Return of the Shogun

It's a good idea, but not my bag. If you play RIFTS as long as I have, you learn to HATE that shit. 'Cause everything in that fuckin' game is something that has taken over someone's body or is directing it all from behind the scenes  :roll:

The thing I'm wondering is how would Lookshy take to a re-imerging Shogun? Would they quickly step to his side, or are they too use to their own independence and not want to fall under anyone's rule now? If they didnt, I cant see the Shogun having much power as the Realm and Lookshy are the only real powers in the world.
 
I reiterate, Lookshy killed the last one who had relation to the Shogun, it's in the new Scavenger Lands book.
 
Well, his family still survives so his bloodline probably does too.  Also, I'm sure it's iffy if he really was a descendant from the Shogun; if he really was, then why did he try to assassinate Nefvarin?  I'm sure it's a dubious claim at best.


This reminds me of one of the English kings who struggled to earn the throne.  They actually claimed to be descended from King Arthur to legitimize themselves and even commissioned the building of a round table.
 
Very true...  A conspiracy within Lookshy that aims to keep the Shogun from being reborn would be very interesting indeed.
