Now she is, and while it wasn't her preferred place to work, but she loves working there and sometimes works into the next shift because she likes it there.

Riley is one of Olivia's personalities. She has quite a mouth, and is sometimes aggressive. She doesn't listen to others, and will even so far as get out of her wheelchair to make her "point" to someone.


Mimi is Olivia's other personality. She is very timid and constantly depressed, sometimes even wishing to be suicidal.


Biography (doesn't have to be long but please explain why your character is there): Olivia lost her vision when she was 9 years old, and was born paralyzed from the waist down, and since she was 11 her multiple personalities began to kick in badly. Her parents had no clue what was going on in her mind, but once when Riley almost killed the assistant principal she was considered a hazard (even though she wasn't) and locked up.

Personality: Noella cannot live without books. She is usually content sitting in a chair with a book and that's about it. She keeps a stash of books in her room and sometimes Maya gets her new ones. When she doesn't have a book, Noella usually spends her time away from everyone else. She is a huge introvert but will talk to others. She hates the sight of blood and sometimes faints.


Biography (doesn't have to be long but please explain why your character is there): Noella is a runaway who has attempted suicide multiple times. She often hallucinated and her parents did not believe her and beat her for it. When she ran she encountered the cops one time and locked her up.

Personality: Jamie is withdrawn and sullen, a selective mute. However, if she gets to know someone really well, she might open up to them. When this happens, she is a funny, intelligent little girl with great artistic ability.


Biography: Jamie was never an outgoing girl. As early as three she always prefered to stay inside and read than go play with 'friends'. However, when her mother died ater remarrying a cruel man named Stephan, everything took a turn for the worse. Her stepfather abused her both mentally and physically. The once bright girl was now a shell of her former self, the sparkling eyes turned to dull stone. She also began to show symptoms of schizophrenia. One day, during a 'fit', the young girl found herself on the street outside her home. A neighbor saw her and promptly returned Jamie to her stepfather. However, no one considered placing her in an institution until she was ound torturing a boy several years older than her. When asked why, she replied, "The voices told me to do it, and stepfather didn't say no." She spent the next day in court, giggling madly the whole time. The judge had her placed in CPS until two months later, when a spot opened up at Riverbrook Insane Asylum.

Biography (doesn't have to be long but please explain why your character is there): First she found picture of her teachers' affair, was bored and posted them all over the school website and school itself. Was caught and expelled. Started to shoplift cause it was fun, was caught and got a probationary hearing, started to burn down abandoned buildings, you can guess what happened next. When she was under house arrest she started to use her nails to cut her wrists, would break things and handle the broken shards carelessly, cutting herself on purpose.

Personality: Piper is very naive and innocent. Her mindset is almost that of a five year old. She takes everything at face value. She has no reason to believe you are lying. Example: "Cut the shit, Piper." "Do I have to cut my poop or your poop? It doesn't sound very sanitary..."


Biography: Piper had a large family, and was the youngest of eight siblings all together. Her mother owned a butcher shop, her father died when she was two, and her oldest brother went to fight the war in Iraq. However, when he came home, something wasn't right with him. A month later, her took an axe and murdered the whole lot, mother right down to the last one. Piper witnesses this at the tender age of five and ran to the meat locker freezer. She trapped herself in, her brother left her there to freeze to death.


Piper can't seem to escape the mental state of a child because of these events. Her brother is in jail, but Piper sees blood everywhere she looks. She needs to clean it, but no matter how hard she cleans, she can't seem to get rid of the blood. Piper is kind and honest, but if you touch her, she goes into fits of screaming and has passed out or froze in a catatonic state.

She became physically aggressive towards anyone who came near her and gave them death threats. The doctor decided to send her to Riverbrook and see if they could help her.

Biography: Doctor Scott Anderson is a reward renowned doctor in his field of medicine. Many of the academic journals of research he has published over the years about his research on mental disorders are talked about in universities. Most of his research is done at Riverbrook. However, to the patients, Anderson's methods are cruel and sadistic. Old archaic practices like lobotomies and electric shock therapy are things he has done in the past.


The difference being that in the 30s, the results weren't as productive. His results speak for themselves. Patients that he releases are better for human society...but at what cost?

Biography:patient number 8 was admitted when he was about 10 years old. his parents were poor and simply could not take care of such a needy boy. they ouldnt work or even sleep sometimes.o they put him up for adoption. the orphanage soon realized something was wrong with him and soon sent him here for treatment.

Personality: Emma has a very sweet personality. When one of her phobias or syndromes aren't triggered, she's sweet, fun-loving and energetic. She loves meeting new people and making new friends, but that's kind of difficult in an asylum.


Biography (doesn't have to be long but please explain why your character is there): Emma suffers from an extremely traumatic experience that has to do with her childhood. But every-time her parents tried to get her to remember it, she'd black out and when she woke, she'd be under the effect of her Walking Corpse Syndrome. This really freaked out her parents, and they sent her to an asylum. The first asylum only made it worse, and she developed Eisoptrophobia and they discovered that she had Bipolar Disorder. She became Suicidal as her time in the last asylum ruined her. Her parents withdrew her from her current asylum and entered her in this asylum, hoping that the results would be different and that one day, they would have their daughter back. The only time she's calm is when she's reading a book.

She has virtually no social life and has a great sense of humor, though she doesn't use it on her patients. She is single and doesn't believe that she will ever date, marry, or have children.

She'd been raised around the medical scene and had observed surgeries and patient interaction since practically day 1. She's always been interested in the medical field as her parents had always been talking medical. When she was little, she spent hours reading a medical dictionary. She knew who she was and exactly where she was going all her life. She graduation top in her class with masters. She then looked at the most available job as she was eager to get started with her practice. So, she applied to join the staff of Riverbrook Insane Asylum.
