a girl?"

"Nah," Manako said nonchalantly "just to school."

Manako's mother tisked "Darling, when do you plan on getting me some grandkids?"

"Mom, we've talked about this." Manako said with a sigh "I'm to young to be thinking of marriage, and you're too young to be thinking of being a grandmother."

"Yes, I AM young" she said as she returned her gaze to the mirror "Just too young and beautiful for this world!"

Thankful for her getting caught up in herself, Manako beat a hasty retreat out the door.

Closing it behind him, Manako sighed before initiating longer mode.

With the most arrogant posture he could manage, Manako slung his bag over his shoulder and started walking towards the train station.

It was morning, and as usual Ryozo woke up first. He was still on the sofa with Miki sleeping deeply. He looked at his cellphone, it was around 7:30 and school started at 9:00. He didn't want to go, especially since it was friday but he already missed a few days lazing around and he didn't want to be too far behind. He then stared at Miki and poked her cheek. ''Wake Up beautiful..Come on, waaaaake up..'' he whispered tenderly still poking on her cheek. She was actually snoring, but a very soft kind of snore. I wouldn't mind waking up like this more often!
