Fandom Rise to Kage (A Naruto RP)

Oh this looks dope as hell, I'd love to join if ya have me

Everyone who has expressed interest in the RP is welcome to submit a character sheet for review
Your character sheets don't have to be as lengthy as mine. I just used one of mine as an example

If you're still accepting, I'm interested!

Hello everyone, here is some more info regarding the RP and character creation.

If you're wanting to create an original clan for the RP:

There isn't a particular structure that I'm wanting really for clans. Just would need some history about them and their distinct qualities (physical characteristics, behaviors, values) Whereabout they are in the world and their interactions and feelings on other clans (relations with Samurais as well if relevant) Including any special abilities and such that are clan exclusive.

Obviously keeping them reasonably powered.

As for original jutsu, they can be as creative as you like. Just keeping them reasonably skilled for each stage of you characters rank. Any sort of 'trapping technique' is probably a no-go as we want to steer away from any player drama. Traps are mostly fine PVE if used realistically and responsibly.

Equipment

Ninja tools are limited to a set amount, so that players don't just have an endless supply. I'd say each player can use up to a dozen of each basic tool (shuriken, kunai knife, etc.) before they run out or need to resupply. Less if explosives. And really depending on what tool it is.

Chakra

Another thing players should be mindful of is chakra reserves and chakra control.

Your character might have higher than average chakra control, but low to average chakra reserve or vice versa. This prevents any players from unrealistically spamming jutsu back-to-back or using strong attacks without having to recharge.

Same with activating like say a particular kekkei genkai, especially if they aren't a pure-blooded member of the originating clan.

Could you elaborate on this? Does this mean we should avoid things like seals or genjutsu which can 'trap' opposing characters albeit temporarily?

O, no, rank appropriate seals and genjutsu are allowed and temporarily entrapment

There will be rules though when using traps against other players

Any technique or forms of trapping that guarantee trapping, prolonged immobility, or inescapable traps is an example of a no-go.

Six is a nice round number, but it's down to how you envision to story/plot going and if it can work with about 6 or so Ocs, maybe more if some people maybe multiple characters.

I'd be down to join if you'd allow me to adapt my brain canon OC that my nerd self created on Shinobi Strikers the game.

I think he'd be a good fit, and while he does come with some rare blood, he has no immediate Kekkei Genkai doujutsu or otherwise to speak of.

The only requirement he has is that his Clan hails from the land of clouds and is comprised of refugees from the land of waves, as well as some Uzumaki from fire country.

Were most of the Uzumaki still eradicated the same way in this alternate universe as they were in Naruto canon? (spoiler alert?)

I'm literally on that game! lol Pretty new to it, but having fun so far
I'm sure we can make your idea fit for the most part (with reasonable and natural progression of the character)
I haven't fully decided the state of the Uzumaki's, but I'll update you on that when I come to a decision.

If everyone is still on board then I definitely agree.

Hey there, I'm late to the party but I'm a big fan of the idea of focusing on low-power ninja shenanigans like early in the series and I'd be interested in joining in if you guys end up needing any additional participants. It sounds like you have a good number with 6 though, which would make two three-member squads, but maybe somebody backs out or another couple people want in and then there'd be a place.

Something tells me we’ll have room! Haha
Plus we can have multiple characters to balance the teams out if need be

If you actually would send it over to me in a pm first for approval to avoid any unfinished/unapproved sheets.
