Realistic or Modern Retaliation

Adélia spun around in her chair as she watched Benji do his thing. She rolled across the room and picked up a book that was randomly sitting on a counter. She opened the book and began reading it. It didn't seem to have much importance to anyone since it didn't seem taken care of at all. As the blonde read the book she spun around the room on her spinny chair. Adélia wanted to get some yogurt, but she decided that she's rather hang out with Benji.


(Just got home from a soccer tournament. Got first place!)

Grey looked at Lexi for a bit then walked into the garage. "What's goin' on homies?!" Benji asked turning around and eyeing his sister's spinny chair for a moment. The younger teen tilted his head to the side when he saw Grey carrying Lexi, "So . . . what exactly happened?" Grey put Lexi down on a chair and brought another chair close to her so that she could put her leg up on it.

Adélia looked up from the book when Grey walked in while carrying Lexi. She raised an eyebrow before she wheeled away to give them some space. She looked at Lexi's ankle and tilted her head slightly. She rolled over to Benji and looked at the screens for a moment. Adélia then returned to reading the random book and crossed her legs as she sat on the very comfortable chair.

"Went outside and stuff" Grey responded going toward the monitors. "Find anything?" He asked before looking at Adélia. "Oh. Thanks, Greyson" Benji replied then shifted his gaze to Lexi. "Seriously though. What happened? Are you okay?" The younger teen continued hoping to gain some real information on the event he missed.

Adélia looked up from her book and saw Grey looking in her direction. She got off of her chair and stretched as she looked at everyone. "I'm getting some yogurt. I''ll be back" She said simply as she left the garage and headed towards the kitchen. Adélia made sure not to get in the way of Lexi and Grey so she went around them and left the garage. Once she found her way to the kitchen she went to the fridge and looked for a good type of yogurt. Finally Adélia picked one and then she grabbed a spoon before making her way back down to the garage.

Grey raised a brow when Adélia didn't answer his question. She didn't even do it vaguely the way he had responded to Benji. At least he gave a somewhat valid answer. Nevermind. The older teen thought taking a look at the monitors himself. Humane Labs. Well then, better get to work. "Benji you got some schedule or anything?" Grey asked. "Not yet but we need training, more info, strategies, and . . . gadgets" Benji replied smiling at the last word.

Adélia finally found her way back to the garage and hadn't yet touched her yogurt. She slipped past Grey and Lexi and sat down in her seat. Finally she opened the yogurt container and began to eat her yogurt. Once she was situated on the chair she slowly spun and ate her yogurt. "So what exactly happened Lexi?" Adélia asked quietly, not sure if she was even close enough to the older girl to talk to her. Running a hand through her ponytail quickly, Adélia relaxed into the chair and continued eating.

"Thanks." Lexi mumbles to Grey when he sets her in the chair and grabs another for her foot, happily resting her ankle on it. She felt kinda bad having Grey carry her all over the place. "I'm okay, just a sprained ankle. It'll get better soon." She tells Benji, nodding her head slightly at him.


She watched Adelia leave the garage and return a couple moments later, with yogurt in her hand. She smiled at Adelia when she asked this and shrugged her shoulders, "Just ran into some assholes." She mumbles, "Tried to steal my baby." By 'baby' she meant the camera that she was holding tightly in her hands. "If it wasn't for Grey, don't think I'd be sat here right now."

Adélia looked at Grey and nodded. "Seems like Grey would be the type of guy to save a damsel in distress." She said with a giggle before she spun back over to the counter where she set down the random book. She picked it back up and began reading by balancing it on her knees as she ate her yogurt quietly. Adélia occasionally looked up at the other three people in the room before she tried to turn the page, not wanting to put down her beloved food. The blonde was out of the way while the others talked and worked on things over in Benji's corner.

Lexi nodded her head slightly, agreeing with Adelia. "He sure did act like a hero." She says with a small grin and laugh, leaning back in her seat and watching Grey and Benji talk about... things. She picked up her camera and started to look through the photos she had taken while she was out there. Good thing she got a couple before the loser from before appeared. She glanced at Adelia and couldn't help but take a random photo of her, "What ya' reading?" She asks her, looking over the photo.

"Too much dairy is bad for you!" Benji scolded his sister as he went over to her and took the yogurt away. Grey's gaze shifted to Adélia once she made her comment. "So I got all the monitors up and ready. I assume you'll get back to your car thing?" Benji said causing Grey to look back at him. The older teen nodded then went back to a tool box.

Adélia gasped at Benji and instantly jumped off her chair to go and get her yogurt back. "Give it back! Benji you know that I love it more than anything!" she pleaded and looked over at Lexi. She then held up the book that she had in her hand and pointed to it. "I don't know. I just found it laying on a counter" Adélia said with a nervous laugh before looking back at her brother. Crossing her arms she glared at him before she looked at the yogurt that had been ripped away from her so harshly. "Please Benji will you give it back to me?" Adélia asked as she made a very sad and innocent expression.

Benji smiled and ate some of the yogurt. "Too much dairy is bad for you" The teen repeated. "Anyway, you two mind helping me out? Humane Labs obviously wants to get rid of us. So we need to find away to take them down. I was thinking that we should check out all their head quarters. What do you two think?" He asked looking at Lexi and Adélia.

Lexi laughed at the two siblings as they argued over the yogurt causing her to shake her head. 'Good thing they got along..' She thought to herself, thinking back to her older and younger siblings, wondering what they were up to and if they were okay with the whole situation. That thought slipped her mind when Benji spoke again. "Well, if we're planning on taking down Humane Labs, we're going to have to check out their head quarters." Lexi says with a small laugh, nodding her head at the two.

Adélia's jaw dropped as her brother took a bite of her yogurt. She slumped to the floor and pouted. She looked at the two and rubbed the back of her head and nervously laughed. "Well if it's going to be involving things that Benji is good at, I probably won't be much help. Though I'll help as much as possible" She got to her feet and glared at her brother before walking over to her spinny chair. Once again she sat on it and began to spin around as she waited for instructions. Adélia saw Grey working over by the car which made her raise an eyebrow. "Is Grey just going to work on the car all day?" She asked softly, not wanting them to think that she was being rude when she wasn't at all. She was just curious about him working on the car nonstop.

"Thanks for understanding my thought, Lexi" Benji said then looked at his sister. "Adélia, I'm pretty sure you're better than me at some of this stuff we're about to do" He added before focusing on the monitor again. "Maybe you should question him? I ain't doing that" The young teen typed away to find the different locations around the world.


Grey took out the Glock 27 from behind the band of his pants and aimed it at his car window, "Those scientists probably have some low ball connections with some criminals. Might as well get ready to be up against them too". He fired the gun at his new car's window causing the glass to shatter.


"Mhm I ain't questioning him especially with that in his hands" Benji concluded after jumping at the gunshot.

Adélia smiled at Benji's compliment and so she felt a bit more confident than usual. "Aw come on Benji. You're like the smartest guy here." She said and looked over at Grey who fired a gun at the car window, making the glass shatter and fly everywhere. She jumped slightly and sighed as she spun around in her chair. "Now I feel like I'd be annoying if I asked him..." Adélia trailed off before she got up and walked over to the older boy and looked at the shattered window.


"Wow I've never actually seen a window get destroyed from being shot." She mumbled slightly before she looked up at Grey. Silently calming herself she talked to him as normally as possible. "So Grey, if you're going to be working on the car a lot, what exactly are you going to be doing?" Adélia gave herself a mental high five since she hadn't stuttered or anything. It just meant that she had already gotten comfortable around the teen since she was able to talk to him.

Lexi couldn't help but laugh at Benji when he said this. "Since when did you start playing with guns, Grey?" She calls out, glancing back at him. The last time she remembered him, he used to be charming and happy. Well, she couldn't say he wasn't happy now but yeah.

"Modifying its features" Grey responded seeing the back door open from the side of his eyes. "See ya got started already" Surge said seeing the broken glass, walking in, and putting down a new spinny chair. Benji's eyes widened. The young teen immediately ran to the spinny chair before jumping onto it and spinning around. "YES! Thank you!" Benji cheered getting off the chair then rolling it to the monitor station. The big man nodded at Benji. He walked back outside and returned with four glass panels. "I'm not playing" Grey said after hearing Lexi's question. Surge and Grey gave a slight wave to each other as Surge left. Grey picked up one of the large glass panels and took out a tape measure.

Adélia looked at the man who walked in and gave Benji his new chair. She laughed softly before she looked back at Grey and Lexi. She observed how the two got along which made a thought pop into her head. She crouched down to look at Grey before she stood up and looked at Lexi. Nodding to herself Adélia giggled slightly before telling Grey to keep up the good work. The young girl made her way over to her brother and sat down in her own spinny chair, just looking at Lexi's expression as she talked to Grey. "They could work" Adélia said quietly so really only she could hear. She noticed her yogurt was sitting where Benji was working so she quickly leaned over and snatched it back.

Grey measured the car's window area then went over to one of Benji's still filled gadget bags. Benji paused and watched Grey take out one of his gadgets. "OH! Be careful with that one" The young teen warned the older one. Grey's cold stare targeted Benji, "I saw the blueprint. I know what I'm doing". Benji nodded, but kept his attention on his gadget. Grey made it back to his materials then placed the tape measure next to the glass. He clicked a few switches and turned a few knobs on the invention before turning it on and having a laser give the glass some clean cuts.

Lexi watched Grey play around with the gadget in his hands and shrugged for a moment, looking back at Benji. She didn't really understand the gadgets yet they looked so cool. "Alright, shall we start looking for the headquarters?" She asks him with a small raised eyebrows. "I'd love to see where these low-lives are hiding. Picking on teenage kids." She mumbles, shaking her head slightly.

Emet wandered into the Garage, and glanced at the older kids sitting in the chairs. He sat down by the door, not really caring that he might be in the way. He spotted Lexi, and stood again, then walked over to her. He stopped next to her chair, his eyes flicking from Adélia to Benji, then over to the car Grey was working on. He said nothing, and simply listened to the older kids conversation, and watched.

Lexi noticed the little boy walk into the garage, sit down for a moment before walking again and standing besides her chair. She smiled widely at him and ruffled his blonde hair a little, messing it up slightly. "Hey Emet." She says softly. How he managed to get into the garage, she had no idea. "You okay, buddy?" She asks him.


She always found Emet cute.

Grey repeated the process with the other panels of glass. "Don't get him near here" He said in a monotone voice while continuing to laser through some glass. "Roger that dude" Benji saluted to Grey then waved at Emet. "What's up little guy!" The young teen greeted with a smile before turning back to the screen. "Right, let's start looking for the other H.Q.s" he continued then typed a few words onto one of the keyboards.
