Realistic or Modern Riverbrook Insane Asylum

Scarlet slowly walked through the large gates of Riverbrook. She had heard many rumors about the asylum and when people heard she had just been hired there as a nurse they all tried to talk her out of it. Despite this she still showed up for her first day of work. 'They're just rumors...' She thought to herself. She straightened her self up and pushed her long curly hair back from her face before continuing on into the building before her. Once inside Scarlet looked around for someone to talk to, anyone, a receptionist or maybe another nurse or doctor so she could receive the grand tour and run down on things before they put her to work. Now that she thought about it no one explained anything to her about the asylum during the interview, 'Strange.... you'd think I would've bothered to learn a bit more about where I would be working other than it's an asylum before actually deciding to work there.'

Doctor Morgan was walking by scarlet when she stopped and looked at her a second. " Oh, are you the new nurse?" She asked politely.

Doctor Morgan approached the desk with Scarlet. "Nurses, please page Nurse Clark and tell her that her nurse in training has arrived. In the mean time, please find her a nurses uniform to wear. Thank you." She picked up a file and smiled. " Just go with the other nurses, they should help you out and give you the tour." She shook Scarlet's hand and opened the file, walking down the hall. @Komaeda

"Thank you." Scarlet replied before she walked away. Scarlet looked for a uniform and finally found one in her size. While she waited she found an employee bathroom to change in. She slipped the nurses outfit and hat on and adjusted her hair again before returning to where Dr. Morgan told her to wait. 'See this place isn't bad....' She thought to herself while waiting.

Scarlet began to grow tired of waiting for the other nurse to show her around so she began to wonder down a hall out of curiosity. She noticed that everything was kept clean and tidy and that there didn't seem to be very many patients wondering the halls, 'Strange.... maybe they are off doing some sort of activity...'

Jamie looked up. Just the wind. OK, that didn't make sense, but either way, there was no one at the door. ...And she was bored again. She shrugged. Why not try wandering again, just much more cautious? She walked out the door, stuffing chance into her belt for safekeeping. At one point she thought she heard someone behind her, so she turned the corner......

And ran right into another person. It looked like a nurse, but she looked mind of... Lost. Jamie snickered. She had that new kid look about her. And then she remembered. She was not supposed to be here.

Scarlet looked down at the girl. She seemed as if she was wandering around herself. Unsure of where the child was supposed to be she knelt down to speak to her. "Hello, My name is Scarlet." She told the girl sweetly trying to make conversation. "Whats your name?" She asked kindly hoping for an answer.

Ria gently tapped on the door to her cell. "Come out come out, where ever you are." She called out into the hallway, unsure if her voice would reach anyone else. "It's time to play, because the cat's away."

Solitary wasn't fun, and Ria knew that. She didn't go to solitary for being alone, she did it because she was bored. Anderson was annoying, but his little sessions were better than circle time and art therapy. Plus, when Ria loved the chance of disturbing her parents' normally quiet life with a phone call from the psych ward, saying their kid had screwed up again. She didn't care about her parents, didn't care whether or not they cared about her. The attention Ria wanted was beyond people, she wanted the whole world to acknowledge her, and if it took burning down buildings or shoving her hand down her throat so be it. Ria was a junkie, she was addicted to danger, and like a junkie she would do a lot of things to get her high.
