Grace awoke, only just a little bit less tired than when she went to sleep.

Jason was sleeping pressed against her, mainly due to the fact that they were given no blankets or anything. He groaned, "Grace..?"

"Yes?" Grace muttered quietly.

 

[ShadowWildpelt]

"Are you... are you feeling a little better?" He groaned.

 

[SandraDeelightful]

"Y-yes," Grace stuttered.

He groaned, "What did... what did master do to you last night?"

 

[SandraDeelightful]

"He, he was kinder than he usually is," said Grace. "Not by much, but he was kinder.

 

[ShadowWildpelt]

Jason nodded. "Yes... master is usually very cruel."

 

[SandraDeelightful]

Grace nodded and felt tears come to her eyes.


"Yes," Grace agreed.

He gently gave her a remembrance through an embrace.

Grace embraced him back, a few tears falling down her cheeks.

"Are you okay?"

Grace nodded.


"Yes, I'm fine," said Grace. "Don't worry about me."

He gave her another gentle hug and sighed before closing his eyes tightly and pulling her into a tight embrace.

Grace embraced him back as tightly as she possibly could.

He smiled, "Are you feeling better?"

Grace nodded.


"Yes, I am," she said. "Thank you."
