I think if I was not set on playing a Liminal, I would have played an Alchie for sure.I'm trying to decide on the type of Exalt to play. Part of me wants to try a Alchie, another wants to do the Sidereal. Anyone have a thought about that?

Just saying, but ew. lolWhen their anima is active, their skin is coated in a white ash-like dust/sand...and signs of decay (insects, worms) can be seen wriggling under their skin and coming out their eyes and mouth..

Yup...necromantic creations and also undead beings of the dark mother that protects the living from the dead...they are not pretty but they are generally good...they can die and come back at the end of a scene...Just saying, but ew. lol
Hmmm. To be completely honest, I'm not sure if the higher Essence Exalts take that into account when they give the number of Charms available. Let me ponder this and I'll let you know.Ok, a quick question. I got that we are starting at Essence 3. According to the advancement template, we get 13 Charms. But then the book then says this:
"Whenever the Circle’s members increase their Essence, each character may choose another Ox Body or Excellency to acquire for free. This includes starting characters at Essence ratings higher than 1."
So, do we get 13 Charms including the freebies, or is it 13 Charms plus our three free ones of either Ox Body or an Excellency? I don't want to make the wrong assumption here and get more or less Charms than I'm supposed to.
Having a good navigator is almost a must in a situation like this. It certainly wouldn't hurt.And I'm still torn between playing a Journeys Caste Sidereal or a Alchemichal.
EDIT I was thinking of going with the Journeys Caste as our chief pilot and navigator, but I'm not locked on that yet.

The base line (E1) Template notes the Excellency/Ox-Body freebies separately from the number we select. So we could do the same if we want to use that to compare to for consistency. ie. An Excellency or Ox-Body for each essence level in addition to the 13 of our choice without restrictions.Hmmm.
