Elizabeth was born into a happy family, or so she thought. When Elizabeth was around 15 her mother had some heart condition, but the doctor did not treat it correctly. This eventually lead to her mother's death. She came home from school to find her mother dead on the floor. She was angry because her father was supposed to be home to take care of her mother, but he left to go out drinking with some buddies from work. Ever since then she had resented her father. When Elizabeth was in college, her father had started seeing somebody 3 years older than her, who he ended up getting pregnant. That women took off leaving Elizabeth's father with the boy. This had lead her father to drink...a lot. He ended up losing custody of the boy. If Elizabeth hadn't taken the boy in he would be in the system and she couldn't let her half brother go through that.

Kids?: He's technically not hers, but she has custody of him. He's really her younger half brother.
