"2 things sir, 1. Your currency does not work here or in this time period, and 2. There's no need to pay" the receptionist replied which just turned out to be a holographic touchscreen

The sudden voice made Emily unsure as she stayed hidden behind her older sister holding on to her jacket.

Emmeline looked around as the voice asked them a question "yes...a few of us a planning to stay here for the night" she replied

"Wonderful, there are rooms ready for you all" the screen seemed to smiled after the response

Emmeline was gathering things to use as payment but stopped when she overheard the clerk tell the man the rooms needed no payment. "thank you..." was all Emmeline could say, surprise to know the rooms were ready so them as well as free. After thanking the clerk Emmeline took Emily's hand and the two went off to look for a room.

Max watched Sheldon leave, a lost look on his face. It was rare for him to not have a direct goal to strive towards, and without any knowledge of the land he found himself in he had no idea where he could even waste time scavenging. He barely even noticed the rest of the group entering and beginning to converse with some kind of talking computer; he was deep in thought, trying to think of anything worthwhile to do. Max quickly walked towards the door, intending to explore the nearby area for anything of interest. As soon as he stepped outside, he stopped.

Earlier, during his walk with the rest of the strange group, he had absently noticed that unlike everyone else, he had no form of transportation. Max was quite adept at acquiring vehicles, so he gave it little thought. However, seeing the ghost about fifty feet away from him removed any need to find a vehicle. There, partially covered in scrap and laying close to the inn, was the last of the interceptors; the original Pursuit Special. Max rapidly strode towards it, stopping some feet away. He rubbed at his eyes, a surprisingly uncharacteristic action for a man such as himself, and confirmed that it was, indeed, real. He had rebuilt it many times over the years, of course, but somewhere inside him he could feel that this was HIS car, the one that he started his journey on.

The only thing that caused him to doubt that feeling was the fact that the last time he saw it, it had been a flaming pile of scrap after someone ran him off the road. Running his hand alongside the hood, he advanced towards the driver door, withdrawing a worn car key from one of the many pockets on his jacket. Hesitantly, he began to put it in, and with one final blink he turned it.

He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding, and the smallest of grins broke his otherwise stoic features. He opened the door, his disbelief being blown away by all the things he recognized; Dog's little bed underneath the glove compartment on the passenger side of the car, the dust and detritus of several years of living in the same vehicle, all the scratches and damage it had acquired before it's final ride...this was the Pursuit Special. He slid behind the wheel, and noticed something was missing. He reverently took a folded photo out of his chest pocket and unfolded it, before putting it onto a clip on top of the dash. The faded faces of Jessie and Sprog stared at him, and he finally rested his back on the seat. He was home.

After several minutes of basking in his discovery, he slowly exited the vehicle and locked it back up, before climbing up one of the nearby scrapheaps. He began to scan the surrounding area visually, trying to locate anything out of the ordinary or interesting he could investigate.

"No need, the kitchen is fully automated, feel free to watch if you wish" the screen smiled

Emmeline and Emily made their way over to the rooms to prepare for their night stay

"Emm! You wont believe what I found" Eloise ran into the room with excitement

Emmeline was sitting on the bed with Emily braiding the small girl's hair. Emily was sitting there holding an old teddy bear, picking at his fur. "Eli!!" Emily yelled happily as Eloise ran into the room before going back to tend to her bear's fur.
"Welcome back Eloise," Emmeline said finishing Emily's braid. Turning her attention over to the excited girl "what did you find?...guessing something amazing! " she said with a smile

"Welcome back Eloise," Emmeline said finishing Emily's braid. Turning her attention over to the excited girl "what did you find?...guessing something amazing! " she said with a smile

"Yeah it was awesome, I can't wait to get working on it" she smiled

(If hes looking for something to fight then no, the area around the junkyard is clear of threats, if he has a vehicle he could travel a few dozen miles in any direction and probably find some bandits, or creatures)

(Which has been settled and probably picked over for years by other scavengers; besides, being a junkyard, the most he'll find is scrap and maybe bits of metal to weld onto his car. Any useful components would have probably been degraded or taken already, and I doubt he's going to find spare ammunition or guns laying around)

After everyone had gotten settled into their rooms, food was delivered in the shape of a small white cube in what looked like a sealed glass cube, but then the voice from the lobby chimed in "just type in what you would like to eat on the glass cube, and it will provide it" the voice said

The sealed glass cube look quite strange to the three Willis sister had never seen anything like this before where they come from "so...the voice said we type whatever we would like to eat?..." Emmeline said to examining the cube in her hand

"OH! I WANT A HUGE! PLATE OF SWEET!!!" Emily said jumping up on the bed holding up her arms "LOTS AND LOTS OF YUMMY THINGS!!!" she added jumping up and down on the bed.

"Ahhhhh.....no..hehe ...don't think that would be such a good idea..." she said shaking her head "the voice did say we can ask for anything...but I think it would be best to ask for something filling...after all not sure how often we will be able to eat a good amount of food.." she softly said placing the cube on her lab before looking over at Elouise " Eli? what you going to ask for?..." she asked.
