Fantasy RiverCrest Vampires [open to new members]

Great so we've got our plot, I'd say we need a few more people. Mainly to play hunters, Werewolves and maybe one more witch and vampire.

If you guys know anyone who does be interested please spread the word!

Now, I know i havent done anything as of yet, but i am interested in joining you lot in this literary endevour. Buuuut i cant help but wonder. How do you plan on having a vampire, werewolf, and hunter thread, if you dont have vampires, werewolves, and hunters?!?!

And witches. Forgive me, oh great, spell casting beings of terrifying power for not mentioning you.

I am of course joking in my prior question. I am comepletly interested in playing a werewolf. I just have afew minor questions,if I may?

Well my good sir that is currently the bridge we're trying to cross. If you'd be so kind as to join in our endevours wemail would very one step closer to our goal.

I must poke your internal mass of thought processing functionality for information on where your opinion stands of werewolves.

To be more accurate, in your opinion, HOW do they stand? Are they the more natural appearing canines of the modern day varient, or do they sit somewhere between human and wolf, standing as large canid behemoths?

Obviously my opinion seems to point to very indesisive breeds as they can seem to choose weather to stand or sit!

THEY. ARE. WEREWOLVES! Whats the fun if they do not turn into the classic huge bipedal monsters that can shred you into tiny little pieces if with their huge freaking claws. Otherwise they are just and over grown pup or a really hairy dude......

They should also have enhanced everything in their human forms as well though, that way they can attack as both beast and superhuman.

But thats just my opinion

I completly agree, Tombstone Tombstone , however, the vomit people called "twilght" has scarred the image of my wolven brothers and sisters with oversized mutts of annoyance. So i felt i must check

Just gonna say it now I like you guys! Such passion and curiosity and to answer your questions.

I belive I've found the possible perfect solution.

While still standing as bipedal werewolves may also resort to all fours for faster means of movement if they wish to me more primal yet still human.

Or we can go this route
werewolf.jpg

By truly capturing the primal power of a wolf and still giving it the mobility and control of its power like man, this form is both traditional in a sense and still captures that native power of the hunt.

Unless you both had other ideas.

Also to even the playing field I am allowing werewolves to have half of their enhanced abilities in human form. Since the beast part is mainly the true source of power they are allowed to do half of what their beast form can which is still alot of damage to both hunters and vampires to be fair.

I feel the second one has a much more...savage feel to it. And I have always found that a very endearing quality to the werewolves. With respect to my blood sucking adversaries, a werewolf kills with raw power and savagery. They are warriors, compared to the more underhanded tactics of the vampire.

Second one is a beautiful depictation in my eyes

Stupid freaking twilight. To paraphrase one of my favorite boos, Vampires should only sparkle when lit on fire......

However it is,atleast, something in comparison to werewolves transformation on comand. They both have strayed from the original tale. Atleast vampires have the same physical appearance. Look what they did to us! We a inbred mutts! Atleast underworld keeps our image alive, or we would be nothing!

Omg<3 Its like you read my mind!!!! Exactly! THANK YOU<3 Twilight sucks.

Once transformed, how does one of my brothers act? Are they the feral beasts of old, or have we managed to atleast retain some form of human intellegence under our furry exteriors?

Mistory Mistory It all depends on the person, of course new and inexperienced werewolves will lash out in fear and won't be focused enought on what's going on sending themselves into a state of panic until the sun comes up.

But there are those who can control themselves once they learn to go with the pain instead of fighting it as they transition and once complete they have full control and memory of their actions.

Some will have it easy while others will naturally require practice.

They way I like to think of it is that at first were wolves are completely feral. 100%. As they get older..... not so much..... they learn how to control their instincts over time and they are able retain high levels of thought. At 100 years of age, they should be able to contend with a master level vampire.

Would it be possible for my Character not to be a Ridgecrest hunter, but a freelance hunter (normal human) for hire? He would have a monster hunting background with a more ancient organizations but left because he was too much of a damn reckless cowboy for them and didn't like the way they ran things.

If not, thats more than fine.

By all means go for it! That could add a bit of tension between tradition and just getting the job done between our hunters but all I ask is that you remember most of the towns population of humans still sum all the occurrences as animal attacks so you'd be dealing mainly with hunters and the sheriff's department for work.

But other than that go crazy man! I can't wait to see the finished product

So, just to sate my curiosity. Would a 20 year old have the capability to atleast associate people and emotions?

Someone who is constantly hard on or aggressive toward him in turn causing aggressive reactions while in wolf form. Someone kind to him gaining a more protective reaction?

A very interesting question my friend, due to the age I would say that the individual depending on how long they have been a werewolf should be able to connect a face with a specific emotion, much like connecting scent with a location as long as they know what their own intentions are they should be fine.

A new blood is naturally born a werewolf. I butchered that much like they eventually did to Babe
