Bliss (Dr. Charlene Bliss)
Race: Human
Age: 24
Appearance:
Marking:
Powers: n/a
Abilities:
•Extreme intelligence: she was an astrophysicist before everything well...exploded.
•Mechanical know-how: being an astrophysicist, as mentioned, she worked on the teams trying to colonize further into deep space, aiding in the designing of ships that could go farther than ever before and conquer unseen worlds. Her main job was to map their destinations. Ironic that she, one of those causing the problem, would survive, while innocents died for her mistakes.
Special skills:
•She’s great at math:...not that that really helps.
• She can identify her location simply by the stars: comes with the whole “understanding the every shift of the astral planes” job.
Vehicle:
“Old Faith-Hill”: not old faithful, Faith-Hill!
She was a vintage singer her great grandma liked.
Weapons:
A lovely rifle, ammo, and some arm-armor (“ARMor”). After a brush with losing her arm to a mechanical incident, she often wears it. It was fastened from some parts off non-functioning tanks. The other pieces from the tanks went into her vehicle. Guess those wanking engineers from NASA and SPACE-X knew something afterall. Good thing she listened on occasion.
Personality: Bliss is bubbly, a bit of an airhead despite her high intellect, and undoubtedly friendly. She is a bit shy upon first encountering her, but she can warm up quickly if one seems genuine.
Backstory: Charlene was born on the cusp of the colonization program. Through accelerated education courses, she received her doctorate at 19, and began her studies of the stars. Space was her life. She lived among the stars and walked among asteroids. She saw a world, a planet, far off, from a screen broadcasting from the HUBBLE TELE VI. It looked so promising, so Earth-like. It held so much hope, until its inhabitants made Earth into a dried out heap of rock with a bomb the likes of which no military on the planet could combat. She still feels guilt whenever she passes the shadow of a vaporized corpse; some poor soul who was outside when the blast hit. 12 million reduced to 2 million...all because of her. She no longer lives amongst the stars, nor walks amongst the comets. Gravity finally settled on her shoulders and brought her down to the barren ground.
