Concerning Miyazaki's loyalties to the GMP, correct me if I'm wrong anyone? This is the first time I've played a Global Military Police officer; it is my impression that while they can and do work with just about all branches of the Army of Southern Cross, they are ultimately loyal to the GMP? I see them a bit like the police in Masamune Shirow's Appleseed and Ghost in the Shell. I also see them a little bit like the James Bond-style espionage agents but without the huge amount of authority provided to, say, 00-agents who had licenses to kill and so forth?
Put another way, if 1st Sgt. Antonia were to say, order Miyazaki to give her GMP-gained information, the GMP's official answer would be, "not without approval from my direct chain in command," which can be seen as a polite way of saying, "not on my watch" and "go to hell" in the same breath.
If I'm playing Miyazaki inaccurately, let me know now while I'm still getting the hang of her, please? Your input is, as always, welcome!
