TV & Film RIP Robin Williams, We Never Had a Friend Like You!

[QUOTE="The Dark Wizard]Isn't that show what started his career as an actor/comedian?

It is indeed, back in 1978!

From times of struggle you found an old woman's heart, in times of danger you spoke out the truth with a booming good morning voice.

With three wishes you broke out a dream and with your happy thoughts you taught us to fly.

High above we found your joys, like soul mates you touched each of us and are connected forever.

Oh Captain, oh sailor, oh professor of the mind.

You will be missed...

I was saddened greatly to hear of his death, actually an RP partner of mine told me about it. A great actor, comedian, and human being. He will be missed.

My childhood was watching movies with him in it, i found out today after looking at this photo of him. May he rest in peace...

The man was a genius. A veritable titan of comedy, a true humanitarian, and an actor whose talents were never fully explored.

Now he is beyond all pain, our grief pales in comparison to what his family and friends must be feeling.

May they find succour in all the outpourings of love. We might not see his like again.

For the Documentary that I'm sure they will end up doing, I want Morgan Freeman's voice and if he shows up, he is obviously playing God.

Infact, I want Morgan Freeman as God, giving us a Tour of Robin William's life.

As a disney fan... I can't even say the words... All I can say is that he will be greatly missed....

We will all miss you...

My entire childhood was filled with Robin Williams' work. He was a great comedian and a stellar serious actor as well. I think I'm going to go watch Awakenings now.

In fact thinking back, he first appeared on the sitcom Happy Days as Mork so actually Mork and Mindy was a spinoff of Happy Days. Funny to think back when this show, which was set in Boulder Colorado, was on I was growing up in So Cal and now I live in Colorado. Gonna miss his comic wit.

Well while on the subject and since the things seem to come in waves, I'll bid a fond RIP to Lauren Bacall--though I dunno how many many here are classic film buffs like me and will remember the amazing duo of Bogart and Bacall, though she was an acting powerhouse in her own right.

I haven't posted on this yet, because I simply haven't known what to say.

Though, I found a positively beautiful song on youtube in his memory.

A total shame that there are so many A-Holes that the drove his daughter off twitter with there bile over his death. It is sad when some peoples enjoyment is based on trolling others.
