Mélodie: she does think he's rather cute, and being the 'lady' she is, she likes a gentleman. but, she's not very flirtatious so she wouldn't go above and beyond to get his attention.

Yudai: he's very trusting by nature. he believes that hansel is decent guy and wouldn't mind being his friend.
