Roger's Academy for the Unknown [RP]

Neru was still asleep, so he didn't notice Senri. He also didn't notice the wall in front of him. He hit the wall with a thud and fell backwards to the ground, soon waking himself up. "Oww... There isn't supposed to be real pain in the dreams..." He said as he looked in front of him and saw the wall. "...I've been sleepwalking again, haven't I." Neru got back on his feet and looked around him, trying to figure out where his aimless walking took him. He noticed the front door and Senri. "You just saw me run into that wall, didn't you." He said, obviously embarrassed.

*The moment Senri saw the three tails, it had tensed up from the sudden collision of the wall and the boy. Gliding it's eyes up, Senri found the three tailed boy turned toward it with a reddend face. It's mouth moved and Senri found itself read his lips. Flickering it's eyes up to the boys, it found itself staring at its bluish color around the darkend pupil. It had been so long since it saw someone's eyes since 3 years. Not answering until a half a minute later, Senri shut the door and stand its natural stance. Raising it's shoulders as it stood slightly talker and moving its strands from its face he looked at the boy expression as it spoke calmly disreguarding it's expression toward Senri. *"Yes. I hope you pay more attention in the hallways or next time you will hit someone else."*Senri's expression alone looked like it was almost irritated by the boy but merely it was only in deep thought because of its fixated mind on the boys eyes.*

"Well it's not my fault. I have the ability to travel to a realm of my creation when I sleep. I also have the ability to fall asleep or wake up whenever I want to, but that still doesn't prevent me from sleepwalking." He said as he put his hand on his forehead to ease the pain a bit. "At least I only sleepwalk and not something worse like randomly throwing fox-fire in my sleep."

*Only paying attention to the boys eyes, Senri found itself missing more than half of what the boy was speaking to it. Directing its eyes to the boys lips, Senri found himself confused from the boys comment. Weighing its options Senri decided to pull back, turning away from the boy. Senri spoke as it moved slowly after uttering two words.*"I see." Walking in the opposite direction from the boy, Senri found itself almost wishing it didn't leave itself open to the boy to talk too. Stopping and then looking back at the boy, Senri dropped its sight to the marble ground looked back forward again. It's mind kept going back to those eyes but Senri pushed itself from the thoughts, as if it was going to cause it pain.*

Neru decided to let Senri go and walked to a corner. He then sat down on the floor and leaned back against the wall as we traveled back to his realm, hoping that he wouldn't sleep walk too much. This time he decided to wipe his realm clean and start something from scratch. He created a vast landscape along with a decent-sized village. He formed a wall of large mountains a distance away from the village. There he created a cave in which he would create trials and puzzles for some other people to solve, just in case. His fox ear twitched as he brainstormed some ideas in his sleep.

The temperature dropped within the main entrance, chill setting in to the point of teeth chattering degree. Where the doors lay closed, a small sheet of dripping frost began to envelop the minsicule crack where the wooden surfaces parted, a crickle and crack like that of hardening ice beginning to sound out before the frosty seal broke upon the floor with the sound nearly symphonic; tinkling glass-like surfaces falling upon the floor. In its wake stood a singular form, locks as white as winter cascading down along slim shoulders towards the small of the figure's back. Icy blue eyes stared forward without any betrayal of emotion, hands finishing the clasping of a endowed jewel choker around the neck, releasing with a slow dip of her fingers.

With every step forward a footprint of frost followed with her, dissolving into chilly water as she took the next step. Her movements were slow and careful, deliberate and dignified, hands clasped at her lap as she turned her head carefully from side to side, no sound betraying her, no breath leaving her, only a silent, glassy stare. This was the place she'd be for now to hone her ability, she had no further interests aside from that...nothing further she'd divulge to anyone. She never understood her secrets but, from studying former human encounters, secrets were meant to be kept.

*Each step moved with a direction, not controlled by the mind but by muscle memory. Each step felt familiar as though living here for 4 years was enough to make it familiar to It. Memories flooded Senri's head, the beginning, the time where it didn't want to control it. It was too much for Senri to even handle at the age and already warped into its own space. Senri thought it had the choice to stay within its bounds and limitations. Never wanting to progress with its power however forced by teachers which it hold no love for. Senri would love to just--Vibrations invaded Senri's body resonating with it, eyes immediately turned and catching a blurred image for a moment. Standing with It's torso toward the image, Senri's eyes began to clear and grasp every detail of the image. It was a girl, with a chilling presence surrounding Senri's body it took immediate response and tightened every muscle. It's eyes grew tight and stale cold matching the feeling around it. Not speaking, it waited for the girl to understand her presence was disturbing to it and toward others. Watching at the same time some of the other 1st and 2nd years around whispering to each other. However Senri kept its eyes on the girl, not wanting to lose any trace of her.

Her steps halted upon not the shimmer of air beside her but, the crickling crack of her icy footprints behind her. If frustration were something she could appropriately convey, it would have shown upon the beautifully crafted features. Yet instead, Cold made an effort within herself to stifle the wintry chill following her, diminishing it to a faint, chilled breeze that surrounded just inside of her personal space. Taking such time, Cold failed to either notice or care about the mumblings humming through the air, only beginning to focus back outwards as she felt the sneaking suspicion of approach. With a turn of her head, icy blue gaze stared outwards towards the general area of effect. No emotions displayed upon her face, yet at the same time there was; an almost near interest if possible, perhaps her attention being the display of such emotion.

"Their voices ring clear.

All of your interests out.

Attentions captured."

Diligent, slender fingers ran over the white strands wafting over her shoulder, folding it beneath her ear as her eyes slowly closed and slowly opened. As if disregarding having said anything, Cold made her way towards the hallway that had originally been her endeavor; finding her room.

"Now finding is hard.

Hidden; Destination is.

To seek is a test."

For a moment, Zed faltered. He could see her... that women, or rather, that siren. But, she was no longer a siren. She had become a spirit, and from the looks of it, a poltergeist. However, it would not do to seem weak in front of the rest of his to-be colleagues. Zed noticed Carmen incline her head, an acknowledgement that it truly was her and that she was the only one who noticed the recognition. He decided not to dwell on the past. After all, beings created at the beginning of time quickly learn that holding onto the past is almost impossible.

Smoothly resuming his boisterous facade, Zed removed his fedora and said, "Ah, yes. It is a pleasure to see you again, Carmen. It has been a while, has it not? As for the job, I accept." With a grin, he offered, "In relation to the school opening, I am sure that I can be helpful. After all, I do have certain talents that no one else can reasonably claim to have." Zed sat down with a grandiose flourish, leaned back, and placed his fedora over his face as if he were sleeping. After a moment, he gestured, still under the fedora, for the meeting to continue. "I assure you, I am paying the utmost attention to this conversation. The trip here was simply terribly exhausting and there were a few errands that had to be dealt with." He said this with more than a little sarcasm, hoping to create a rift between the others and himself. However, he did hope Carmen saw through the facade. She was the only one who accepted him, so he decided to accept her. Thinking to himself, Zed said, "She is the first in a long time... perhaps the last."

*Commotions died as the girl spoke, faces contorted in a unflattering gesture watched as she finished. Only registering half they got, they started their endless lip chapping. As for Senri, it found itself intrigued by the girl who spoke in such language. Almost as if the language that was heard more than a million times was only recently obscure. A wave of haze blocked Senri's frontal lobe, making its impulses much more active than usual. And the only thing that occupied its mind was the girl. Easily disappearing from sight, Senri tore space and time in front of the girls pathway and stood directly in front of her. It's body hang up right as it stood much taller than the girl. Arms laid perfectly to their sides and everything else was placed directly like a still doll. The expression displayed was nothing but a common and repeated on that fit perfectly on its face. Glazed. It's eyes watched hers and waited for the girl to move her lips once more.*

Her own footsteps, repition. They were something of a methodical gait instead of a normal, natural movement; timed in its own essence and unnatural, its methods seemed to bear. Brisk and methodical, her steps carried her down the hallway, seeking and wishing to find to lay to rest the second task upon her agenda. First was to enter the school, second to find housing, third to begin this school, and fourth to leave it unmatched in her ability. All of those in that order but, the chances of her having side-quests were quite likely, though she'd never tell. What was bad about this detestable quality of meticulation from her was the way that it did little to synchronize with the real world. To go about something unhindered and without challenge was not to live in the real world at all. Hence, why as she found her path blocked, Cold found the first hindrance to her list and found her first sidetracked mission.

An empty gaze looked upwards and upwards until it could meet the area where she assumed the being's own gaze lay, her contact unwavering but lacking any form of emotional display. Instead, she calmly opened her mouth, words drifting out as methodical and unnatural as her walk.

"You are in my way.

Your hindrance goes unwanted.

Kindly move yourself."

*Finally the girl looked up at Senri, her expression calm and almost cold toward it, Senri smiled. The smile was almost counteracting of the rest of its expression. Breathing slowly for a moment then opening its mouth, Senri started it's words quietly and carefully toward the girl.*"I mean no harm however I must say you have harmed."*Drawing its eyes toward the shattered door that kept the light from coming in so bright lightly now cascading such sun that waltzed right inside.*"For your safety and others I shall reporting your destruction you have caused. I also take note that you have no control of your power? If you do, please heed my warning for you may cause the innocent ones injury."*Eyes squeezed tight as its voice dropped at the last word. It was deeply influenced by the girls words and actions that anything that could give it power to talk to her it would. However something about that influence was extremely daunting to it, giving it much chills from the girl.*

Not once did her face so much as flinch in the sign of remorse, or irritation, or anger. She simply watched. The shimmering pink of her lips motionless, and her eyes not so much as blinking. Instead, she opened her mouth at the end of his words with a small exhale of a frosty breath that permeated the air in a silent, soft chill; much like a refreshing fall morning after a deep, searing summer.

"Little, do I care.

Now. As I said before, move.

I have things to do."

The depth to her abilities had little to do with this stranger, and the effect she had upon the others had little to do to her cares. Cold was as her name stated, very cold. It was all she knew to be, if knowing were something she truly knew capable. Sometimes for hours Cold could ponder her existence. Her humanity was invalid, for she was no human but, she still possessed freedom of talk, freedom of movement, bound by no strings to what should have been her inanimate limbs. How was she this way? Was she not a doll? A child's plaything? If she held emotion, she might have smirked at the thought. Yes, she was a child's plaything, easy to use and easy to leave behind and forget, just as her creator had done. Or so she assumed. Hence her need to hurry through her steps, and hence her lack of care for anything around her. She simply didn't hold the personal interest upon anything but her goals.

*The edges of Senri's body had reacted to her cold bitterness and it was something that Senri definitely did not welcome. Moving slightly to get its blood moving smoothly again, Senri breathed in such depth that it almost convinced itself that it huffed because of its own fear of the girl. Eyebrows tugged together and eyes which was light blue was becaming deathly blue, knowing that because of the change it meant that it was getting ever more upset.*" Girl, I do not care for your feelings if it jepordizes innocent people, including me. I am not asking you but telling you to watch your powers. If you continue to ignore my heed I shall use force to get you to listen. I will remove myself on the condition you will not use your powers in such a manner. Do you understand me? I do not care if I am your age or younger, I am asking as anyone who would not want destruction or conflict."*Senri jaw tightened as it finished, it was only getting angry as the girls cold eyes kept watching it in a unchanging manner. Its fingers fiddled with each other, only to counting to the moment of the girls reaction toward it.

"Common interest.

I care not for your feelings.

I will be going."

In one ear, out the other, the cold and methodical female form simply slid to the side with a small breeze of chill in the wake of her movement. Despite the obvious appearance of the cold, there were no further dramatics from her as to when she'd entered with her less than elegant entrance. In her shift, the boundless white locks of her hair fluttered about in the wintry air. Her presence was much like winter, cold but mesmerizing. A force to be reckoned with if in the wrong situation, and much like winter it didn't care upon the wishes of others it simply was and would be what it existed as. Back to her list, as far as she was concerned, for this side mission seemed less of a concern to her. Nothing captured her interests anymore, nothing that she knew of that could assist her. Like her existence, troubled and straightforward, she would continue until she found her answers.

*The girls' lips parted again however it was wasteful body functions. The words of sound came fluttering out but Senri could not hear this, thankfully it couldnt for it would just be repeated matters that would anger it more. As the girl shifted to the side and proceeded on, Senri could only watch for it did not even understand the girls answer. However it did notice one thing which intrigued Senri once more, she did not hurt Senri. Knowing that she did not harm Senri was something it found to be a revealing side of the girl. Turning around to continue its stare, Senri began to move on its own toward the girl. Following her, Senri had somewhat of a interest of finding out more about this girl. One that was so cold, so still like, so motionless but as well warm in a area that she would not notice was something that Senri wanted to grasp. *

Despite her brisk walk and hurried notions, she'd slowed considerably with a glance slightly cast to the side. Cold felt this strange being following her, like a physical presence that ebbed away at her. If she could place a name for an emotion she'd like to portray, it'd be irritation. Why was this thing following her? It was not on her list, nor would it ever be. He was making her list harder to get through with, perhaps she should finish this challenge head on? No, it'd just make things more difficult to get to later...instead, she chose to ignore it. With her fingers slipping into the pocket of her skirt, Cold pulled out the slip of paper that held all her school information upon it, searching for the dorm room she was to be staying in. Hopefully, it remained unoccupied. Cold didn't fair well with actual people...Speaking of people, even though Cold had continued her path, she could still feel the presence behind her and his continuous following was borderline...off-putting. But she'd never say that, for she never felt it. Or at least she'd like to tell herself that. Cold, the woman with no feeling for she was not a human woman. But as she walked, she found herself wanting to know of this thing's perserverance of her, following her so thoroughly. Had it not gathered from your previous, short conversations that you had no intention to communicate? But why so adamant about following...

Once more, Cold stopped, turning against her heel so that she could face the figure once more. In the movement a small grating sound appeared, brisk and sharp, wood rubbing along wood. A sound of perhaps children's building blocks hitting each other. The sound didn't startle her, if anything she seemed more familiar with it, but whenever the sound occurred she was thrusted back into the reality of her situation, her lack of actual being. Cold eyes watched silently, creepily unblinking, much like a cat's stare. How long could they look at each other before he went away? Certainly he'd be off-put, or notice the strange demeanor she held.

*Senri who followed the girl felt the cold breeze raise its hairs on its skin as it touched its heated body. Even though the coldness threatened Senri, it went against it for the sake of this girl. It felt, that there was a need to follow, to communicate with her. It's body was not just reacting to her but it's mind filled with questions, topics, images. Watching the girls body mechanics, Senri found the girls rythym to interest it, taking in its own observations and mentally keeping it in mind. Suddenly with the vibrations that had halt so quickly, Senri saw the girl turn gracefully toward it. Staring as if she was irritated at it for following. Staring at her, Senri felt her presence that was only a centermeter closer was chilling its body. The riveting sensation of cold was fueling it to step closer toward her. Wanting to get that much closer. Compelling it to get close.*

"Song?" Remy asked, impervious to the presence of the new teacher, or at least, unfazed by his passing, not quite understanding Helena's awe as the door swung closed and he pulled his face around to look at her once more. He did not consider how easy it would be to overhear their conversation had he not waited, and his expression bore the first hints of curiosity as he waited patiently, eyes intent on her.

“And I think I may have found the child to help Remy . . . although I was hoping for a female to watch over the Gemini two as head.” Carmen moved to stand the conversation gone stale before the angel even entered the room. Flynne and Mitch seeming to be silent for all she knew still seething over their own anger or who knows what was wrong with those two at times. “If you guys don’t mind excusing me . . . I think I’ll take a closer look.” At that she merely headed to a walk seeming to walk into and vanish from there.

When the door closed she glanced at it a bit curious about the new teacher only for Remy to ask her and seemed to be staring at her until she gave him an answer. Sighing she actually got the gall to stand. “I’m bored . . . I know DD said to stay but forget that you can if you wish.” She paused finding it not fair she left him hanging she rolled her eyes before smirking and leaning forward to gently brush his hair back and whisper into his ears singing the song. “Mr. Sandman, send me a dream, make him the cutest that I ever seen.” Laughing some she pulled back ruffling the guys hair if he allowed. “Now don’t become a stalker okay? You seem nice and I wouldn’t want to beat you up.”

Blake walked through the halls with his tail swaying back and forth to the music he was listening to with his mp3 player. He was glad that he didn't vandalize the school with that girl, and briefly thought about what kind of punishment she would get from the school staff. He pushed those thoughts aside as he changed his course so he wouldn't accidentally bump into someone walking in the hall.

Ashia arrived at the school for her second year, her eyes glancing about taken it in all together. On the stories she would get from her parents past students of it and the adventures it held in it’s own ways. She knew some of the best spots to be alone, or well around where they should be for catnaps. Having used her first year mainly to try to find them, this year would be different though this year she wasn’t going to be a loner.

Just tossing her stuff on her dorm bed at once Ash decided to explore the school. Tail waving happily, her mother’s breed of cat being one of the few that did such when happy and that trait being passed down to her. Her golden eyes scanned the halls for something fun, anything would do only to pause and a grin to cross her face when she spotted something that. Wait . . . was that a cat or a cat like creature? Purring with excitement she quickly ducked behind a hall before moving behind the other student as quietly as she could. Wanting to have a playful pounce and surprise whoever he was not caring that they never met before.

Blake, still listening to his music, didn't notice Ashia and continued walking, still being careful not to bump into anyone. He soon got bored of the song he was listening to and took out his mp3 player to change it. He searched his playlist as he, unknowingly, got closer to Ashia.
