Ramirez got out of the van. Today was his family's first day in town. He and his whole family was excited. He was followed by five little siblings. Three sisters and two brothers. The oldest was of the five was a boy at thirteen, the next was a girl at twelve, a girl at eight, a boy at five, and a girl at three. His mother got out of the passenger seat holding a bundle of blankets in her arm. She looked down at the bundle and smiled. "We're here little one." She said softly to the youngest child, at one month. The little baby was asleep.


A huge man walked out from the U-haul. He was taller then Ramirez by six inches, out weighed him by a hundred pounds, he had short dark brown hair. He opened the back and whistled. "Let's get going with unpacking." His voice deep, but had a hint of care. Ramirez and his five siblings followed. Their father started handing them boxes, and they carried them inside the house.

It was just another day in paradise for Abigail Danvers. It being the summer and all, she didn't have to wake early and could do anything she wanted. Abigail got up around noon, she showered and dressed. She went to her window seeing a moving van parked at the house across from hers."Odd didn't know it was off the market. "She mumbles. She shrugged and went to slide down her banister. She slapped her brothers over the hwad and walked for the kitchen. She grabbed her camera and a apple. She went out the back door to go tramping through the woods across from her house just past her new neighbors house. She was sure her mother had brought them a pie or something.


Abigail had brought a bottle of water with her it was in the small bag on her back.She walked across the street and passed the house curious about there new neighbors. She watched a bunch of kids running around. She shrugged and went for the forest trail. She would swim in the river and take photos like ahe did last summer. She normally did this with a group of friends but they were all to busy for her now any way.

Ramirez and the family finished unpacking. While they relaxed he wanted to check out the trail that wasn't too far from the house. He told his parents and he left. He walked to the trail and smiled, and he walked in. All the scents, and sounds familiar to him.

Abigail walked to the river and removed her clothes. She was in her bikini she had taken pictures and now was warm and wanted to cool off. She went int the water and swam around. She enjoyed the cool water on her hot skin. She had dove under and came up for air. She swam for the bank and stood. She let the water trickle down her skin. She grabbed her towel and wrapped it around her as she sat taking pictures. Her hair wet and hanging below her shoulders.

Ramirez made his way to the river. He looked around and sighed softly. He took off his sneakers and socks before he put them both in the water, not noticing the girl that was swimming ten feet away from him.

Abigail turned seeing him. She shrugged and snapped photos of him. Abigail didn't mind new people in the scenery. She watched him through her lense as she took pictures. She smiled and turned back to mire if the forest. She didn't care about the kid. Probably some new guy, oblivious like all guys. She shrugged off and stood. She grabbed her clothes and dressed in her shorts first then shirt.

Ramirez looked at the other side of the river. "At least you got my good side." He said with a soft smile. After relaxing for a moment he could hear all the noises around him, and a breeze brought a wiff of her scent to him.

Abigail rolled her eye's. Men all the same, she thought. She grabbed her camera and bag."no you just were in my way if the landscape."She says

Ramirez chuckled. "Oh your that kind of photographer? Just focused on landscapes and who Evers there is there?"

Abigail shrugged. " what ever is of interest or is just right. "She says and flips her hair. She hung her camera around her neck gently.

Ramirez nodded. "Are you my new member? If you are, your moms Apple pie was amazing. Tell her I said that please." He could remember the woman talked about her daughter. And she looked like she described.

Abigail shrugged" yeah your neighbor Abigail Danvers and sounds like my mom. I'll let her know. "Abigail says

Ramirez nodded with a soft smile. "Thank you. The names Ramirez, by the way."

She nods. " Nice to meet you."Abigail said and sighs.she sat on the river bank and leaned back on her hands. She enjoyed just sitting and watching the world.

Ramirez smiled and pointed across the river. "You see that moose?" He asked pointing at a small cow, barely notcible.

Abigail looked around and gave him a you are nuts look."um no what Moose? "She asked. She rolled her eye's as she put her sunglasses on great she had a crazy neighbor.

Ramirez pointed at it. "That one there silly." The cow made its way into the river and started eating the brush on the shoreline.
